Wow, after looking over the new ranking system and everything, my character is so under powered that I might as well have people use him as target practice xD Time to back to the drawing board. I think I might scrap the thunder sword idea though (seeing as so many other people have that type of sword, and I was unaware of it)

I'd have to agree, after finding it, it is...somewhat, well, I can't find the right words without sounding insulting.
@Taigaa: Well, it should matter immensely! I have to go to sleep though, I'm supposed to get up early and go on a road trip, staying up this late is horrible. mad

Lightning and Fire are the two single-most over used elemental types I've ever seen.
It's funny because water is the most powerful force on the planet, yet people write it off a lot. It beats fire every time, reduces boulders to pebbles, can move houses, shapes canyons, and lightning can't do anything to it, so to speak. Except charge it, but a water user could just get rid of the charged water, or use it on the opponent anyway.
xd
@Hiraka: Well it doesn't! scream

Personally, small powers are best. Having something minor, like only the ability to kick really hard, can be used in so many ways. I am always more impressed by people with small powers, but still managed to create powerful characters due to the creative ways they use their powers.

I agree, but I find obscure powers that can be classified as elementals as the most fun to use. I say "can be" like that because they could also not be classified. For example, Hei's Shouhi doesn't need an element, it's simply a Zanpakuto based on consumption and suppression. I chose to give a dark alignment just 'cuz. blaugh

@Taigaa: Right. I think I did the same with my character's Zanpakutou. I enjoy taking a tiny bit of an element and twisting it in some fun way, like being able to use one's own shadow as a weapon. Ooh, I just had a great idea for a character... Too bad I already have one. '-_-
