I've pretty much been against cheating(hacking mostly) since Diablo 2. It just shows a lack of skill to me. My thought's are, "If you can't play the game right, why play it at all."

Hacking doesn't bother me, depending on what it is. If its a harmless hack like getting hidden weapons, I don't care. If its (in most cases it is) unlimited ammo, invisibility, invincibility, walking through walls and speed hacking, I get annoyed. In War Rock, theres winter give-aways. There were 3 weapons, and some lucky people got to get'em. Its just as unfair as it is hacking, because a handful of people don't get them. Most of my games don't have cheats or hacks anyways.

Ahh, halflife. Good game series. I just finished Jedi Outcast, and for some reason, I cant input cheats or access the "extras" content.

I don't mind ingame cheats as much, as long as their use is limited, but that's enough of that.

Ral Roke I don't mind ingame cheats as much, as long as their use is limited, but that's enough of that. Such as all weapons fully loaded in the old Doom?

They were built into the game after all. I just can't stand people who use hacking programs on a multiplayer game or pay real money to buy an item that they can't get themselves.

Ral Roke Office Space, a good movie indeed. I believe you have my stapler. I cheat in Oblivion. I have 1,000 Willpower. I already beat it all without cheating once, so I wanted to be able to mess around with some insane spell power. Good times. I have a custom omni-damage spell that nothing is entirely immune to and it does decent damage, so I use that as my main weapon. I like cheating because it's only when you cheat that you can mess around. For example, in the Donkey Kong 64 game, I tried to see how far I could go with it through the level without ever touching the ground, etc. I used cheats in the Bomberman 64 game to make it where the players always had hearts, meaning they're invincible, and would have every level go through its Sudden Death stuff, just to see who could avoid getting hit by the most crap falling from the sky, etc.

Doom 3, might I add, even better. One of my hacker bud's, said "hacks are a gift. They're meant to be found. The game creators like hacks, because, in the end, people play the game." Hes a smart kid, and that sounds half and half.

I made a cheat with the Game Shark for Winback that was kinda fun.
It was a lifebar cheat that had it set to 1 HP. You either had to beat the game without taking a single hit, or die, and it only applied to you. The enemies still had normal life and the bosses were just as tough as always, etc.
The most fun cheat I made was for Pirates! Gold, to keep you always at 25 years old. The game in basically timed, getting wounded makes it shorter because over time your health gets poorer because old wounds and old age get to you, but even the most flawless game makes you retire after so long.
Well, if you stay 25 ( starting age btw ) you can keep playing forever, provided you don't get wounded like 50 times. Enough failed battles and you'll retire still, but at least the age cheat got rid of the forced retirement annoyance.
