Maddy scratched the back of her head a bit nervously. "Hehe, it was my first time piloting. And where's the fun in going slow? I think I might throw in a couple barrel rolls next time." She said with a smirk. Going back to her previous thoughts about the coastline, Maddy took out her world map and examined the Orre region. "Hey, Ginji! Come here for a sec and look at this." She called out.

Arekku stepped out a little dazed but was able to keep his composure, "Okay... Arwing equals fun, but Arwing plus Maddy piloting equals HOLY beep beep beep WE'RE GONNA DIE!!" He calmed down and looked around. "So what are we doing here anyway?"

"?" Ginji tilted his head as he walked up to Maddy. As he appeared, he simply said "I'll drive on the way home. I know how to hit Mach 6." he smiled slightly as he looked at Maddy.

She pointed out the coastline of the Orre region on her map for him. "Am I the only one who noticed that the coastline isn't shaped like that anymore? I dunno. I find it a bit weird." She looked over at the others. "Uhmmm... You guys can look around for a bit. If you find any ground- or rock- type Pokemon, feel free to catch one. Even though I doubt you can find much of 'em around here. Last I checked, it was pretty barren."

"Mach six?" Kathryn exclaimed. "Awesome..." Yeah, she enjoyed stuff like that. "Awesome aerodactyl by the way," she added, looking at Arekku. The huge wyvern-like creature was one of her favorites.

"I was just kidding guys, jeez" He laughed as he looked back at the others. Perhaps he wasn't really kidding, but it was fun to make believe.
"Is that a Wailmer I see on the shore?" Ginji said as he looked at both the map and the coastline. "This isn't right..." he said as he walked up and down the beach part of the continent. The sand wasn't sandy, it was more like dirt. Salt crystals also formed on the top layer of sand, glistening in the sun.
"A rock or ground type." Ginji's mind wandered as he looked around the terrain.

Arekku smiled at Kathryn, "Thanks!" He looked around not seeing anything living for miles. He allowed Shin out of his pokeball, the Claydol seemed happy to be in the desert environment. "Dol..." He spun around a few times and stopped to stand just like he had when Arekku found him.

Maddy opened up her TADS. "Ok, time to try a more technological point of view." She pulled up a satelite picture of the Orre region. "WHOA!!" She blinked a couple times, trying to make sure her eyes weren't trying to trick her. The Orre region showed by the satelite image was much bigger in proportion to the other regions than the one on Maddy's map. "Ok... uhmm... How old are these maps? This is really out of date."

"Awww..." Kathryn pouted as Ginji said he was kidding. Something like that seemed only interesting to her. She glanced around, looking for a rock-type or a ground type to add to her collection. Theoretically, she could catch that aerodactyl she wanted here, but she guessed that there weren't near enough cliffs and rocky edges for that species. Oh well. She shrugged internally and wondered what would live in this barren desert, anyway.

Berg knelt down and felt the ground. He doubted that he'd be able to find much more than a Geodude here. But after all, anything that he can turn into a powerful companion to help him find his Houndour will be caught.
"Where do we start?"

Ginji was walking along, trying to find a ground or rock type Pokemon to battle for keeps. It was such a hot day outside that it should have been easy to find such a Pokemon. He sighed heavily as his larvitar followed behind him, no more than a few paces behind him.
Out of nowhere, Ginji's foot catches a brick patterned rock and the boy falls delicately onto his face. Larvitar too was tricked into falling on its face. And a storm of sand, Sandshrew appeared. "Hey little guy." Ginji laughed as his Larvitar started to atatck with an Earthquake.
Sandshrew wobbled as it retaliated with a Rollout. Larvitar looked around before unleashing a Hyper Beam on the flying ball that stopped it in its tracks. Ginji say this as a great chance to catch the little sucker as he threw an Aqua Ball to apprehend the Pokemon.
Wiggle. Wobble. Wiggle. DING! Sandshrew was caught. Now, to deal with the expansion of Orre.

Maddy was walking the opposite way of Ginji, along the coast. She had Ismene, her cute little Bagon, perched on her shoulder. Her map was a couple years ago, but even a couple years was way too short a time period for such a drastic change like this. "Hmmm..."
Suddenly, Ismene jumped off Maddy's shoulder and fired a stream of golden flame at an approaching Geodude. The Geodude was instantly enraged by this sudden attack, and picked up a decent-sized rock nearby and flung it at the little dragon. Ismene growled with detest and smacked her foe with her tiny fists, executing a Brick Break attack. Geodude hung on to consciousness and tackled Ismene. Ismene finished off the battle by using Dragon Rage.
Maddy recalled her little companion. "I guess we should return to the Arwing and wait for others. I'll need to research some ways as to how a landmass can go such a change as this in such an obviously short amount of time." She said, talking to herself, as she walked back to the Arwing.
