“Don’t understand what they’re capable of? Pfft…” Alastair waved off Ridley’s words with one hand. “I only need to understand one thing about Team Rocket. They don’t see things the same way as other people, mainly in that they see other people---and pokémon---as things. That’s really all you need to know.” Besides, he had past… interaction with the Rockets.
Well, damnit. Looked like Alastair had spoken too soon. His tauros, terrified by the sudden earthquake, attempted to rear. It took all of Alastair’s strength to keep the pokémon’s head down, so he could do anything too… drastic. During the aftershocks, he simply clung to the creature, trying to keep it from spooking. At least he had lots of experience with keeping riding pokémon from spooking while someone was on their back... he knew most of the others didn’t have that kind of experience.
And the smoke, that pillar of black smoke… that didn’t look good. The tauros stamped his hooves impatiently, tossing his head as Alastair watched the smoke climb into the sky.
“Ridley! Turn your tauros into a tight circle,” he advised, noticing that the other trainer was having a bit of difficulty with his tauros. “They can’t buck or rear if you turn them in a tight circle.”

Clinging to Trist as best he could without impaling himself on the spikes, he felt the ground buckle and Trist snorted and galloped around, coming back to the wagon after a moment, still shaken and unsure.
“What the heck was that?!”

 A rather loud sound, almost like an explosion, caught the idol's ears. Still petting Faraon, she looked up and tried to look out of the wagon, but she couldn't see from where they were at what happened.
Chuckling a bit, she pointed out "See, I knew something would happen!" This was Team Rocket that they were dealing with. They always seemed to have something up their sleeves.

As soon as the large explosion happened, Arin was grabbing onto Hush and parts of the wagon, trying not to fall out as the aftershocks shook the wagons and their riders.
"What the heck?!" Arin screamed and kept her arm wrapped around Hush tightly, not daring to let her pokemon get injured. After the wagons had stopped moving, Arin peered around the edge of the wagon. She spotted the large column of smoke and her eyes went wide. Were the rockets behind this?

 The ride had been going so well...so well that the explosion had caught both Cassadaine and Mattress off guard. As the smoke began billowing out, the tauros bellowed in fright and Cassadaine tightened her grip on the reins and turned the tauros slightly to one side to prevent it from bucking. Heaven knew she couldn't afford to get both her and Lamen bucked off the bull pokemon. "Whoa boy, calm down. It's alright...Calm down." she said patting the snorting tauros on the neck.
Her eyes were narrowed as she stared in the direction the smoke had come from. Just what was going on in there? She wasn't a rocket and by the gods she wasn't ever planning on being one, but that explosion had piqued her curiousity. Greatly.

"Eek!" Leta squeaked, shrinking down into the wagon, "What on earth was that?" She asked, frantic once more. "We should, uh, we should stay here I think, it's too dangerous over there." She was shaking, "No no, we have to stop the Rockets though! I'd bet that they caused that, no doubt about it! But, what if they didn't? Oh, I just don't know what to do!" She looked around, and decided to simply do what ever the rest of her wagon wanted to do.
"Oh, um, I don't know much about Tauros, but they can go very fast if properly motivated." She said with a nod, though her voice was still noticeably shaky. "A good swat on the rear might do it, but it could be dangerous too... Oh I'm just no help at all, am I?" She sighed and shook her head, her eyes fixed on the area that the explosion had come from.

 "Aww, well that's good - AAAAHHHHH!!" Sunnie said as the shockwave hit her, making her fall right off of Vitesse's back. "Owwww...! That hurt!" she said, standing up and brushing herself off. "Hey Kris, you okay?"
"ERGH! That was rough!!" Vitesse said as he was hit. He let Sunnie hop back up on his back, and shouted to Paix. "Hey um, you okay?"

Right, right… Con ought to eat, to at least keep up his strength. With a sigh, he accepted the sandwich, smelling the sweet savory scent of ham. Mmm… delicious pork products… it promptly dropped on the ground, however, as soon as that thunder-like roar had ripped through the sky. Con glanced up, seeing the black column rising in the sky. Something had happened at their destination, and he doubted it would be good.
And, even more importantly, he knew that other pokémon near the destination would spook. And they would come running this way.

Clutching his head, Zen was knocked back into the wagon wall again, but this time by the aftershock of the explosion. If this didn't stop soon, he'd end up fainting due to head injury. And that didn;t seem like a nice prospect.
"Arceus, why me?" He groaned, clutching his head. This really sucked. And it didn't help that all the panicking was giving him more of a headache.

 At the loud sound that apparently shook every one up, Aimi sat straight up, magenta eyes wide. What in the heck was going on? And damn it, why did it have to ruin such a perfect dream?! Sighing heavily, the blonde watcher moved to get a closer look- Well until a note fell to the floor and she picked it up. So Kader went to ride with his friend in wagon one, eh? Well at least he had left her a note.

As soon as Piney had just begun to settle down, a thunderous explosion followed by a mini-earthquake made her flew off the wagon, along with her Pokemon. Her first instinct was to get up and start panic, but not only would that be pathetic, debris was flying everywhere and she would be bonked on the head if she stood up now.
When everything seemed to have calmed down slightly, the officer got up and glanced towards the source of the explosions. It looked like the Rockets had gotten word that they were moving, somehow, and blew up something to halt them.
That wasn't going to stop Piney though! With adrenaline pulsing through her veins, she along with Daybreak and Era rushed over to the site of the commotion.

The treats were forgotten, Kader gently moving Yero from his lap to lean out the back of the wagon a bit and look around. Ahead of them, he saw the thick cloud of smoke trailing into the sky. They just had to get there.
"I hope they weren't blasting debris into the road to slow us down..." he stated aloud.

Mis was able to slightly calm the Tauros, her hushing words had soothed him a bit. After enough talking she yanked back on the reigns bringing all of wagon five to a complete and abrupt halt. The Tauros still stammered a bit with a few huffs and stomps but for the most part her wagon was fine, and hopefully everyone inside was okay as well.

Oh crap, an explosion? This was not good. Team Rocket had a weird way of screwing with the trainers.
"Zeph, let's go check things out shall we?"
If given the option, Reiley would happily venture towards wherever Team Rocket was and take them down.

She jumped at the rumbling, and started wondering what the heck had happened! Was this the Rockets.....?
She was going to take a look when someone asked if everyone was alright, and was completely surprised, "A-Arashi! What's going on?!"
The wagon suddenly stopped, so she took the chance to jump out of it and look around. What was happening here...?
