{Leon : Shipwreck Cove : Uppermost Balcony}

"So that's there they're headed," Leon stated as he walked onto the balcony having overheard Jenny as she stated it the first time.

The gunblader had not really spoken to anyone since they had returned to Shipwreck Cove. Returning to help the other group had been the last thing on his mind. He would rather have been on the way to Ivalice by now. However, as Riku had pointed out, they wouldn't be certain of it until later in the day, their battle was apparently at dawn.

"As long as they talk to King Triton regarding the King's army then it's fine," he stated looking out at the pirate fortress that they were now staying at.

Aside from the yelling of drunkard pirates below there was also the sound of preparation for the battle at hand. Underneath it all there was definitely a tension that the gunblader could definitely feel it building, the anticipation and fear of the coming battle starting to settle in among the crews of the ships.

[ Ajora : Paris : Beauvais Manor Ballroom ]

Ajora did, in fact, fix himself some tea as he began to eat. When the next guest arrived, the Replica couldn't help but chuckle. The judge strolled up to Elleon, and Ajora kept silent, merely eating and remaining politely quiet. However, the attention was soon turned on him; he continued chewing, but held a handkerchief up to his mouth as he finished, clearing his throat to speak afterward.

"I am Brother Ajora, Your Honor," he responded, bowing his head politely to Frollo. "A meager holy man come to pay his respects. Some have called me a prophet, but I make no such claims. Only that I have an open ear for the Lord, our God, at any time as He may deem it necessary."

[ ??? : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]

"I will join you," she responded, taking a seat at the opposite end of the table as Tromell exited to prepare the food.

"So, experience anything of interest since your departure from Hawaii?" she asked, her voice somehow managing to hold a hint of curiosity, despite her overall somber tone.

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]

He watched with analytic eyes as the Heartless grew restless, their gleaming gold spheres looking at him with increasing hunger. He drew his blade back into the ready position as he waited-- he wanted to wait until the last possible moment, in case it was taking her longer than expected. However, four of them managed to stay put, once more becoming complacent.

The other two had leapt at him, but never made contact with anything but the swift, horizontal stroke of his blade as he brought the Key in front of him in a sweeping motion.

"Good. You're getting the hang of the feeling now, and that's what this training is for," he explained, relaxing with his blade at his side. "You need to get comfortable enough with the Darkness to manipulate it, but not so comfortable as to become sloppy. I don't think we'll need to be concerned about that any time soon, though."

"That pretty much covers Heartless control," he continued, rolling his blade arm's shoulder around. "Is there anything else you wanted to cover before moving on, or do you think that's enough for the night?"

Normally, he would have already sent the girl to bed, but he'd seen her earlier dedication. That, and she was older than him.

[ Kyle ; Sora : Shipwreck Cove : Decks ]

Kyle merely grinned at Joe and continued to swim backward; that's when he hit small school of fish swimming around in the midnight waters, causing him to spin around and back up quickly to see what he'd hit. When he saw the fish swimming away, he couldn't help but snort.

At John's response, Kyle turned his head and nodded with a smile, but continued to swim forward, eyes on the deep horizon. He was glad for John's enthusiasm, but couldn't quite agree with the philosophy. Yet, he also couldn't hold it against John-- if he'd been with them during the past 24 hours, he probably wouldn't be in such high spirits, despite the victory at Hawaii.

Out of compulsion, Kyle's hand ran across the large scar on the side of his abdomen-- the opposite side of Joe's scar.

"Oh, hey, look over there!" Sora shouted, pointing off a few degrees to the side. Over the seabed-horizon, a distinct glow could be seen, as if there were some massive city underwater-- Atlantica. They couldn't quite see the main city, but the tips of the tallest castle towers could be seen. It would take a few minutes of strong swimming to see the rest of the city.

Kyle's stressed look faded as he eyed the glimmering city; however, in the faint light of Atlantica, his attention was caught by a faint, tiny aura moving away from the city in the opposite direction along the seabed (anybody could have seen it about the same time he had). He stopped for a moment, looking down at the odd creature. He couldn't see much detail on the creature in the darkness, but he did see that it had odd, translucent fins of purple energy--

No, not fins. Wings.

