So the vote is supposed to be closed when judging is done, but is it going to be closed when it actually is done since well, it should be done already or is it going to be closed after three willing people are already found?
Is this a subtle way of saying we have 2 more weeks until round 1 results will be delivered? stare

Somehow giving someone a shorter fight than everyone else is fair.

It's a compromise Naota. Besides, 10 posts each easily meets the par on the other fights' lengths. Would you prefer saying "they get the full duration you all did?"
Because if that was done, everyone would vote Option 1 regardless of the right thing to do.

Oh s**t, estimated 3 day (or so) extension! That's a mind ********, whatever will we do? eek
It's not like the judges grade at the same time anyway, we'd have that time to wait regardless.

Platinum Royal Vintrict Avatar changing time! *searches for inspiration* do some kind of animal! No. I am not a furry. And I was the one who said option one is the natural option, but they put up such a rant about it that they wanted a vote to see what the fighters want to do. An unintentional bye isn't that much of a bad thing, and is hardly significant in the first round. They still have five more rounds to prove themselves. The three will decide whether they make it to the finals or not. It's all in the numbers. And it's just putting complication over something that doesn't need it.

Three extra days effecting no more than six Round two fighters?
Quite the extension. Glad you're dodging that so that Three people won't be allowed to play.

But if your theory that most people likes to work under time pressure is true, then the majority of them do grade at the same time!

Alright, if Vintrict is going to push what "hasn't" worked the past several years, I give trying to argue anything otherwise.
You of all people should realize this is foolish.

Except the judges have no time limit save ones self-imposed, you t**t. Don't twist my words when you can't even understand the original context they were in.

Maybe the participants should enforce a realistic deadline for them then.
That and most people are mistaken when they believe they put out their best work when under pressure from the clock, but that's not really part of the point you tried to make.
But don't get upset at sarcasm, even if it is true most of them probably do the majority of their work at the last minute complete overestimating their own ability. Most of us do.

Most of the participants shy away from conflict and will readily go with the most convenient and quick to obtain result regardless of who it affects and what it entails, that doesn't work. I guarantee you can ask half the participants here to list the judges names and they'd only get half of them if we're lucky, you think we can enforce a schedule on them?
Also, I never said "best work." The truth is though, that's part of the challenge: to get satisfactory (not average, above average) work done in a timely fashion. You don't get to spend years and years perfecting your masterpiece even if you have that kind of drive (most people here do not), unless you're wealthier than hell and can live off that in the meantime, but that's a moot side-point. Pressure keeps work coming.
