Se-vens Akira404 Se-vens which is why i need to proove that it needs to be cooked. Well then I hope my knowledge can benefit you as I am Majoring in Biology. When cooked above cell temperature (roughly 95-98 degrees feirenhiet) organic structures such as enzymes and other compounds such as carbohydrates and protiens start to DENATURE meaning that their isometric atomic structure breaks down. In layman's terms they loose their chemical properties that are based on how the atoms are arranged. And therefore become easier to digest because they are broken apart into smaller pieces before ingestion. That is all for today kids! Class Dismissed!!! even your layman's terms make me sleepy. thus explaining why I do not explain in such vocabulary. Going back a ways for this, but what Mr. Wordsmith here is trying to say is that if you heat things up, it's easier for your body to digest them. That's the only badness about raw pasta- it's harder for your body to break it down into the nutrients you need to survive, and some people simply won't digest it at all and it will come right back out one way or another. So yeah..I haven't been here much, but is there some sort of problem?
