Quick synopsis: Basically there are these inventions that are an advanced form of roller skates called Air Treck or A-Ts for short. They are very versatile and can be used to do a lot of gravity-defying tricks. People who use them outside of official sport are called Storm Riders and there are multiple teams with different 'ranks' that battle for supremacy. In this world, Storm Riders each have different styles of "running" called 'roads', which is basically their style and character in using the A-Ts.
The coolest part are the Eight 'Kings' and the 'Regalia' that they possess, which are basically super-modified A-Ts with abilities that match the "King's" style and road.
For example, the Fang King's Bloody Road, his Regalia are wheels with sharp spikes that enable him to create a 'slice of air' to cut up opponents, or slice up opponents in general by running over them.
The physics in this series are actually quite logical as well, however advanced they may be.
