I may be getting the characters a little confused.
Let's start with a question and I'll give one answer. Who was Mitsuko with?
As for an answer. Most animals have heighten smell. He could smell someone else on Mitsuko.

Mistuko was with Malinois. Malinois went missing and wound up in the infirmary. Tervuren (the older brother) found out and followed the scent to Haiki and Mitsu's room.
Also, yes Mitsuko smells like someone else, but why would Haikimaru jump to the conclusion it was from something romantic? They could of just had dinner together or something.

Okay so my post wasn't incorrect.
Haikimaru is ruled by his emotion over his brains that the very moment. He's meet a fox to be head over heels in, but, still isn't as sure of himself. He is a jealous, egotistical idiot (Just like I created him). He isn't sure on what happened and fears the worst because of the scent he carries. Becasuse Terveuren and Malinios has brothers they smell similar and in his rage thought that it was Mal. So he doesn't know that it's a different person at the moment.

It's still my fault if you don't understand. I try experimenting with RPing a lot. This time I was going for what was in Haiki's mind over me looking in and writing. I got a few ways to fix it next time.
