Throwing up his hands suddenly from frustration, Quint opened his eyes, only to look at the floor, it rumbling enough to force books off their shelves. With all the different points of pressure and breaks, it was nearly impossible for Quint to transmute them all - two new points would collapse right after fixing one.
Rolling out of a support beam's path, the shakes became even more violent, Quint tried yelling out to Dante, but Quint had a hard time hearing himself, the constant crashes and snaps were very loud.
"Forget him; If you died too, he'd win!"
Of course if Rioushu and Dante both died, Quint would win, but that'd be dumb to say aloud, even if he thought no one could hear.
A little more worried than usual about his own safety, Quint used the small squad of bats to form a pair of skates. However, these weren't going to be used for his feet, but rather his shins. They latched themselves onto his pants, and with mental instruction, began to spin, causing Quint to move forward. Quickly he reached Dante and Rioushu, but didn't get in their way. He simply pointed to a rather sharp looking piece of falling wood above, it splintered nicely into a deadly spike. Quint would be well out of the way in a couple of moments, but he felt that sometimes it was best to teach things the 'soft' way.

Rioushu was too busy focusing on where he ended up, and the fact that he could barely stand, definitely too much for him to focus on and to pay attention to Dante, who hadn't been any trouble for him so far, to come up and blind side him like he did. He was completely off guard when he felt his left knee give in, only to see Dante above him as he fell back. However, like any decent ninja he wasn't unprepared for long, until that is, he saw the falling death log.
"Doton Shinjuu Zanshuu no Jutsu!" Rioushu yelled quickly, his body moving underground, though before he did, two things happened. One, he didn't manage to completely avoid the contact between Dante's elbow and his throat, so he had to hold his mouth and throat to keep from coughing underground. Two, he managed to grab one of Dante's legs as he moved down, though he didn't take Dante all the way into the ground, instead had the idea to leave him on the surface waist up, let the falling death log do Rio's work for him. As soon as these two things happened, he started getting the hell outta there.

Well, that soon turned to chaos.
*Outside, Roan and Yoh still sat on the kerb, the latter smoking casually, raising but a single hand to deflect any wayward debris that came towards teh pair, flashes of electric crackling over her now and again as she closed her eyes, totally relaxed*
A lesson learned then Elf. Once you accept and attain power, you MUST control it, and through that, yourself. I dunno.... wanton destruction is kind of pretty... Only from the outside. Once you let yourself slip, you lose your way and maintaining ones allies becomes impossible. So... we going in? Nope. What? Why not? Because I am not that kind of hunter. Why chase the buffalo when by waiting, you can make it come to you? This is not our fight, but this IS where we should be right now. Use your Infinitas Yoachi.
*Nodding, Yoachi closed his eyes. The twin serpent markings on his neck came to life, the large serpents sliding from his flesh and hissing madly as they curled around their master, granting him sight beyond sight. What he saw... made him smirk all the more*
Looks like you arent the only one of your kind in town, Mistress... Of course not. But are you going ot be stupid enough to wager which of us is better at it? Never.
*Exhaling a smoke ring... Roan smiled*

Roan DeSeer Well, that soon turned to chaos. As if on cue, Gatz suddenly poofed into existence next to Roan, casually leaning against the deamon's shoulder as he materialized. "Hey there!" the entity said in a cheerful voice. "So, what's shakin'?"

You have about five seconds to get off me.
*The voice wasnt angry. Just matter of fact. A smoke ring drifted upwards, giving Roan's eyes an even more sinister look trhan usual as she stared ahead of herself through it, while Yoachi didnt even turn to look, though one of his serpents did.*
Like flies to a carcas... We ARE carcasses, Yoh. Heh heh.....

"Well, it seems almost everyone's gone... time to fix this, then."
Morrigan gathered her minions in front of her, reclaiming any that had been borrow from her for a moment.
Fix this, she ordered them, referring to the manor. Unfortunately, the only response she got back was a flurry of:
We can't. We can't. It's too much. We can't.
What do you mean, you can't? How dare you question me! DO IT! As soon as she had finished the thought, a large piece of wood slammed down right in front of her, as if proving their point.
... Alright, lets get out of here.
She ran back into her master bedroom and bolted out of the manor by flying off the balcony there... though as soon as she was out, she felt like she might have forgotten something.

