"Sub-Atomic Barriers have been breached, it's as if they are having no effect at all!"
Hildegarde had been working with the defense team with everything went down. "Transfer power from the laboratory, increase output to the barriers. Also, contact the evacuation team, tell them to commence Evacuation routine 13 Doors. I'm going in" She placed her hands on the main console, and focused her power into enhancing the barrier. She knew that her magic would not be nearly as effective as Xiaeriene's, but she had to try. "M'Lady....give me the power to protect....your legacy" She grunted with pain as she linked with the system, and unleashed the power of Gamaru to magically reinforce the barriers.
Xiaedessa closed her phone and turned to the others "That was Reenie, she and Nergal are on their way. Koori and the elementals are too. We are going to hold a meeting inside the shoppe here, to deal with the current situation involving Kyosuke" She turned to Brutus "I'll go get us a private room" She turned and went inside, a grim expression on her face.
Stephanie frowned, but kept her cool as she kept position next to her father "Idiots, they don't even realize there is a spy in their midst"
Annabeth looked on with interest as Okako left "Her mind seemed, like, at the mall or something." She pulled out err cell as it rang, and answered "Like, hello? Huh? But! Um, like, I guess....yeah, alright, I understand. Yes Daddy, I'm heading over there right now" She put her phone back into her purse and frowned as she turned to the others "Like, what a bummer. My parents, like, want me over at that Candy place down the road right now. Something about a meeting with, like, allies and war and stuff. Totally far out. Like, apologies, I have to go. You guys can come with me if you want"

((Nova cannons are made for taking out ships with void shielding. The only thing really capable of matching it is using the Vortex missiles in a defensive fashion. That is to detonate them in the path of the nova cannon and suck the blats into the black holes created by the vortex missiles. The battleships are armed with them as well.))
"Return fire with one quarter of our orbital defense batteries in range of the enemy ships." Satsujin ordered. "But ma'am... only a quarter? shouldn't we open fire with all?" "If we use all of them they'll destroy all of them." "Yes ma'am..." She doesn't care if our homes are destroyed! ******** her orders. I'm going to make sure we destroy those bastards! The gunnery officer ran down the hall to relay the slightly altered order. Soon after all batteries that were in range opened fire. The bunker shook as the cannon but 500 meters away fired. What the hell was that? "Ma'am this base's rail gun just fired along with all of the batteries that were in range." "Son of a b***h." Satsujin melded into the bunkers frame work and caught up with the gunnery officer.
The void shields on Kyosuke's ships took the full force of the volley, not even scratching the hulls. "Plot those positions and relay that information to the gunnery crews. Target them with the Nova Cannons to be sure they're destroyed."
Satsujin appeared out of the wall behind him and readied her photon pistol. After calling his name the man turned and was executed with a single shot to he head. "Cease fire on all of the batteries that haven't fired." She made her way back to the command room. After arriving she was bombarded by reports of shielded cannons going offline. "Open coms channel to the the remaining bases." After three minutes the job was done. "It's done, ma'am." "Attention all remaining personnel evacuate your O.B. bases immediately. The enemy is systematically destroying them. Shields are not holding. I repeat evacuate your bases." The alarm in her base sounded and the personnel began filing out into the vehicles waiting outside and began evacuating.
Kouri called Okako. "What? Are you serious?! But I... Fine..." Soon after her cell phone began to ring once more. She picked it up. "I know... It's okay. Maybe after? I'll see you there. Bye." She hung up and turned around gloomily heading back for the candy store.
Shizue sighed as she hung up. "Man... This day, really can't get much worse." She complained as she left the house. Her maids bowing as she left. She met up with Kouri and company about half way. Kouri whistled at her. "Looking good Shizue. Were you getting ready to go somewhere?" "Yeah..." She said exasperatedly. "You all right?" "Just been a bad day."

Jagen hung up with his grand daughter and returned his immediate attention towards the chaos unleashing on the Black Star Nation. "Open a secured comm line to the rest of the commanders. I have vital information I need to pass on." An attendant nodded without word and went to work. Within a few moments, a comm link was established at each of the heads of the Black Star Nations command posts. "I've received word from our... friends on Earth. It would seem that they're working out a way to deal with this threat that we're facing now. I propose we send a couple representatives to pass along what we know so we can form a temporary alliance in order to deal with this foe hastily."

"Sadly, it's about to get worse." Asuka sighed as she hung up her phone. "It would seem that the Black Star Nation is under attack as we speak. I've convinced my grand-father to try and talk them into sending someone to talk with us."
Elise couldn't help but tense up at the mentioning of the raid.

