I'm here in Newfoundland now and living in residence. Honour and Laura (Laura is my roommates, Honour lives on the same floor as us and comes over all the time) are here.
I love it so far, seriously guys my advice to you, when you go to university LIVE IN RESIDENCE. It makes the year and you meet amazing people and you do things you normally couldn't. Like last night there was a huge party on campus and so my dorm room was full of people just coming in and out, chilling for a bit then going somewhere else. And you can go to different rooms and people just pop in and hang out throughout the day and it's amazing.
Oh and Adrian, sorry I didn't visit you at work, I worked that night and I didn't get your message until much later.
I love you all! <33

I love you all! <33 I don't think I would like living all on my own or with a stranger I don't know. Well I don't have that probly cause i'm going to take my classes online since it's in a different state (just have to go in person for finals and talk to the teachers and students online every so often). My school is in Mesa Arisona and I live in C.A. (it was one of few schools I found that thought Japanese, I want to be a translator). It doesn't start until January cause I missed the fall registration but I already order some books to start on until class starts. Soon I'll be a offical college student once again.

I love you all! <33 Maybe that's the way it is at your school, but not here. We just had a "hoe down," where we were supposed to meet people, and I didn't meet anyone. whee The chicken was pretty good though. 3nodding And I have met my roommates, which is nice. Ali's okay but he's hardly ever around, and Caleb and I are getting along like old friends. xd It's great. Buying food together, and we hung out over the weekend and watched all the Star Wars movies in order, eating ice cream sundays and drinking beer. Non alchoholic for me, of course... ninja But we didn't watch the last Star Wars movie, because I fell asleep. sweatdrop

I just left my dorm door open and people popped in. Or you say "Hi" to your neighbors, or you pop into other people's dorms and start chatting with them or whatever. And I mean you meet people at the house parties and what-not as well which is awesome. I mean I don't drink and people around here are cool with that, just go and chill with them. I'm missing a party tonight but I just don't feel like going, but they don't care because I went to other stuff where-as people that don't do anything get labelled as kind of lame or whatever.

lol, everywhere I've been people don't really care if you don't participate. I mean, I never participated. xd
Now, with specific things, like as an actor in a play, I was sort of expected to hang out with the other people in the play. But in general, no one really cared.
And we weren't allowed to have our dorm room doors open. sad And now I live in an apartment, so it hardly matters.

Cyanna Love the new garb, McPhee. Power to the cat band! 3nodding Love the cat band.
But this current outfit is as close to monochrome I think I'll ever go.
Yellow is my most-often used color. heart

Probably no one can help me, but I'm going to try anyways. sweatdrop This is driving me mad. I can't think of the exact reference, but I think it's from a movie, and it's like it's on the tip of my tongue: The scene: A girl crying about her father who (I think?) left her mother when she was young, and she's like, "I hate him, but I miss him"
sweatdrop I know that's not much to go off of, but if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about I'd appreciate it.

I just figured it out, I had the gender wrong, it's "And I hate her, and I miss her," and it's from "The 10th Kingdom" (Which I -highly- suggest to everyone. 3nodding ) Kind of funny since I started thinking of the quote around the same time as I was looking at the imdb.com page for the movie. whee But I couldn't figure it out...