((Partially destroyed, or utterly destroyed? If I had to take a rough guess, I'd go with five and two, for a grand total of seven. Though I get the feeling that might be low...)) Gatz leaned his head back against Roan's shoulder, considering it. "Hmm, I don't know... From the sound of it, things would become much more interesting if I stayed right here," he mused out loud. "Besides, don't you want to cuddle?" The sudden flutter of bats overhead caught the entity's attention, causing him to snap forward. Sliding away from the momentarily forgotten Roan, Gatz hopped to his feet and stood grinning at the sky, knowing what the familars' presence meant. Without a second though he jumped into the air and intercepted Morrigan, lazily hovering beside her. "Well hello there," he said warmly. "It's been so long, I wasn't sure you were coming back this time." The chaotic being frowned and shook his finger at the succubus. "And as for taking off in the middle of our fight--that was just plain rude of you, Morrigan."

A smirk graced Dante’s lips as he felt his elbow connect with Rio as he had intended. However, had the situation not been so dire what with all of the falling debris, he would have broken into all out laughter at Rio’s response. The simple fact that someone as bullheaded as Rio would use such a technique to not only dodge an attack but to flee from the battle itself entirely was akin to an admittance of defeat in Dante’s eyes. This was, of course, despite the fact that there was a spire of wood bearing down on them; a fact that Dante was not aware of since he was too concentrated on the short-lived fight to see Quint’s warning.
Even as Dante now found himself embedded in the flooring, which seemed to have been a little ‘surprise ending; that Rio had snuck onto the end of his retreat, he was unaware of the imminent danger. In almost comical fashion, the spike plunged into the floor mere centimeters from Dante, who’s only response was to stare with widened eyes at the object that had previously been a support beam. Yes, that’s right. Had Rio simply left Dante where he was, he would have certainly died. But in Rio’s hurry to secure Dante’s demise, he unwittingly saved his attacker.
After a rather simple shrug, Dante placed both of his gloved hands flat on the un-spiked edge of the wooden beam. His muscles strained as he struggled to use the leverage to pry himself from the flooring. For the first few seconds, it appeared that he was making no progress in his escape, but it wasn’t long after that that the floor boards creaked under the strain he was putting on them and broke away easily. From there, it was just a simple matter of lifting himself from the hole and securing his feet upon a more solid section of ground.
With a casual glance upwards, he saw Morrigan leaving with her bats. As she had safely escaped, there was really no reason to remain within the building any longer. He ran through the falling debris with his arms crossed and held above his head for protection, not even stopping when he reached the front doors to the mansion. With his current velocity, his body easily turned said front doors into little more than a pile of toothpicks as he recklessly broke through. He hit the ground in a roll, spinning himself around in the process so that when he stopped moving he was now facing the collapsing building.

*As Gatz removed himself from her, Roan didnt care if it was voluntary or by distractiopn - the point was, he was no longer invading her personal space. Personal space which could, admittedly, extend up to a ten mile radius on a bad day... As Dante came out of the fast collapsing building, Roan removed her cancer stick from her ruby lips and breathed out slowly, a ring of smoke spiralling upwards as Yoh darted out of Dante's path, his twin serpents latching onto Dante's rolling form to leer at him from each shoulder as their master recovered himself. For her part... Raon spoke with her usual clearly pronounced British boredom*
Greetings Dante. Trouble at mill?

Quint, having seen Dante's rather brute exit and realize that he was the only one left, skated ahead, exiting through the large hole at the mansion's front. He would turn to eye the collapse like a spectator during demolition day, but first -- no..he wouldn't. Roan's appearance was questionable, but Quint wasn't going to be the one to query.
Still on his shins, Quint moved himself to a patch of grass underneath a tree, straining with his arms to get his back to the trunk. Stretching his legs out front, Quint already found himself drifting, but his head bobbed up, bringing his attention to the doomed mansion and the pained impact from his head to tree.
