P: What is so wrong about making your own topic about something that is bothering you as long as you can get other people to talk about it too?

I have occasionally but it only's when the issue is a big deal. Smaller issues go here.

I've taken up making videos to try to explain my scleroderma but also showing that I don't let it rule my life. I'll admit my videos aren't that great but so far those I showed it to(other women with scleroderma) enjoyed it.

If we make a rant thread then a lot more people will have seen/commented about it. Which isn't something (I'm assuming) most of the people who post rants in here will want.
