Kris gaped at the smoke, holding tightly onto Paix as the aftershock hit. "Oh my god!" She looked over at Sunnie. "I'm fine, are you alright?"
Paix steadied himself and glanced at Vitesse. "I'm good, but are you okay?"

Ridley didn't say anything, unwilling to get into a conversation about Team Rocket-- he might accidentally reveal where his true loyalties lay. Besides, with Soulcrusher freaking out, he really couldn't think about much besides keeping from getting injured. He took Alastair's advice and turned the Tauros hard, and though Soulcrusher resisted he managed to get the beast to turn in a circle. It took a few times before the Tauros finally calmed down, and his tails were still whipping, eyes rolling. Ridley panted, glad that was over.
"Thanks for the advice," he told Alastair, nodding gratefully. "I really thought I was going to fall off for a minute there." Turning his attention back ahead, he pursed his lips and tried to be patient. All would become clear soon enough.

 As Fin slid out of the wagon, still clutching Caddie, she spotted the ominous column of black smoke, coming from the exact spot they were headed towards. The Rockets had to be behind this! What in the world were they doing, though? Everyone in the caravan seemed shaken up, and the Pokémon were spooked, but Team Rocket was getting away with something horrible while they sorted themselves out. There was nothing else for it – she started heading toward the scene of the crime. "Come on," she shouted back to the other trainers. "We've got to stop Team Rocket!"

Luna groaned and sat up from her crammed sleeping position on wagon six. It seemed that she had fallen asleep there while talking to Arin last night. "ChuChu, Albireo, did either of you make something explode AGAIN?" She asked her two pokemon while rubbing the drowzyness off her eyes.
ChuChu, wide awake already, shook her head and pulled on her trainer's shirt. She pointed to the mines now visible ahead of the trainers. "Raaaai! Raaaaaaaaaaaaai!"

Kira clung tightly to Adele, whimpering softly as the wagon finished rocking. "It was those bloody Rockets, wasn't it...." She looked up at Adele. Fuyuki snarled as the word 'Rocket' was mentioned. Oh, he had a bone to pick with those humans, and he's tare them limb from limb once he got his paws on them.

Lock's eyes widen at the explosion sound and sighed. "...what's next?" the sudden tug of the tauros stop suddenly made his head hit something. "ouch...."
Faraon groaned and just kept his head tucked against the idol trainer's lap.

The "fireworks display" hosted by Team Rocket was breathtaking, filling fluo with more awe for the organization. It brought her back to when she was in first grade and the teacher instructed all the kids to write about their heroes or people they looked up to. fluo couldn't think of anyone. and for the majority of her life she was without a figure to look up to. Seeing the debris and smoke she smiled. Perhaps was now a good sign as ever to join Team Rocket. Alas, her smile faltered. Perhaps her desire to join TR was just another passing fancy. She had a tendency to pick up things and drop them as soon as they bore her.

"Kader we need to do something." Carter looked down at Yero who nodded, "You stay here, we'll go check things out." His friend didn't have a pokemon after all and he was worried that something would happen to him. Without another word he had jumped from the wagon, Yero following suit. Flanking one side, he trotted up to where the Tauros were pulling the wagon forward. Here he could be poised for action.

He heard a familiar voice from inside the stalled wagon.
“Riza!! I’m not sure, there was an explosion. I think we’re at the mines, but I don’t know anything more. Are you alright? Is everyone in there alright?”
Trist was pawing the ground nervously, looking around as if he was expecting an attack.

Kali hopped out of the wagon when it stopped. "So...what happened?" There was still smoke...
Ziku jumped out and held onto her shoulder. The girl looked around. "Should we go check it out or stay here?" The Tauros looked better now, but what was going on?

Mis was luckily able to calm the Tauros and smiled a sshe jumped from atop the lead one. She walked to the wagon and peered inside at everyone in her wagon "You guys okay in here?"

 "Yeah, I'm fine Kris... kinda sore after falling, but I'm good." She rubbed her back at saying that. "Ouch... hey, let's go see what happened! Come on!!"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Vitesse said, "but then again I'm always fine." He couldn't help it - he had to throw in some sort of comment about his immense beauty somewhere.

Watching Carter jump from the wagon, Yero following close behind, Kader wasn't about to be left behind. They weren't going in there alone. He too moved from the wagon, slipping after them.
What could he say? He'd never been very good at following directions.

Angel yelped and huddled on the floor of the wagon as things seemed to blow up around everything. When her ears finnally stopped ringing, she looked around, and up. Aero was soaring in circles above the wagons, and rock bits were flying everywhere. Piney, she saw, was hurrying over to the base of the smoke pillar. Angel followed, with Aero diving to where the explosion happened as well.
