So I don't know if any of you guys had heard about this little girl Nadia Bloom, but she went missing Friday about 15 minutes from our area. She is 11 and mildly autistic. But she was found today and alive, she had been lost in some swampy woods.
But my family was so excited to here about it because so often in cases like this, if the kids do get found they are dead. And she was mostly fine, except with a lot of bug bites.

Ah, true. Shitty parenting I guess. All the autistic kids I know are pretty well supervised.
Though they said mildly, which could mean just Aspergers. Those kids tend to be pretty well-functioning on their own. Then again, if she were well-functioning how could she have gotten so lost.
I thought you meant you had some guilt, that's why I was so confused.
@Cookie: You weren't allowed to go biking by yourself at 11?
