Tenshi went back into the circle and as soon as he stepped in, the contraption released a post and knocked him into the circle as if telling him to hurry up. "Blasted machine... don't make me hurt you." Now the back of his head hurt. He was surprised he wasn't coughing up blood yet from the amount of time he was kicked around by this thing. This proved that he had a lot to work on if he was going to be dodging swords or punches. If he couldn't dodge posts, how could he block a sword?

The machine went for another hit, but Tenshi saw it coming and jumped to the side out of harm's way. "Ha! Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that!" he yelled up to the machine. He had no idea why he was talking to it. It wasn't like it could understand what he was saying... could it? He highly doubted it, and 'antagonizing' it seemed the right thing to do.

As if answering his words, the machine let loose another post and whacked his side. It was a pretty good hit too. If someone were watching it would certainly be a good laugh. He almost felt like a little girl's doll being thrown across the room. He hit the floor and held his head. I think I'm seeing stars...

Tenshi didn't even have enough time to get up and react when the next post whacked him upside the head. He was getting beaten to a bloody pulp by a machine! Ooohhh... I just want to take a nice, warm bath... He didn't move from his position on the ground and looked up at the dark ceiling. It was as if the machine was laughing at him for his despicable excuse for dodging.

Tenshi stood up. He was sick of this thing making a fool of himself. He was a member of the Fubuki clan's main family. He wasn't about to be taken done by some inanimate object! He glared up at the ceiling, Bring it! Your move... The contraption seemed to understand what his body language meant and so it shot a post at Tenshi. He heard it from behind him and Tenshi pivoted his position away from the post, his hand pushing it along.

He smirked, "That all you got?" The contraption, thinking to get away with it, launched two posts at the same time. Tenshi was caught a little off guard and looked around. Luckily he managed to catch them in his sight and dived out of the way. A dodge is a dodge, right? As long as I get out of the way of the attack. He stood up and looked at the ceiling. He could tell something was going to happen.

He heard a mass of clicking. Not just one or two clicks, but several, more around the amount of six or seven. To his surprise, the contraption wasn't going to let him off easy. It began releasing all of its posts consecutively. Right after another a post fell at him with momentum. I need to get out of here before I'm killed! He ran for the edge of the circle, watching his back and rolling out of the way of incoming posts. The edge was near and he dived for it. The posts stopped and Tenshi stood up and pressed the button, finishing the training. "That was one hell of a training..."

Tenshi gathered the chakra into his hand and made the wind chakra sphere. Now he had to add rotation to it, but how does one do that? He tried rotating his entire arm, but that didn't seem to work. He tried moving his arm in different ways, but the wind chakra didn't do anything but move with his arm. Eventually the chakra faded away without doing anything. "Well How in the world do I do this?!" He decided to back outside where it would be nice and cool. The dark basement was enough to give him a headache after training all afternoon down there.

He arrived outside and spotted Keon sitting around eating apples. It sounded good, but he really wanted to get through his training. He held out his hand and summoned the sphere of wind chakra. Rotation... hmm... what if I spin it. He grabbed a hold of the chakra and spun it in his palm, it seemed to get a little reaction from him. So that's how it is done... That's good to know. He assumed that part of learning the technique was figuring out how to do it yourself. He hoped that the stronger jutsus weren't like that. He would be afraid of doing it wrong and possibly injuring himself. The chakra faded after a while and so he decided to meditate.

((Tenshi will spar after his training's graded ^^ He's got Dex coming which will help him out xD ))

Tenshi sat down and began his meditation. It didn't take him long to find his comfort zone, form a handseal, and slip into a trance. After meditating so many times, it was almost a second nature to him. He hoped that some of his other training would do the same for him. He didn't think about anything other than the peace and calm around him. It felt good to sit still after the beating he had endured from the dodging dojo, not to mention the slight breeze in the air.