"What...?" he muttered, his eyes following the intended direction of the strange creature and looking ahead. Somewhat off in the distance, within a large crevice in the rocky seabed, there was an area of pitch black-- not even his merman eyes, adjusted to the darkness under the sea, could pick out any details except that the blackness seemed... malleable. There were other odd specks of purple dotting the area around the mass, but it was too far off to see what they were, and by the time Kyle tried to get a better look at the first creature, it was gone, having nearly reached the crevice.

A sinking feeling hit his chest like a freight truck. "Does anybody else think that's odd, or am I being paranoid?" He asked, figuring others had watched the creature as well. If they hadn't, they could still look at the odd blackness he was facing.

{Davy Jones; Kuro Oni : Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters -> Deck}

While the replicas did as they would aboard his ship, the Captain had actually been away. His meeting with Calypso had done nothing but anger him. However, now was not the time to focus on what was said. He walked out onto the deck of the ship after receiving word from his watch and the report had made him even angrier.

"Alright, which one of you bloody replicas blew a hole in my ship!?" He bellowed, looking down on the deck below.

The hole was already gone of course, the ship had repaired itself before it had caused any problems. However, it was an uncalled for act and if the Captain of the ship had his way he would make sure the one responsible received lashings for it.

"She's not here, she portaled off to who knows where," Kuro answered lazily, not really caring if the Captain had heard his answer or not. "She'll be back though, at least I assume so."

The Nightmare Dreadnought was being lazy for once, laying back on the deck and just looking up at the moon. It was the only thing up there to look at anyway. He was also using it as an opportunity to recharge any lunar energy he had spent during his sparring earlier. The feeling of the energy from the moon invigorating, empowering to the dark gunner. He couldn't help but smirk as he heard what sounded like a fist on wood slam down.

"You let her leave!? After she did that to my ship?" the captain bellowed as he raised his clawed hand at Kuro Oni.

"Not like I have any control over the damn girl, she was bored. Not my fault she decided to entertain herself by blowing a hole in your wreck of a ship," he replied raising his own hand and clenching it into a fist as dark energy coursed through his fingers as if he dared Jones to try anything.

Davy Jones' tentacles writhed about in anger as he heard Kuro Oni's retort, his clawed and opened and closed once. He had no control in this situation though, only through his cooperation would he get what he wanted.

"Back to work the lot of ya!" he yelled and turned away, His outrage evident as he limped back to his quarters and shut the door with a slam.

[Joe: Shipwreck Cove->Atlantica: Docks->Outskirts]

Joe chuckled as Kyle did back into something. "Told ya."

As the approached Atlantica, Joe sighed. Really, it did look nice. And vibrant for an underwater city. And-what the hell were those purple things?

The fighter watched them, his eyes scanning the 'darkness'. Well, that looked...ominous. And apparently it was setting off Kyle's alarms, too. "Scouts. I doubt Ajora wouldn't keep an eye on this place. At least that's what I'm thinking. But we should probably be safe and hurry along." It felt...wrong to just sit there, out in the open.

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Flying Dutchman ]

"My, but everyone sure is pissy. Tonight should be one for celebration and relaxation," Ajora mused from the helm, having seen the entire scenario between Davy Jones and Kuro Oni after Dusk descended.

He kept his eye on Shipwreck Cove, though for a moment he did turn and face the armored form of 'Louis', who was as stoic as he'd been after arrival. Turning back to the deck, he looked down. "The little gunner girl, I take it?" he asked, somewhat amused by the prospects of a Replica's boredom gone wrong.

{Kuro Oni : Flying Dutchman : Deck}

As the door slammed, Kuro's fingers unclenched and he lowered his hand down lazily to his side once again. He could still feel the energy building though. It felt amazing, the power that the Lunatic Pandora had opened up for him. At Ajora's question, the dark gunner looked up, his head leaning back until he could see Ajora, though upside down.

"Yeah, she seemed a bit... crazy. Then again, which of us isn't really eh? Definitely not cut from the same mold as we were," he stated with a chuckle. "Goes for the rest of the new ones too," he muttered under his breath, though he didn't really care if any of them heard it or not.

