Cyrus staggered farther into the room, the door closing behind him, he could hardly walk, not like this, the blood flow from his neck was slowing indeed, but not stoping, and he feared that the blood was only slowing because the blood pressure in his body was drastically falling due to blood loss.he couldn't understand why an injury on his neck as small as this could cause such blood loss, when he had woken in the forest he had already lost so much blood, he could feel it, but there was no blood around him, only what had just began to flow, and why would it bleed so easily, what had that killer done to him he asked himself. he saw a girl coming into the room, but he couldn't stand any more, he fell back, landing so he was just barely siting up. "...i....i'm sorry for intruding like this, i...arg"

Halco noticed a new scent in the manor a human....but it wasnt just a human, he could smell there blood so easily, even from the second floor, they had to be bleeding, and quiet profusely at that, he also notice another scent at the main hall, probably someone going to help him, until he went wide eyed, he knew exactly who it was "s**t, dusk" he busted out through his door, running down the hall at top speed, turning several corners, and arriving at the main stairs, he turn to them and jumped from the top of them, only just landing in a crouched position hen standing up "Dusk, stop, don't."

Halco smiled when dusk wrapped her arms around him "i told you it was ok as long as it was me that you bit, you just cant go after any humans, you wont be able to stop, not yet." he put his arms around dusk as well. when she bit down he flinched slightly at the initial wave of pain, then the pain faded.

Cyrus watched everything that happened, he could exactly hear anything they said, they were talking to quietly from to far across the room, the only thing he had heard was the man saying to the woman not to do something, then she bit him....he was now beyond confused and scared "what the hell is wrong with you people...Arg" he said, as he clenched at his injury harder. he reached fro his pistol, pulling out a .45 with a light attachment, pointing at the two of them, hand shaking from blood loss. "stay away from me, i'm a cop, i'll shoot i swear."

Halco noticed the man's words along with the gun, he then turned himself and dusk so that the gun was pointed at his back, effectively shielding dusk from the gun.

Cyrus tried to scoot himself back, only getting a few feet, and only leaving a bit of blood on the floor. still pointing the gun at the mans back "better die that be tortured, you....bit him...drank his blood, whats wrong with you, and what the hell are you talking about, effects setting in." he pulled his hand away from his neck, the blood still flowing lightly "s**t" he pulled off his helmet and goggles then removed his face mask, which in turn made it possible to get to his injury on his neck. all he thought was stop the bleeding, then looking at his gun he pointed it behind him towards the door and fired repeatedly. he looked back at the gun, parts now hot, searing infact. he pressed it onto his wound, burning his flesh, cauterizing the wound "ok, there now i wont bleed to death, just....explain"

Halco kept his back to the officer, he didn't want anything to happen to dusk, even if that gun wouldn't kill her, it certainly wouldn't feel good. "just put down your gun, were not going to hurt you, jeez, your an officer, and you break into our house, then point a gun at us, then you have the nerve to ask whats wrong with 'you people' i mean how bad can you get."

Cyrus sighed, "i jump to conclusions because doing so in a situation like this keeps you alive longer, better than underestimating the situation and end up your little snack." he holstered his gun "but like this, if you wanted me dead, i probably wouldn't live much longer anyway." when she said he had sealed his own fate he gave her an odd look "what the hell are you talking about, sealed my own fate my a**, i just stoped the bleeding, thats going to keep me alive, you know, a good thing." when she asked if he was bitten he got even more confused "all i know is i was commanding my SWAT unit, i went in to do my job, then i blacked out, and woke up in those damned woods outside, i had lost a lot of blood, but...there wasn't any on the ground around me, i figured i was moved from the area where i bled out, and by more of u i assume you mean sickos"

Halco lightened up when the officer put down his gun, but he didn't bother moving, he noticed that this position was making things easier for dusk. "....eh....dusk maybe i'm just gonna let you explain, i'm no good at this, i'll be to easy on him, your the blunt one"

Cyrus thought and contemplated, he took out his gun once more then put it to his own head nonchalantly "well if what you say is true, i'm gonna become some blood sucking freak, that has to kill people to live, i think i might rather die a human." then he put the gun down "but, if your lying or just insane, i'm gonna die anyway, and if it does turn out you were right i could always try out this little vampire thing and then end it there before i start killing people."