In his trance, the only thing he thought of was the breeze. How cool it felt against his skin, it was invigorating. There wasn't very much noise besides the wind through the few trees in the area and the sound of Keon biting into his crisp apples. So instead of sounds he concentrated on his chakra, and only that. His chakra network was easy to move around and manipulate.

He was thrown out of his trance when he suddenly jolted from the cool breeze. Goose bumps formed all over his body as he was drastically cooled down. It was a momentary fluke only because of the sweat that covered his body. He shook it off and went back to meditating.

He formed the handseal once again. His choice was the bird, the creature of the air. He was working with wind chakra after all and the bird seemed fitting. His chakra flowed through it like the wind under the bird's feathers. He controlled his breathing and went to finding new chakra paths. It was interesting feeling the new pathways once he came across them, and opening narrow ones further just to see what they did.

His meditation was consistent and very relaxing. He was fairly tired, but the cool air kept him awake. He wasn't about to have another nightmare anytime soon. The last one with Hokaboku and Bumu sensei was enough to prevent him from falling asleep. He wondered if opening chakra paths to the brain would keep him awake. So he tried and opened up the pathways to the brain.

His senses were immediately heightened and he heard every noise and smelled every smell. It took him out of his trance as soon as he heard the crunch of Keon. It was startling to him. Don't do that while meditating... maybe that'll help with genjutsu... At least he learned something from the experience. He formed the handseal again and closed his eyes.

Slowing down his breathing his returned to his trance. He traced every path his chakra flowed through. He felt in tune with himself and the things around him. If there was one thing he was good at it was chakra control and ninjutsu. He wasn't strong by any means, but he knew his chakra. Meditating further would make him more in tune and sharpen his control.

Tenshi continued to let the chakra flow throughout him It was very relaxing and he felt very rejuvenated. He meditated for several more moments after releasing his chakra just for the sake of relaxation. He didn't have much else to do at the moment and relaxing was first on his list. He had been training all day, it was about time he got some 'R and R.'

His body was sore all over, but he got up anyways and walked over to a nearby tree to observe Keon and his training. Was he doing the same thing he was, or something completely different? If he was going to fight him at some point he wanted to know what he was capable of. And observing fit well with resting.

Keon cleaned up after his break and looked over to see Tenshi who was training not too far from where he currently was. Keon began stretching and thought to remember his training from when he was at the pool. Keon placed his hands together and began controlling his chakra. However all he could think about was the food he had just eaten. It also didn't help that his genjutsu training was clouding his mind and he would constantly send waves of chakra through his system to reset it. This was not a good start however as soon as he remembered what he did to walk on water he'd be right on it again. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 1 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 12 VS 20 Fail]]

Keon took a deep breath and started again. He had to get it down as he could see Tenshi was hard at work and Keon didn't want to fall too far behind him. Keon's chakra flowed to his feet. It was a steady stream and had consistent concentration. This was good. If he could keep this up he could be walking on every surface without a single thought about it. All he would have to do now is get his body to keep that consistent flow for a while. Once he did that he would be able to focus on how it would pull his body to the surface of the tree.
[[Formula: 1d20 ( 12 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 23 VS 20 Pass]]

Keon tested his flow by walking around. He was still getting some good flow even though he was only walking in circles. He liked the fact that he was keeping it up so well. Normally his control over his chakra was awful. It probably got better from all the exercises he did that involved heavy use of his chakra. He could have gotten done it a bit earlier had he spent his first day in the academy doing the actual lesson plan rather than going off to do all the physical training he chose to do in his down time. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 9 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 20 VS 20 Pass]]

Keon was holding his control of his chakra pretty well. He wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible, however he did want to take in everything about this technique. It would seem fun to be able to walk vertically or horizontally along walls. Hell he'd even try diagonally just for the hell of it. In all honesty he just couldn't wait to break more seemingly common logic. First he walks on water then on walls. Next he might just try to fly. Worth a shot right. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 13 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 24 VS 20 Pass]]

After his chakra flow was settles Keon moved on to making it stick to the tree. His foot tapped the tree trunk lightly, slightly brushing along the bark of the tree. There was some attraction, it could bear some of his weight. Around half, if not a little more. It was a great accomplishment to be able to hold half your weight on a vertical object. It boggled his mind really. He had no idea how it worked only that it did and that was good enough for him. He would figure it out one day, however that day was far off into the future as he would most likely graduate prior to gaining such knowledge. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 9 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 20 VS 20 Pass]]

Resting post...

