It's all about Japanese. Since they are the folks who brought us Tales of Symphonia.
Yeah!!! But... Japanese is confusing too... i think i'll just stick to English, i'm pretty good at that... Might be because i AM English, but still...

I speak American. Yes, technically it's "English" but we've changed it so much it just isn't the same, especially us southern folk. xd

I speak the queen's English... Just... alot more common! But there ain't nout wrong with dat! xd

I'm pretty good at understanding accents most of the time, but southern U.S. accents confuse me. >.>;

Depends on how deep south you're talkin'. Most of us just let go of our vowels and drop our G's. But then there's the people from places like Louissiana (sp?) who speak like, "Oh mah! I dinin' thank i' was tha' way!?"

Anyone care to try n' translate that? blaugh

What I hate is when books write in accents and you have to struggle to read what everyone's saying..... so tedious.....

Yeah. It's fine in moderation, if it's mostly just the occasional local expression thrown in, but when they insist on spelling everything phonetically? Eurgh.

I had a horrible time with The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 7th grade.... bad memories. Great Expatations is what we have to read for shcool now. It's also kinda bad about accenting people's speech.

For somethings, though, like characters from another country, it makes sense... I mean, not everyone speaks 'perfect' English. (If there is such a thing ninja )

All-time greatest offender for over-accenting stuff? Brian Jacques''s Redwall series. Seriously.

Yeah, I don't have a problem when it's in moderation, but, when almost every time a person speaks, you need to translate it.....

Oh Martel! The moles!!! The moles from Redwall!!! *dies*
