Matachi smirks as he too finds one of the blunter swords for the fact his in a spar are not the safest to use. Soon enough finds one and brings it back over in front of her. Slowly he bows before going straight into his stance "Come on lets see what you can do with a sword." He says playfully.

Katherine smiled as she was in stance she moved in carefuly. She okay with a sword, not the best but passable. Her foot work was good better than most and she was quick, but she didn't have the strength behinde any of her blows. She came in from the side at a angle that was from right to left and down to up. After the swing the sword would come back ready to defend her body.

Matachi slides his sword up his body as the angled slice comes up. The swords clash creating a racket of a noise as they hit and somewhat spark slightly. Locking his sword parallel to the ground in his left hand he jabs forward aimed at her chest area with enough control be able to stop if she missed the block.

Katherine instictively moved back useing her immortal grace to her advantage. Then she comes back in with a fluid motion as his sword became out of range she hit his sword in a high arch and slid the blade up it until it might touch his clothing.

(( JUst finished my last scholarship paper so I can post more now sorry razz ))
Matachi dips his whole body down, catching himself with his right hand while keeping the sword up with his left. In one smooth motion he rolls out of his little crab walk like stance, rolling to the left and coming out of the roll onto his feet but this leaves him abit exposed as he brings his sword back up.

Matachi's move was badly played. She could have slashed at him in his roll. She was quick enough to do it to. She didn't though she wanted this to be fun. He was stronger by far than her and she hadn't understod why he hadn't sent her sword flying from her hand yet he could have. He was playing easy like she was. The truth was they didn't want to hurt each other. Her stance fell as he got back up. "we could have both killed each other a hundred times over."

Matachi smiles "Thought we were just gonna have fun?" Matachi says playfully as he drops his stance as well walking up to her smiling "Can't say we didn't have bit of fun can you?" He says to her, he seemed happy that things were back to her thats all he cared for was that his mistake could be corrected.

Katherine let out a big sigh. She turned from him and set the sword back down picking back up the garter. It was alittle while before she spoke. "Matachi I love you but i was being, or wanted to be serious about the spar."

"Then lets be serious." Matachi says backing up seeing that she was abit upset about it. Slowly he pulls the blade off the ground and back into his left hand. Then speaking like he does to the soldiers, serious and to the point "Show me what you can do with a sword and don't hold back and I won't either." He says to her seeming serious about it now as a really training exercise.

"Not with you." She spoke walking back inside. She was restless if the truth be known she had finshed her work and was restless because she wasn't used to haveing nothing to do. She wasn't angery at him wasn't upset she just wasn't intersted in sparing anymore. It was quite pointless anyway. Her messanger from Flowing Rivers was going to get her soon and waiting was knawing at her as well.

Matachi slightly gets hit by that and watches her leave not chasing her. Slowly he walks over picking up the blunt sword she had used with his right hand. Holding them both in separate hands he goes and lays them on the table next to a few other items there in the practice area on a cruddy table. She wanted a real fight he was gonna give it but she did say something funner so he was trying to have fun.

She had went to get a bottle of wine. One thing about not working is that it gives you a chance to think. She hated that. Thinking about the reality that was all around her made her feel sick of herself so she would drink.

Soon matachi goes inside and finds katherine again "Sorry katherine, just was trying to have some fun, if you want to spar for real I will gladly be here for a sparing partner." He says, it seems he wasn't sad or mad but actually happy he was just hoping she wasn't gonna be mad about it. Matachi notices shes already tucking into abit of wine, he picks up the bottle looking at it.

She shook her head some and handed him the bottle. "You love me to much to fight me. Here." She sat down then watching the cooks and speaking again. "Its funny i don't know what to do with myself when i have nothing to do."

"Meh abit of a fight between us with swords is a good way to relieve stress." Matachi says smiling "So if you ever want to just have abit of a spar just find me." He says and he was truthful he would fight her if she wanted, serious fighting "Well lets go out and do something. Like to the beach or something and get out of this stuffy castle." He says smirking as he leans back in the chair pouring himself abit of wine "Don't mine do you?" He says holding up his glass seeing if she was wanting the bottle for herself or something.
