"I don't see...anything?" Ginji said as he was in the back and couldn't get past everyone to see what they were all awing at. The horrors of being slow. Larvitar shoved his way through the group to look at the sight in awe. It smiled for the first time all day.

"breathtaking, isnt it?" tommy asked thard casually. tommy loved this view. he was hoping the family would let him visit often. hed already had a bad encounter so... "be on gaurd just in case. i was alone last time, so they attacked me after id seen this. just in case." tommy said suddenly, in control of his emotions, starting to feel more energized to proceed.

"Let's go!" Sammy cheered, jumping off of Troy's back and running towards the middle of the cavern. She was very excited for some reason, even though she was scared of Salamences in general.

"This is amazing," Cody said, looking around. The ceiling of the cavern was about fifty feet high. Pre-evolutionary stages of the large dragon, Salamence scurried along the cave floor. In the middle, a giant crystal that stretched to the ceiling. It seemed to be acting as a support beam. Cody could do nothing more than gawk at the beauty of the room. Crystals jetted from the walls, floor, and ceiling. It was insane. He slowly made his way to the center of the room, making sure not to disturb any nests, and lightly placed his hand on the crystal. The cave was magnificent.

"Be careful Tommy. If they attacked you for trespassing before, there's no guarantee they won't do it again," I warn him.
Proceeding cautiously beside Salamence, I continue, "This may be a good chance to let the wild pokemon here know we don't mean them any harm. So don't go provoking any of them."

Arekku slamed into the last person in the group, "Ewch... Oh... it's you guys!" He said in a quiet whisper. Dona allowed the small wisp to disapate.

Sammy looked at the big crystal in the center. "Hmm... I wanna try climbing it!" she said determinedly. This would be great practice for a rock-climbing trip. She attempted to grab onto it, only realizing that it was smooth as a baby's bottom. "Aww... I can't climb this..." she pouted.

Larvitar went running up the giant crystal as Ginji pushed his way through the other members so he could get a better look. "Larvitar, you might not want to do th-" Ginji started to warn as Larvitar tried to take bite of the crystal. It was too hard for the little Pokemon's jaw and it turned the Pokemon's eye's all loopy as it fell backwards onto it's bottom.
"Snap." Ginji said as he rushed to Larvitar to pick the Pokemon up as the Dragons started to stare down at the boy and the little green Larvitar like a piece of meat.

Cody smiled, taking a small hammer and pick out of his pack. Was this crystal made of the same chemical compounds as the others? Was there something about this one that made it so much more shiny and smooth than the other ones or was it just how the heat had played into its metamorphosis? Either way, Cody was going to find out. He drove the pick into the rock and hammered away, collecting small samples from different places on the rock. "Ginji, care to help me with more research?" he asked, knowing his friend had helped him last time.

"ugh." tommy responded as the dragons looked down from the ceiling, and across the room. then, they all looked at the hill, where everyone else was. then, they looked at tommy. he was covered in sratches that they had made. tommy gulped. "why does this always happen to me..." tommy muttered. he made no sudden movements whatsoever.

"Salaaaaaaaa~~!" Salamence made a sing-song roar again. It echoed nicely in the crystal-lit cavern. The eyes of more than a few dragons were drawn towards my pokemon and me.
"I sure hope you know what you're doing, buddy." I say tenatively.
Salamence glanced at me and gave a subtle nod of his head, then stood tall and looked around the cave. Perhaps he was searching for the one in charge of the colony.

Sammy had now taken to aimlessly wandering, growing further and further away from the group. She avoided the bigger pokemon, but liked walking near the little Bagon that scuttled around everywhere.

Feraligatr wandered over to Tommy, knowing he had to protect the boy. Looking back, Cody muttered to himself, "Imagine that... Right again..." He continued to hack at the crystal, collecting a piece here, then a piece there, and a piece over there.