If there was one thing he needed, it was rest, and from the looks of it, he would be resting for quite some time. He felt like a train running nonstop! First it was Genjutsu Kai, then water walking, surface walking, meditation, then the first stage of the Kaze Dama, with the other trainings thrown in he was a workaholic! Well in his mind he wouldn't graduate if he didn't put some effort into it. If he graduated at the top of the class, then he did. He would bring honor to his clan in that respect and he was sure his father was proud.

He clutched his chest as if reminding himself that his father was there with him, though he couldn't rush home and tell him how the day was, he knew he was there. He gave a sigh as his mind faded back into here and now. He wished he could have a normal family unit, but there was not much he could really do about it. I should take my mind off of it and concentrate on working on this jutsu before I start getting depressed.

He looked over at Keon and noticed he was doing rather well on his surface climbing. That wasn't so much of a pain as water walking was, not to mention getting wet. His clothes probably still reeked of a wet, sweaty boy. He couldn't imagine having to clean his clothes, much less even wear them right now! Keon had seemed to be rather good at molding his chakra, which took him by surprise. He didn't think Keon would be the type to spend time molding his chakra and increasing his chakra reserves. He pictured more of a fight against a rock to see who breaks first.

I suppose, if he wants to infuse his weapons or fists with chakra for an added punch, then I guess he would need to work on his chakra as well. It was obvious Keon wouldn't have a vast pool of chakra, but he guessed that Keon had enough chakra to pack a few good punches. If I want to live I'll have to learn to dodge those punches...

Shinzu wasnot a particulary happy person as he entered the Academy, he wasn't so much pissed as frustrated. It showed in practice as he started working on the technique again, oh did it show. Shinzu was giving it everything he had, he was leaving it all out on the floor as he sent the dummy flying across the room. 1/10

Luckily Shinzu had several set up in a row, and no sooner then he'd kicked one to the other side of the room, he was on the next one. Luckily the dummys where made to take this sort of abuse, though over a longer period of time, and by much less powerful students. Shinzu was a full fledged ninja however, and the current dummy he was on soon joined it's buddy at the other side of the dojo. 2/10

1, 2, 3 boom! Shinzu kept up the tempo, one after the other, his kicks were born of pure ferousity, each one more powerful then the last. He surely would be exhaughsted by the time this was all over, but he still had some more to go before that. Afterall he wanted to learn to properly block with his variety of weapons, which would make them at least slightly more useful. 3/10

One by the one the dummies Shinzu had set up ended up on the other side of the room, they went that direction in slow, almost methodical, rythme, one after another. For some it may have clamed them down, but at this moment for Shinzu it only encouraged him, and he kept up his barrage of kicks on each dummy. 4/10

By now Shinzu had made it to the last dummy of the line of five he had set up, and he unleashed his barrage yet again. This one, like the other four before it, sooned it's buddies at the far side of the room. Shinzu yawned slightly at this point, before shaking his head from side-to-side, he was starting to get tired. 5/10

He couldn't rest though, not yet at least, after he finished this, and his blocking training. Which reminded him, what weapons would he even be good enough to block with? He thought about it as he went to the other side of the room and set about attacking the next dummy. 6/10

'My Katana and Kunai.' Shinzu thought as he sent yet another dummy flying, across the room. He'd have to train with his Aian Nakku to get profficient enough to be able to block with them. He was starting to use them fairly commonly now though, so it wouldn't be long now. 7/10

