"The pokemon aroundhere are... Meditite, Swablu, Bibarel, Machop, Scyther, Machoke, Hoothoot, and of course, Noctowl." He shrugged, "Feel free to catch one..." He thought a little more, "Let's get near the river though, there'll be more pokemon there." He said and started walking.

Berg nodded as he moved toward the river. He heard a rustling in the trees near him so he called out Torch.
Torch appeared seemingly aggravated but was ready to battle. Berg grabbed a rock and threw it into the tree. From it, flew a Noctowl. He had not yet gained the rank to catch any evolved Pokemon, so he decided that just a battle would do. Berg ordered Torch to attack the Noctowl.
An Ember flew from Torch and hit the bird, trying to escape. Noctowl responded with a Sky Attack, halting any other movements for a moment. Berg took the opportunity to use a Sand Attack, hoping to throw off its accuracy. The Noctowl was pelted with sand from the river's edge.
She attempted to connect the Sky Attack but due to its lack of vision, the Noctowl slammed into a tree instead. The Noctowl was now greatly injured thanks to the failure of such a powerful attack. Torch charged in for a Scratch in attempt to faint the wild Noctowl. The attack connected but she had yet to give up.
Noctowl screeched into the ait causing an uproar; Berg fell to his knees because of the painful shreek. Torchic flinched slightly before spewing another Ember; this was all the Noctowl could take. The Noctowl fainted and Berg continued searching for another Pokemon to be possibly caught.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A little while later...
As Berg continued searching, he came to a small area from which he could see two Pokemon, a Scyther and a Meditite.
Berg decided to go for the Scyther. Seeing as how Torch was already out and he was elementally superior to Scyther, Berg ordered a surprise Peck attack.
Torch jumped into the air and hopped from tree limb to tree limb and assaulted the Scyther from the air. Scyther was knocked back and took extra damage; it seemed to be a critical hit. Scyther seemed to be relaxed and took his time to attack.
"He must be formulating an attack Torch. He seems to be very intelligent. Be careful!"
Scyther started by leering at Torch and waiting for his next move. Torch, angered by his defensive actions, immediately spewed an Ember in his direction. Scyther dodged with ease and connected a Quick Attack.
Speed was on Scyther's side and he was agile as well. Torch's attacks would have to be well planned and executed. Berg thought for a moment a commanded Torch to initiate an Ember in the direction of Scyther but to aim it for the tree behind him. Scyther dodged the attack, allowing it to hit its target.
The wild Scyther responded with a False Swipe which was barely dodged by Torch. After missing its attack, it returned to its place in front of the tree. By now, the tree had been slowly burned away and was about to tip over right onto Scyther.
Scyther somehow managed to notice that a tree was about to fall on him so before he was hit, he moved more towards the river. Before he could look back, Torch had connected another Peck attack and it sent him into the river. Scyther flailed as he was being taken by the current and he was not strong enough to escape. Berg was planning on catching him anyway so why not save him at the same time.
Time to use my new Colorball he thought to himself. He reached to grab it from his bag and threw it at the Scyther, sucking him in with a red glaze. The ball returned to Berg's hands and shook several times.
Wobble. Wobble. Wobble. DING!
The capture was a success! Berg put the ball in his backpack and continued back to find Arekku.

Arekku watched Berg's battle, but heard a light cooing about half way through, "Blu~" He heard. He quickly whipped aroung to see a little Swablu perched up in a tree staring at him, "Hey little guy, care for a battle or are you going to sleep?" The Swablu flew down directly at Arekku with a Fury Attack. "Whoa! Feisty!" He dodged out of the way of the attack. "I guess that means battle!" He tossed up Setten's pokeball, and the Magby came out, "Byyy!" Setten cried and attacked with a Fire Spin which caught the Swablu by surprise in the whirlwind of flame.
Swablu cried out loud and attacked with Take Down. Striking Setten causing a fair amount of damage to both pokemon, but Setten's ability Flame Body was activated, burning the foe Swablu, which was also hurt by the Fire Spin again. Setten attacked again with Ember, hurting the little bird which used it's recoil move again, hitting Setten. Arekku was a little nervous, the way the little pokemon looked it could be damaged a little further and still caught. "Setten, Smokescreen!" Srekku said in a hopefull strategy, luckily Swablu missed it's self damaging attack and was hurt by Fire Spin and burn again.
Arekku saw this as his chance, He pulled out his Color Ball and tossed it, hitting the pokemon with perfect accuracy. Inside went the pokemon,

''Wriggle,,
''Wriggle,,
.....Ding!
He only had four pokemon with him now so he had to go over and pick up the ball. "Well, one training battle down...three to go..."