[Nick :: Narnia :: Jadis' Castle]

"I have experienced...quite a few things. At the lighthouse, seeing the Sun-Cryst...I felt a sensation of true Darkness. I mean, something far more menacing than anything I've ever felt before. It was...strange. Practically terrifying, yet I couldn't help but wonder what the source of all that power was. Then meeting what I guess you could call the 'Dark Ones'. I honestly felt like I was in a dramatic story, the 'council' just stood over me and I answered that I would side with them." He sighed, looking to the large sword at his side. He could see his reflection staring back at him, his eyes still glowing that infernal green. It was a good look for him, being the 'bad' guy. Just because he used Darkness. Oh, destroying Tortuga didn't really help him look nice, either, but that was another issue entirely.

"I wonder if I should have thought that out more thoroughly, because I can already tell that my decision is going to bite me back somewhere down the road. Life is full of regrets, I suppose, but one can only trudge forward and hope for the best." He frowned, looking towards the doorway. His mood considerably brightened as Tromell brought out a large plate stacked with medium rare steak and mashed potatoes. The smell made the Dark Knight drool a little, but he relaxed himself and set a napkin on his lap as the plate was set down. "Thank you."

He picked up his silverware and took a bite, letting out a small sigh of enjoyment. He hadn't eaten food this delicious in what felt like forever. Nick turned his gaze back towards his near silent 'guardian' and gave a small smirk. "Terribly sorry. I got off topic with such depressing matters. I also found this sword in the Dark Meridian. Belongs to a lovely chap by the name of Garland. Tromell, could you possibly make a sheath for me?"

[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]

Elleon shot a glance to Ajora before nodding deeply as if in agreement with what he was saying. She didn't give a second thought to being worried or feeling threatened by Frollo. At this point it was all merely play.

The grey-haired man responded with a smile that very nearly resembled a sneer and laced his bony fingers together, "Of course you are. I could expect no other company with such a fair maiden. It's a pleasure to have met you."

The blonde drummed her fingers on the table and smiled up at the judge. "Are you sure I can't get you anything?"

"I would love to partake, but I should not stay much longer, my Lady." He replied, turning his gaze back to Elleon, "There's much to do as of late. I bid thee farewell."

"And you, Sir."

Elleon watched as Frollo spared Ajora one last parting nod and walked away. She waited until he was well out of range before sitting back again and giggling slightly.

"Brother Ajora, are you now? Please, take me to confession, I have sinned."

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]

Noelle relaxed as Riku took care of the attacking heartless, appearing at ease the whole time. She knew he would never get hurt against shadows, but there was still a little pit of guilt in her stomach. The small agromancer dismissed the heartless, slowly but surely feeling more at ease. And more tired. It had been a long day--a very long day. One that had started with the ending of one ordeal and the beginning of another. The more she thought about it the more she could hear her body crying out for rest.

"That's plenty for the night." Noelle sighed, really beginning to show her fatigue, "And too much for one day. But thanks. Really."

[ Ajora : Paris : Beauvais Manor Ballroom ]

"It's all in the preparations, dear," he responded with a small laugh, watching intently as Frollo left the gathering before looking to Elleon. "We're in a very religious period. Imagine what a man like Judge Frollo would do if he was spoken to by the voice of God himself?"

As he'd spoken, the eyes behind his mask suddenly became pure white, glowing with energy, though only for a brief moment; 'Brother' Ajora blinked the energy away and chuckled once again. "I wonder how extensively he uses the Darkness. Notre Dame is hardly holy ground these days."

[ ??? : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]

"I'm afraid not, sir," he said, standing tensely a few meters away, eyeing the blade with a look of concern. "We Guado are highly sensitive to the essence of the dead and other malefactors, and I can feel the anarchic energies even from here. I fear that should I or any of other Guado touch that blade, we would be... lost. If it's of any consolation, Sir Nicholas, those energies will keep the blade from ever dulling or breaking, so a sheath is largely unnecessary."

"Thank you, Trommell, that will be all," the Teacher responded, nodding her cloaked face in his direction; he bowed before making his exit. "What else has happened since your awakening at the Pharos?"

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]

"Don't mention it. I won't," he responded, chuckling slightly at his joke as he walked toward her and the door beyond. "You should get some rest, especially after this session. If our past few days are any sign, we're going to have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Flying Dutchman ]

"Mmm, she did seem a bit irate, though I'd say she jumped the gun," he replied, and couldn't help but giggle from his spot at the helm. "No matter. All's still well. I doubt she's doing anything too drastic out there."