Slowly Shinzu kept moving down the line of dummies, one by one they were joining thier buddies, so far Shinzu had sent two.. Make that three now, to the other side of the room. Shinzu was kind of happy he'd waited to learn this technique, with his experience and training, it was much easier now then it would've been otherwise. 8/10

As he thought about it he realized that he hadn't messed up a single time whle training this technique. That caused a small grin to come across Shinzu's face, being able to train for a while and not suffer a single mishap was very good. 9/10

Before he knew it Shinzu was on the last dummy and with one, two, and a third finishing kick he sent it across the room to join it's buddy. His yawn came back then, and he figured he probaly had it down enough for now. So now slightly sleepier Shinzu walked tot he other side of the dojo and put the dummies back into thier place.10/10

Stage II: Taijutsu DC 23. Send heavy objects flying using the Senpu.

(I needed a minimum of 3 to pass this, and as all 10 are over three, they all pass)

Resting post...

It felt nice to sit there and do absolutely nothing, though deep inside he was itching to do some training and be productive. This is productive. By resting here I am easing the tension on my mind, body, spirit so that when I continue with the training I do not drain too much out of my and end up unconscious or worse. You will be rested up in no time, just be patient. He had plenty to do though. He had Keon practicing near him and he had already learned something.

Right now, watching him wasn't as fun. He had only failed once and he was doing well since then. Not that he wanted him to fail at his training, it would have been entertaining to see him fall down a few times, maybe ending up in the water like Tenshi usually did. It was probably just bad luck that the worst possible thing that could happen, usually happened. Why was he struck with bad luck? Maybe he would have to find out one of these days.

Graduation is right around the corner! I so cannot wait to become a genin! He wasn't sure how different his life would be outside the academy. He really wanted to know who his squad leader would be. If his face could turn whiter, it would have after his passing thought. Oh spirits.... It could Bumu-sensei. He swallowed down the saliva that had built up inside his mouth, which went down a little hard. I wouldn't be rid of that woman... I'd have to see her... everyday.... for the rest of my life... He felt like he was going to pass out.

He was in good standing with Bumu, but he would have to watch everything he said and did to avoid being pummeled, poked, prodded, and any other harm he could think of that could happen to his body. And when I thought I would be rid of her, she would step up to us and say, 'I'm your new quad leader. Now let's play tag... I'm it...' He could see it now... he would return every night with wounds of training. Think positive, it could always be someone else... not sure who, but someone...

Fūton: Kaze Dama (Wind Release: Spiraling Wind Ball)
This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. Given the light weight of the ball and it's nature, the user can easily adjust it's trajectory in mid air to close in on the target. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock.
Rank: C
Cp cost: 40
Requirements: Wind Affinity, Chakra Control 20, Ninjutsu 12.

Tenshi returned to his training of the Kaze Dama. He gathered the wind chakra into an open palm and it began to form into a sphere, already knowing what to do. He was getting a knack for this sort of thing. Maybe one day he would be known for his mastery of ninjutsu. It could be a possibility for him, however, he was still an academy student. He held the wind in his hand and began spinning it. There wasn't a lot of momentum, but it was enough to see a difference. It would no doubt do some damage when he was strong enough to actually use it.

He diminished the chakra and channeled it back into his hand. The sphere of wind chakra returned and he began to spin it around in his hand. The spiraling was more complete. He had achieved a greater understanding of his chakra and the way it worked. He could tell this would be a piece of cake for him, but the toll on his chakra was enough to slow him down. If he was a little more advanced with a larger chakra pool, completing this jutsu wouldn't be a problem.

Tenshi released the jutsu and felt his pool drain, though it wasn't as bad as before. He could probably try it an additional time, but he would rather try it two at a time. So for now he would rest up his chakra and enjoy everything around him. Perhaps he would train something in the meantime again. Would it be push-ups again, or perhaps running around outside? Maybe running around, he could always use more stamina. He was well on his way to graduating and moving forward with being a swordsman.

