Not bad, kid. Megumi twitched to the side, dodging the arrow. Not much chakra left. Better save that for a rainy day. Megumi leaped, jumping once again to get to the top of the trees. "So, do you want this to stay long distance, or are you going to try those magic hands on me?" Before waiting for an answer, Megumi flicked a senbon out of somewhere beneath his/her jacket. It was aimed at the hand Irihi used to draw. If he couldn't pull back on his bow string, he wouldn't be able to fire those arrows anymore. However, Megumi was not aiming to cause permanent damage, and so it would bypass the muscles and tendons, causing nothing but temporary pain.
Senbon: The senbon was first used by doctors in acupuncture, it was then adopted by ninja and Hunter-nins to hit points on the body to cause death, deaden limbs or cause their target to fall unconscious. Damage: 15 - 18 Range: 30 ft. Special: +1 to hit

Can't use chakra for a while... Irihi realized, wincing as needle-like pain shot throughout his whole body. Even without his Byakugan, his normal eyes saw the senbon coming but...he didn't have the strength left to dodge it. The senbon met its mark on his arm but at this point, Irihi didn't care. He couldn't even feel the pain thanks to the fact that around three hundred and sixty other places on his body hurt much, much more. Megumi-sensei seemed to get this funny idea that he mastered the Juuken Kempo already... But if she is going to be smug about...oh, she's wrong. Hell wrong. Irihi wasn't going down without a fight.
His right arm may be unuseable for the moment but his left was quite free. And last time Irihi checked, shinobi were expected to be ambidextrous in the usage of both hands. Three shurikens cut the air about a split second after his right arm was hit.

"You know, those would really hurt..." Megumi switched places with a nearby chunk of wood. He/she would run up to irihi, aiming two kicks at him one would be to upset his footing, the other would be to knock him down to the ground. "You didn't think that would work twice, did you?" Megumi smiled. He/she was glad that Irihi was using his strengths, but sometimes he would have to do things the harder way. If he ever got drawn into a melee battle, what would he do? If he didn't properly balance his strengths and weaknesses, he would end up dead. And if he kept resorting to desperate measures, although this time, there was no other way, he would end up just as dead.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Cp cost: 1 Damage: N/A Requirements: Must have something to replace with. Training days: Academy time. Special: Add chakra mod to dodge bonus. You cannot use this while in a defensive position.
Damage: Taijutsu: 15 - 28 Special: +3 to hit

Irihi merely ignored Lailah's indignant barks and endured the attacks. With his chakra unuseable for the moment, Juuken Kempo was useless. But within the breath of a second, two fingers rushed in for the pressure point at Megumi's neck. This boy's fighting spirit... While knowing that Juuken Kempo is useless without chakra...yet...in the hands of a clan who had studied anatomy inside and out...even their basic kempo was recognizably different from the other children's.
When a Genin squad first meets their Jounin teacher, the first thing they learn in the traditional bell exams is that it was impossible to snatch one from a Jounin, unless all three worked together. Irihi went into this spar well knowing that he would lose but his pride, the Hyuuga pride, refused to admit an easy defeat.
Irihi chuckled inwardly: it was so ironic for Megumi-sensei to assume that he, a halfblood, would've mastered the Juuken Kempo so early. Enough problems already lingered with Nyame breaking clan rules to teach him their general familial style secretly.
Yet Irihi hadn't wanted to learn, was not interested.
A shame that Lailah wasn't old enough for them to work together on unraveling the Inuzuka secrets... He may grudge Megumi for winning this time but he'll definitely beat her decisively the next time around.

It wouldn't be long now... Irihi did not know how much longer he could hold on but gradually, he was reaching closer and closer to his limit. Strength was quickly fading... Megumi had stopped using chakra-based attacks too and had taken to physical attacks, thus Irihi assumed he did a pretty good job draining her chakra reserves. Destroying the Kage Bunshins probably did the trick... But it appeared she knew very well that, as a side effect of so carelessly kempoing himself, Irihi's own ability to use chakra too was limited as of the moment.

Megumi had broken the line of sight with Irihi. He/she jumped down and put his/her back to a tree, performing the seals for inner decapitation. Irihi was on the ground again... This might work now. Let's hope it does, because I don't want to have to beat him with tai... It just doesn't feel right... Knocking your student out on the first day shouldn't be the way to start this. Megumi smiled at the thought as he/she began sinking into the earth.
Hide: (Dex) Use this skill to sink back into the shadows and move unseen, approach a guard post under cover of local scenery, or tail someone through the streets of a busy village without being noticed. The counter skill for hide is a spot, a successful spot check reveals the location the ninja is hiding. Using smoke bombs increase your hide check by + 6
DC: 1d20 + 14
DC: 24
Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu (Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Technique) After performing a series of hand seals and raising his chakra, the ninja is buried underground using his chakra. He can then move freely inside the ground, as if he was outside, due to the chakra which "makes way" for him/her. After the ninja feels he is below his opponent, he just raises his hand and grabs his opponent's feet, then buries him underground, leaving his head on the surface. This leaves a normal Shinobi open for a powerful attack, but a powerful one can use Chakra and raise himself up to the ground, preventing the attack. An experienced shinobi can also predict the attack, by sensing the opponent's chakra, so this move is really effective on younger ninjas, such as Genins or Chuunins. Cp cost: 6 Damage: N/A Requirements: Genin or higher rank. Must be trained to learn the jutsu, ie. you cannot learn it yourself. Training days: 5 days, 3 days with Earth Affinity Special: If caught, the Escape Artist DC is 50.