Cody walked onto the beach with Feraligatr next to him. "I can't wait to start your training buddy!" he said, excited for the tank to arrive. The pokemon nodded, excited as well. Cody took off, runnng as fast as he could into the water. Feraligatr followed, roaring playfully behind him.

After his capture, two more pokemon came out of the bushes near the tree, a Machop and a Meditite. "Eh... Seems like a double battle." He smirks and tosses Kari and Shin's pokeballs. The Torchic and Baltoy look at eachother and at the opponent. Meditite begins things with Mind Reader seeming to watch Shin's every movement and Kari makes her move a Pech attack strikes Meditite, super effective. And Shin spins around a few times glowing a combination of Purple and black, Cosmic Power. Machop had waited for it's chance to strike Kari with a powerful Vital Throw. Knocking kari into a tree.
Meditite got into position and jumped up very high, Shin spun quickly out of the way but the movement was pointless, Meditite had already calulated that, it struck, forcing Shin bacwards some, it didn't do much damage because of Shin's psychic resistance. Kari on the other hand had ran up to Machop and used a close range Ember, scoring a critical hit, burning it, and making the Machop fall backwards in surprise. Shin sat perfectly still like a statue. but his eye lines went a very light blue and a surging psychic energy blasted it's way to strike and KO the enemy Meditite. Machop rushed Kari with a Revenge, almost fainting the Torchic. Machop was hurt by burn.
Arekku quickly pulled out his White Flute to play it for the Machop which was a very good thing, He pulled out his other special ball, the Shiny Ball. he tossed it, almost missing, but it struck and pulled in the pokemon in a bright red light.

......Ding!
The pokemon had been caught, Arekku went to pick up the ball and turned to try and find Burg.

Berg nodded at the impressive battling skills that Arekku held. His battles were short and sweet, meaning his Pokemon were well trained and of decent power.
Berg took some pointers from the battle he had just seen and put them to memory. It also gave him an idea for a new application to add to his Scouter for when he got home.

Arekku sighed, "I'm heading back so, I guess you gotta go to, eh? Sorry..." He released Aro, waited till Berg was on and lifted off, heading back to HQ.
Once back, he dropped Berg off said bye and left again. He had a few things to do.

Berg waved to Arekku as he took off.
That was an interesting training session.
Berg walked to his room and softly shut his door. He went to work on adding a video recorder and sound recorder to his Scouter. It did not take him much time to add on the parts and programs so within the next hour, he was ready to walk out again.
He couldn't sleep; he was thinking of Houndour, but he decided to lay down anyway and slowly bore himself to sleep.

tommy comes into the common room, and puts a note down on the table.
I will try to be in here as much as possible, but i wont be here most of the time. see ya sooner or later! tommy.
tommy went back up to his bedroom, where all his pokemon were sleeping around the egg he had recieved today. he quickly fell asleep, exausted.

Berg walked back into HQ messhall after having been woken up by Torch coming out of his ball and trying to escape.
He went out and sat at a table and started testing his newest additions to his Scouter as he thought about when he most recent solo-mission would be graded.

Dark wakes up and does his daily routine. He grabs himself a coffee and sits down in front of the computer in the main room. He turns it on and begins typing various things.

Going over the reports from last night's TRP, I notice a couple things that need saying.
"Okay, first up, whenever you catch a new pokemon, please make the appropriate posts in the Rank and Pokemon List thread. That way we'll add your new team member to the official roster.
"Second, and this affects Arekku directly today, what you're allowed to own is not the same as what you can catch on a TRP. Tier 4 members can't catch wild stage 1 pokemon during TRPs. Brian can, at his discretion, make an exception."