He wouldn't be just an ordinary swordsman. He would be a force to be reckoned with. He would have the skills of a swordsman and a vast knowledge in ninjutsu. Surely that would bring him honor in the clan and the village. Maybe he would return home and grab his wakizashi and do some practicing with that, but does he risk getting in trouble by Bumu-sensei? I would rather be safe and wait here...

So he remained seated in the shade, cooling off after his last workout. He decided to run around the yard, but not until after resting a bit. He had been training non-stop, so he needed to take a small break, though he was itching to get moving and train in something. Watching Keon train wasn't helping his situation either. If he was bettering himself, then Tenshi should be as well. He couldn't let Keon get the better of him, though he thought he already did. I should get running right away!

He went to stand up, but sighed and seated himself again. He was still tired and though his mind was set on training, his body was only starting to get ready. Maybe a few more minutes yet... Curse you Keon... He had to really motivate himself now. If he didn't start soon, then Keon would surely catch up to him. Maybe he should challenge him to a fight, see who was on top? Maybe I will...

((Seeing how this looks in posting IC. I think it doesn't look half bad...))

Keon put more pressure on the wall and his foot slipped causing him to face-plant right no the tree. His forehead turned red from the impact and his hand shot up to rub it. It was terrible how he was so close and managed to fail so abruptly. He stopped trying to send chakra to his feet, but not on purpose. It seemed like his body was reacting to the pain in a way that was detrimental to his progress. I was so close too. Guess I have to start again. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 6 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 17 VS 20 Fail]]

Keon began to to gather his chakra in his feet once more. However he reverted back to the way he did it when he was training his walking on water technique. He couldn't get it right just yet. He tried and tried but it just didn't work. His feet repelled the tree trunk and sent him stumbling backwards. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 5 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 16 VS 20 Fail]]

Keon regained his balanced after stumbling a few feet back, but he was still outputting chakra, and although he didn't know it wasn't standing on the ground. His feet were slightly elevated from the surface of the ground. He was hovering centimeters above the ground. He tried to walk back towards the tree but since his feet were still pushing against the ground as soon as they would touch the ground for the first step he would slip and land on his back.
[[Formula: 1d20 ( 7 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 18 VS 20 Fail]]

He didn't know what to do anymore he was trying his hardest to get the jutsu down but it just wasn't working. He would exhale and start again. He allowed the chakra that was already flowing to continue to do so but did not add anymore to the mass. Once it was finished he began again This time he made a circuit almost. The chakra flowed from the center of his foot downward and curved around his soles ad back up around the outer of his heel and toes. This pattern caused the chakra to pull himself closer to whatever he was standing on.
[[Formula: 1d20 ( 15 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 26 VS 20 Pass]]

The stress the suction caused was a but much so he lowered it enough so that it felt a bit more normal. With the flow of chakra lowered he wanted to once again test it against the side of the tree once more. He stuck his foot against the side of the tree and was able to place around seventy-five percent of his weight on it. Soon he'd be able to stand on it with both legs.
[[Formula: 1d20 ( 16 ) + Chakra Control ( 11 ) = 27 VS 20 Pass]]

Mizuiro needed to train harder, realizing he barely knew any techniques, just the simple academy ones. It was time to expand his knowledge. He liked taijutsu, that was for sure, so that was where he would start.

He looked in a book about taijutsu, and found Gouken. This technique intrigued him and that would be the one to learn. But he first had to find the appropriate weights, the hard surfaces to punch, and just make sure he didn't brake anything that wasn't meant to be broken. This needed a bit of planning.

8 (1d20) + 2 (StrMod) vs DC 12.

Style: Gouken (Strong Fist)
Gouken aims at inflicting external damage and breaking bones. It is the exact opposite of Gentle Fist which is used mainly by the Hyūga clan. This style of fighting involves smashing your opponent and is generally used only by extremely physically powerful and dominating shinobi.
Cp cost: ----
Dice Rolls: n/a
Damage: Basic Taijutsu Damage increases to 5 - 12.
Requirements: Taijutsu 5, Strength 12.