Halco laughed a little when the man called them freaks "you know, you really need to learn to asses your situation then decide how your going to talk to people."

Cyrus sighed "if i wanted myself dead, and this didnt work, i'd cut my own head off, i dont care what you are, if i cut your head off you cant possibly live, maybe a bullet to the head you'd be ok, but not if it was cut clear off." he hit his hand on the ground hard "well i'll be damned, little biter has jokes" when he saw the ice and the figurine "well.....nice trick....interesting indeed, but not proof, I've seen plenty of tricks just like it, and many others not like it, when your in my, rather obvious, line of work, you see a lot of thing." when she said they had other sources he laughed "what, him, eachother, yeah sure, but that cant possibly work forever, if you did, atleast one of you would have to feed off something else."

Halco sighed, holding out his hand, flames overtook it, then in a flash it turned into a black fire, and took the shape of a knife, then it solidified. he threw the knife backwards from him, it landed between the officers legs, cutting into the floor, then disappeared, leaving a cut into the ground and scorch marks along with it "is that a good enough trick."

Cyrus smirked "what am i getting annoying, well seeing as the situation im in...yeah im gonna be annoying, it's normal for humans to try and rationalize these things, im no fool i realize thats all im doing here, but i dont really care either way, if i choose not to live i'll find a way, otherwise i'll deal with my situation as it happens, it's what i'm trained to do." he grabbed at his neck in a sudden jolt of pain grunting painfully as the blood veins around his bite wounds seemed to become discolored, grayish, he was dying alright, but, not from blood loss, the grey blood veins seemed to spread at a steady but mid speed passe. he laughed "well ******** me, this is it huh, guess i'll get to make jokes about the other side from the other side now wont i."

Halco only shook his head "now dear if i had intended to hit him we wouldn't be talking to him any more." he let go of dusk when the man grabbed at his neck, he could smell the change happening, he turned around and walked over to the man. "right now, im the only one in this room that has gone through this change before, dusk over there was born into this, but let me tell you a little secret, your going to have one hell of a painful night, and maybe even more, me personally, i was really young, it took me 3 days to fully change, it was, sadly, probably worse for me than it will be for you."

Cyrus grunted in pain then looked up at halco, and in a pained voice "so what exactly is going to happen to me during this change."

Halco looked away from the man after his question, remembering what had happened to him. "you really don't want to know." his eyes moved over slightly glancing at dusk, he didnt want to describe what had happend to him with her around.

Cyrus was in to much pain to notice anything about the boys feelings for the girl and again spoke up in a pained voice "yes, i do, please, just tell me."

Halco sighed, looking back to the man once more. "if you insist, but knowing is just going to make things worse on your mind...what is left of your human blood will boil away inside your veins, you will die cell by cell, every muscle and fiber in your body will tear itself apart feeling as if your flesh was ripped from your bones, just to rebuild once again with new vampiric strength. the fangs arnt much fun either, usually you cant feel with your teeth....but the way they change...and your eyes...you'll have a massive headache and your eyes feel as if they are throbbing in your skull." he sighed once more "descriptive enough for you? good i thought so, now lets get you to a bed or atleast a couch somewhere before you cant move, it takes a little while for the muscles thing but not that long ." he offered out his hand to help the man up.

Cyrus cringed at the change he was to undergo, then taking the boys hand and being hauled up with his arm over his shoulders. he saw a couch near by and just directed halco to take him there, that was good enough for him. after lying down on the couch he smiled "thanks"
