Nyl. Your hands, they were burned before you tried to heal me wheren't they? You were thrown across the room by your atempt to heal me, that's what happened you took the full brunt of your healing atempt.

I mean what if the Ijutsu energy was thrown back on Nyl almost violently. Would that cause her to be thrown like that and be healed at the same time?

"No, for two reasons. First of all, because the throwing was a reaction of two things that both had little to do with what I was actually doing. And second because I can't heal myself." She shrugged. "That doesn't explain things to me, either, but I think I'm going to just live with it."

He fell silent, then turned his attention to the stove, pulling down a mug and hot cocoa mix. He filled the mug with milk, then held his hand over the top. Seconds later, a steaming, stirred cup of hot chocolate was waiting in Seph's hand, held out to Zyph.
"You're not even curious as to how you healed yourself?"

Might it have something to do with the resell value of my body parts, like my blood for longivity, and so on?

True but what if you could do it again under controled situations and without the throwing effect. Wouldn't that be useful?

He was somewhat taken aback, and it showed in one single motion. His head and shoulders all moved simultaniously back a few centimeters. He covered it quickly by making his way aimlessly around the kitchen.
"We're ninja, Zyph. Not vampires. No one here is out for your blood. I didn't even know your blood was running for a high price on the black market until you told me, now."

He had to keep himself from watching Nyl leave. "I thought I knew her pretty damn well." He said, a small amount of scorn in his voice. "Apparently, she's on a mission to prove me wrong." He took a deep breath and shook his head some. "Is anything else on your mind, Zyph?"

With dragon's blood you will never grow old...
*he pauses letting that sink in.* An infusion made from dragon's blood can stave off aging. Almost all parts of a dragon's body when used in the right potion or poultice can have near miraculous effects for medicine. And that's my dragon side alone. My point is what if, what happened to Nyl was related to that?

He nodded softly. "It might be. I don't want to ask for a sample of your blood, because that would severely reduce your ability to trust me. But I will start looking into it. I just don't know where to start with all of this.. I think I'm going to sleep on it. Goodnight, Zyph." He smiled once more, bowed, and headed to a couch to sleep.