Even if he was tired...to use that same trick again...and right in front of his face too? Was Megumi pitying him? How undignified. Irihi knew very well that if he forced his Byakugan to resurface to search for Megumi's exact position, he would face...unpleasant pains both now and later. But he couldn't help the flicker of annoyance and indeed - though he knew perfectly of the consequences, Irihi formed the seals to force out his doujutsu.
Inside...it's bleeding... Quiet acknowledgement. But as Anzu-sama had warned, when the body takes a certain level of pain...the nervous system simply...stops sending the messages. Though Irihi knew very well this ensuing attack would not have effect thanks to the shielding earth... Simply to uncover Megumi from hiding: "Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu!" A giant fireball exploded over the earth.
Spot: 1d20 (9) + 22 = 31
Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique) Utilizing a high amount of chakra, a large ball of flame is exhaled from the user's mouth. Rank: C Cp cost: 30 Damage: 20 - 40 + chakra modifier. Reflex DC: 10 + Character level + chakra mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage. Requirements: Fire Affinity, Chakra 20+, Chakra Control 12 Training days: 7 days/ if Uchiha teaches you, 4 days Special: Uchihas learn this at young age. This does not mean that Uchiha starting out will have this jutsu.
But he shouldn't have done that... Internally, he was bleeding freely now. Irihi's gamble using Juuken Kempo on himself...though he had heard Nyame ponder the possibility...he had never done this before. And...perhaps to curse the Hyuuga precision, he had inflicted damage to all his tenketsu nodes. The basic Kempo form was weak but still...to attack all of the tenketsu nodes? It was something foolishly suicidal...
Without healing, it became pretty apparent each time he forcibly draws out chakra...he'll rip his chakra system even further. Nyame-sama is going to kill me when she finds out... Irihi thought grimly.

dodge.
Megumi felt the rush of heat and saw the leaves around him/her flying past... he/she rolled up the tree and jumped forward and then back, over the fireball, and towards Irihi. "Irihi! That's enough! You're not going to scar your system in a spar!" Megumi had landed holding a katana. Being as short as Megumi was, the katana wasn't terribly long, but this little jounin had proven how fast he/she was, and was more than capable of disabling Irihi with it without breaking a sweat. Megumi'd been holding back, playing with Irihi. If he's going to try to kill himself, then Megumi would have to get serious and stop him.

If there was one thing others often complained about the Hyuuga clan, it was probably their...natural stubbornness. But being unable to use seals now, though his firing arm was healed...Irihi didn't know one-handed Jutsus. It was clear that this spar was over. No, in fact...Irihi knew it was long over when he started.
As the familiar lines of his Byakugan disappeared, the boy open his mouth to growl an indignant 'he was giving it his best and that was all Megumi had to say...?' but the words never came out. Releasing his last hold on chakra also released all the pains active chakra control pretty much kept under check. Along with internal bleeding, half drained chakra reserves, and external damage... One gauntlet geared hand tightly gripped the tree bark for support. But it was apparent he reached normal limits a while back... Feeling quite faint, his grip loosened and Irihi lost chakra control over even his position on the tree branch.
Lailah let out a terrified bark as she watched her Master fall.

Megumi shuddered as he/she did what he/she had to do... Stabbing the katana into the ground, Megumi flung his/her- self forward, catching Irihi in mid-air. Landing softly, Megumi had to admit that it was awkward to carry such a large load, but he wasn't all that heavy... "Irihi? Are you still in there?" Look at that. The first day you have him, and you kill him. Shut up. I love our little get-togethers. We'll deal with you later. Megumi waited for a response from Irihi. Can't wait

It was faint, but a pulse was certainly there. Guess Irihi landed himself a check-in to the hospital. Brilliant. Absolutely...brilliant. Lailah let out a whine, pawing the ground in worry. She drew closer to the boy in the Jounin's arms... But the albino wolf pup seemed to calm down as she sniffed her master's motionless hand, comforted by still being able to catch the heartbeat as she gently laid her head against a gauntlet geared hand. She stomped the ground once in feigned impatience, before tugging lightly on Irihi's sleeve, as if asking Megumi to follow her. With that, Lailah began leading the way to the village hospital, with surprising speed for such a young wolf.
Perhaps she wouldn't be so bad a companion for the young Inuzuka after all... Perhaps unlike the clan dogs generally granted to the pureblooded Inuzukas but still a fine companion indeed.
