Bale's eyes went wide as Marcus grabbed her hand and after he released she pulled her hand back slowly. She was unaccustomed to such formality's. Her discomfort only continued to increase each time the man glanced over. Her stance and expression remained blank as always.

Shadow caught Selena as she fainted, "Yeah.... I figured she would have fainted long before now. The old girl is getting tougher." Said Shadow as he set Selena down in a comfortable position and proceeded to look at his watch. "She should be coming back to life in..... about 20 seconds you think?" he said to Rose. he had his bottle with him figuring that Selena was going to need it more than he did.

Sajuuk paid little attention to things. he was holding onto Skadi for the moment and she took up his attention for now. The roof of the manor could fly off and he would not really have noticed right now.

Shadow held back a chuckle for the moment, he would laugh about all of this later on. he took a final swig from his bottle before handing it to Selena. "You need it more than I do right now. Strange, they come bearing alcohol for me but forget about you Selena." Said Shadow. he was just poking a little fun, trying to break the tension a little while Rose filled in what ever else was going on.

Sajuuk listened intently to Skadi talk away, "We missed you to sweetie. We will tell you all about where we went and will even take you there sometime. I think you would love it there." Said Sajuuk, now listening to her time with Selena. "That is wonderful, you two sound like you had a very fun time together." he paused for a moment, then decided to fill in Skadi about where they had been, just describing to her the city, the forests with the lakes and so fourth. Skadi would have had little interest in the political side of things so he took the more interesting approach.

Shadow gave Selena a joking glare, "You can't blame this one on me, this is as much your fault as it is mine... actually it is more your fault than it is mine. You sent them to the clan schools, ambition is one of those nasty traits people pick up there. Everyone has to out do the other in one way or another.... event he teachers." Said Shadow and poked Selena's side. Rose was as much Selena as she was Shadow, that is what made her such a deadly combination. "Could be worse. At least she never inherited my inability to stop chasing things once set my sights on them." said Shadow.

Sajuuk could not help but smile a little, "Thank you sweetie, why don't you keep a hold of that for now and I will take it when we get back to our room then you can give mummy hers to." Said Sajuuk. he had noticed something going on with Shadow, Selena and Rose but he was able to predict the sort of outcome and knew that it was going to take quite some time. "Hey Skadi, you hungry?" he asked. he was getting a little bored of just standing there. Those three were in their own little world that was already erupting into playful banter, Sajuuk wanted to be long gone just encase it all turned hostile arguments especially if Skadi was around them. "Or shall we go play while mummy and the grand parents talk about boring stuff?"

Selena couldnt help but crack a grin then softly laughed"I sent her to the Clan school to get a proper education."Selena shook her head"Well,that true...once she set her mind to something she doesnt stop til it done"Selena smiled "there something your not telling me Shadow. so what is it "

Shadow now confused looked to Selena, "What do you mean there is something I am not telling you? Why do you always assume there is something i am not telling you. This is about Rose and Sajuuk not me. Ask them." Said Shadow. Did he always have that sort of look on his face that said there is something I am not telling you? There was possibly many things he was not saying but this was about Rose more than anything, besides he did not know what Selena knew that he might not.

Sajuuk had completely stopped paying attention to what was going on. "Food and then play it is." Said Sajuuk as he just left the room. he had that ability while Rose would most likely get told to stay put if she so much as tried to move an inch. He was glad that people never paid much attention to him. He walked down to the kitchen and set Skadi on the counter, "What would you like to eat my dear?"

"Yes I keep secrets but... you know.... I know less than you do on this I think." Said Shadow, he did love his secrets but did not enjoy them really. Old habits just die hard in this case. "Oh so you just casually call out secrets because you know there are some but might not relate to the situation huh? Typical woman you are." Said Shadow, joking a little. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Rose sort of inching away, he pointed to Rose without looking to her and said, "Where do you think you are going Missy. You still have a lot of explaining to do to your mother and I."

It took Sajuuk a few moments to figure out what Skadi was wanting. his experience of such foods was limited but he managed to roughly piece it together. it took him just a little while to make the food and it was not going to be the standard she was used to but he had to learn sometime. "here you go, enjoy it." He said with a smile as he set the food down next to Skadi.
