A flickering shadow drifted through the forest on silent paws as golden eyes reflected the fading moonlight, and white teeth flashed with every breath. A flicker and the shadow disappears behind a tree and emerges a man running with equal ease. Black ears and tail held back with every bounding step on backward bending knees. Arms flowing at his sides the figure enjoys the forest and runs with the feeling of elation granted by the scent of the forest. Dark thoughts are left behind as it weaves through the trees on silent feet, playing tag with the dawn breeze, and slowly accelerating in hopes of running from every care and thought he ever possessed. The figure runs without a care but slowly begins to slow, the darkness was thickening and not in a natural manner.
Sharp golden eyes slowly shifted form as first one, then another specialized eye lid slid aside revealing strangely colored eyes. The man's head turned slowly from one side to another taking in the world in a form he had not had reason to view for some time. Wolf sighed as the world became one of reds, oranges, and whites, before saying softly. This definitely doesn't bode well. I must admit I'm very curious about the source. Hmm, curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back. Why the hell not? With that Wolf began moving slowly towards what he assumed the source of the phenomena was. Animals and the earth usually had a good idea what wasn't natural and what could would flee the cause. So Wolf moved hoping to back track based on the displacement of animals, those that had frozen or were hidding themselves he sensed as well and moved gradually towards the highest source of fear he could sense.
Mother, protect your child and lead him forth to a place where he may witness that which threatens your children. As he spoke Wolf gradually became more and more focused on tracking down the source of the darkness. So long as it was gone within a day he didn't care how it happened, but he was inclined to at least see what was going on.

Alrighty then, have it your way...
Moving away from the girl slumped against the tree, Il looked back to see her stand, with some difficulty at first, but she appeared to be fine now. Smiling, she continued on her own path through the tree, calling back over her shoulder...
The name's Ilmryn, in case you're curious. You seem like a curious person. To me at least...
With that, she bounded of into the foliage, cursing as her jacket got snagged on a sapling. Giggling to herself, she unhooked the offending plant, and disappeared into the forest...

*Ceres licks her toxic lips as she looks around for easy prey. Like a viper she slinks down a tree and drops to the wet earth. Shaking her red curls dry she lets out a noise of discontentment. Dom has requested she move on to the next target but she had hardly seen any of her targets lately. Setting her hands on her hips her blood red eyes glow in the dark as she glances around.*

*Moments later, after opening the portal near D's ongoing battle, Yotsuba opened another one here in the forest, though back in the clearing where Focht had contained her in an orb. The portal seemed to appear from the dirt seeping through up to the top. Then just as the portal was disappearing it left behind Focht's body with a small black neko demon sitting on his chest. Yotsuba sat there for a few seconds before leaping off his chest onto the ground to transform back to her humanistic form. Once she finished that she turned and looked down at Focht and shook her head seeing just how badly he'd been injured*

Focht was laying there still in pretty bad shape thanks to D. Yotsuba had taken him away from the fight and it was up to her what happened next.

*She went over and knelt down next to him and let out another sigh. She didnt even really know him to well and look what he'd gone and gotten himself into. And here she was going after him to help him out, even though she didnt know he'd be hurt. She knew it'd probably be a long while before Focht could heal his own body and she knew how to heal for the most part. Though she couldnt heal herself the way she could heal others. Normaly when she healed herself she had to be unconcious and her body would take over just to keep herself alive. But in a case like this she was able to heal people and heal them well. But depending on the persons heart, meant how well her healing was. If the person's heart was black and cold, she couldnt heal them at all. Sadly they had to be good and not evil. She hated that sometimes, but it was something she lived with. She never really healed anyone anyway, what use was it to bring someone back that she didnt want back* "Focht . . . Explain to me why I should even help you out anymore then I already have?" *She said comepltely expecting an answer, then she remebered that he didnt respond before so why would he now. She sighed heavily and put her hands ontop of his chest gently. They glowed a warm red color and began to produce heat* "How about you tell me when I've healed you enough to talk? You'll owe me that atleast" *She spat as she shut her eyes and concentrated on her healing magik. The process was simple, the heat from her hands was just a transfer of energy from her body to his, along with anything else he might have needed to get himself up and moving again, but then there was the problem again, he'd have to be good in order to accept anything she'd give through her healing magik. Relatively it was up to his body and heart weather or not to accept what help she could offer*

Focht accepted what healing she offered. He slowly took a deep breath, his pulse picking back up to a more normal level. His fingers twitched alittle as his ears flattened completely. He was still in quite a bit of pain thanks to the damage done to his arm, side and the hole in him. Shifting alittle, trying to get alittle more comfortable but it didn't help much. With a groan, he opened his eyes and looked up at who was healing him.
".... uuuuh........ "
Blinking a few times his eyes couldn't seem to focus right just yet and the darkness wasn't helping.

*When she finally had nothing left she could lend him (healing-wise) She pulled her hands back and fell back a little onto her rump. She sat there and looked at him, he appeared a little better but it didnt appear to be much. Though it was good to see he could open his eyes now and make some noise. She seemed slightly relieved. She leaned herself back on her hands, and held herself up. She tilted her head back and looked up through the trees* "Are you going to be okay now Focht?"

"Depends.........."
He looked over at the sound of the voice, his ears twitching when he recognized it but remained flat for the most part. The hole where his kidney had party closed, that being the most threatening problem besides the lack of blood in his system. Thats where most of her energy had gone, but some of it was also spent repairing the damage D's blood had done. Focht tried to move his left hand and was only greeted with a wave of pain.
".... ouch............."

*Yotsy sat up again after hearing him actually speak for the first time since she'd broughten him back. She leaned over him a little to make sure he was still "with us". She couldnt help but laugh a little, he was terribly banged up and just a day or so before this she'd been the one in pain and he couldnt seem to do anything to help her. Not that she'd have accepted his help anyway. Then at the same time she sighed because this meant she couldnt dump buckets of cold water and fish on him for awhile* "Ya' know . . . You should really have yourself bandaged up, might stop some of the pain, Ya' know to add some pressure"

Focht smiled weakly at her.
"Well aren't you just full of surprises....... "
He winced alittle as his body begain to repair the internal damage. It was easy to see that he was starting to recover already but it would still take time. Straining, he tried to sit up, slowly winning the fight against gravity. Now if only his blood would win that fight alittle easier. He definitly wasn't supposed to be moving, getting up least of all. His movements were slow and clumsy, nothing like she had seen when they met before.

*She sighed heavily watching him sit up, she just kinda shook her head as she leaned back on her hands again and looked at him* "You trying to make things worse?" *She muttered in a smiteful tone, thinking about the fact that she just brought him back to the forest, healed him for the most part and now he was going to throw that all out the window by moving at a time like this. She tilted her head back up towards the trees and shut her eyes*

Focht closed his eyes and tried to hold himself together and get up, but the blood draining from his head made him too dizzy. He slumped back down to the ground and sighed. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon whether he liked it or not.
"Yotsy... can I ask you to tell me the truth about something?"