"That couldn't have come at a worse time." Kouri said shaking her head. "I didn't think they'd have enough troops for that yet. If they were waiting 6 days to attack a planet that's technologically weaker than the Black Stars then they must want an absolute domination."
Shizue nodded in agreement.

Elliott entered the cafe with Gentleman Rogue "Well, it seems that I may be late. Everyone, the Nation has agreed to cooperate with you all in the fight against the denizens of Chaos. Unfortunately, they are attacking the Nation as we speak, and I daresay our defenses will not be enough to combat them." He froze as Odio entered from the back with Cambyses, the two of them hauling a large cart that was filled with confections for the shelves. "My....my son....but it can't...." He turned to Koori and Xiaedessa with an expression of disdain "You told me that those two were consumed by the Chaos gate! I had given up all hope of ever seeing my son again!"
Odio walked over to the group as Cambyses began stocking the back shelf "Um, excuse me, but Summer will be out shortly to take everyone's order. I hope you'll excuse the delay" He smiled nervously, and went over to assist Cam.

This is perfect, it's all coming together now. One shot should be all I need. Gentleman Rogue reached into his coat, and grabbed a silver pistol.
"Yes this is what it looks like. I'm sorry but I have a contract to fulfill and a paycheck to collect." Rogue laughed.

Summer came out just in time to be grabbed by Rogue. Xiaedessa looked to him incredulously as he pressed the pistol against her throat, summoning her blade "What the....just what kind of hired gun are you!? Let the girl go, if you want to li...." He never had a chance to finish, as Odio had run over and attempted to yank the gun away. Cambyses froze as Odio took a bullet to the face, and the entire place was engulfed in a flash of silver light. As it subsided, Cam stood there clad in a cloak of silver, and Odio was nude, his skin now giving off a silvery-white glow. Odio was holding the man up by the back of his neck, and Cam placed his open palm over the man's face, his expression emotionless. "Your existence is forfeit" He grinned as Gentleman Rogue faded away into nothingness. He turned his icy gaze upon the others, Odio squatting as his side like a faithful watchdog. "The forfeiture of existence is nigh. By the blackened heart of the Prince of Chaos, the Pillars will revert to originality, and give way to the finale of The Silver End"

Upon it's conclusion Shizue shook her head. "What was all that about? What do you two know?"

Cambyses grinned "Amusing. Till we next cross paths" He climbed up onto Odio's back, and the two faded away. Guraha turned to Koori with a bewildered expression "What the hell was that? Those kids *snort* from six years ago, but now they are here. But they just disappeared *snort* and they seem to be bad guys? Damnit, this is all so confusing!"
Xiaedessa looked on with concern "He mentioned the Prince of Chaos, do you think he meant Kyosuke? And again with the 'Silver End'....this is indeed becoming more complicated"

"Really? You're really asking me? I knew you were stupid Guraha, but this takes the cake. Do you honestly think I know? Stop thinking I know everything. What do I look like, God?" She sat down, steaming in a rage.
"Calm down mom. Jeez. He's too stupid to understand that you don't know what's going on. Don't be upset at my poor retarded teacher." Okako sniped sarcastically as she walked into the cafe. Koori placed her hands over her face. She would have been better off being homeschooled... She thought to herself.
Okako moved over to Shizue's side. "I'm sorry." Shizue whispered quietly. "I know it's not your fault. Maybe we can still go after this?" Okako whispered is reply. "Depends on how long it lasts." Shizue replied is a depressed whisper followed by a sigh.

Xiaeriene sighed, holding Nergal's hand as he placed in on her shoulder. "In any case, it looks as if we have a rough week ahead of us. The children may not like it, but we need to push their limits; they won't have the option of dodging out when the times comes."
Guraha grumbled at Koori's comment, but shrugged it off "Yeah, *snort* I don't plan on goin' easy on them kids neither. I'm gonna *snort* have to give em hell fer the next few days"
Stephanie rolled her eyes "Yeah right, Pops, like a weakling like you can teach us anything useful"

"I agree." Koori said sternly; bluntly. "This is a combat situation. They need to be trained and armed to fight a war. A few elite fighters wont be saving us from destruction this time. If they're laying siege and invading Mars, a planet with a greater technological advances than our own, we're going to have trouble defending ourselves. Think of the number of troops required to take an entire planet. Do you think any of us could stop them? Specially when we don't even know what they're equipped with."
"Crest has just begun branching out into a Private Military Company. I can start having our untrained forces trained immediately. But unless the entire world joins we won't stand a chance." Shizue added. "Kyosuke knows how the world militaries work and what they'll resort to when we try to retaliate. He'll no doubt bring special forces to strike immediately at our nuclear weapons caches."
Okako listened quietly pondering how someone she heard so much good about could do something like this.
