Jonas gave Ruben the reigns as Ruben jumped up onto the saddle with a smooth momentum as he nodded "We know you're highness, but there's no reasoning with him, I did try and get a straight answer out of him but he was too cold and cryptic about the plans. Of which I'm still unsure" he said as Jonas pulled up alongside her left and Ruben alongside her right, like a proper escourt and began to ride.

Matachi was told a letter had come in from flowing rivers which was where she was headed. Her small bay picked the pace. he was small but faster than most. She knew the way just as they did. She hadn't been to Flowing Rivers since... since Aiden.. It brought a deepening feeling to her. The ride would take some time 4 to 3 hour ride maybe with a few stops to rest the horses. Katherine was oddly silent thinking about why Aldon would do something like this. ((over to flowing rivers sub form))

John looked at Rose in confusion. "M'lady?" He asked.

"I am tired already." She said, stalking past John.
John sighed as he followed behind Rosaline, excusing them for the day.

Matachi would come up standing like ten feet infront of her holding the note he wrote for her in his right hand "Mind reading this first?" Matachi asked as walked over and laid it on the cover of the book before going and sitting down in the kings throne.

(guess not. It's not going to stop me, though.)

Paradox finished his work in the barracks for the day. The seven foot general glided down the hall. Every step he took was silent, invisible. His cloak showed little movement under it. That was strangely different. Paradox had always been a quiet walker, but he had reason to be like this. Somebody was on the move against the castle, and he had to be prepared, even if he had cut off almost half his own power.

Serenity turned the corner on the big guy. She had a smile, like she had whenever she was happy. Her hands were clenched into fists. The small lady slowly let her head slide up to the giant, who was still walking towards them. Her eyes sparkled. "Hey, mister monster! Isn't it a wonderful day!?" She beamed up at him.

Paradox stopped. "It's not smart to polite to rummage through other people's rooms, girl" He told her without looking at Serenity. He started to walk again.

Serenity had other ideas. Her smile may have turned into a pout, but it returned quickly enough. "I can't get into your room. It's warded from every possible angle. Why don't you just give me the book so we don't have to play this ridiculous game." She called out to him. He kept on walking, ignoring her. She thought for a moment. "I can help you find Craven." She added with a wicked smile.

The general stopped, but did not look back. The entire hall became silent after those words. The air was thick with tension. "Why should I trust you, girl. The book is useless to you, anyway." He said coldly. The general beleived Serenity was bluffing with something she had eavesdropped on.

Even though Paradox was faced away, Serenity did a quick twirl while standing in place. She was shaking with anticipation. "My daddy knew the author of the book. Besides, Mr. Zypher never told you what he was, did he? He is a demon older than humans, kind of like you, monster." She giggled with the last word. Her eyes were studying every facet of Paradox's stance.

Paradox was as still as stone. Every muscle was taut, strained as far as they would go. Then all the tension left his body in one ragged sigh. "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? You should know that I will never hand that book over to you. He no doubt taught you how to read the blasted tome. Keep your information. I don't need it." The general started to walk away again.

But, Serenity wasn't done yet. She looked dissapointed, but she still had the gleam of a sparkle in her eyes. "Oh, I'll tell you anyway. He knows all the oldies, you know in the war of the demons. The one war that created that little book." she told him, twirled around, and fled down the corridor very pleased with herself. As she went around the corner, her bodyguard let up his post at that end of the hallway. Another man would do the same on the other end.

Katherine motioned for him to follow as she walked outside in the court yard. "Today wasn't a good one. I had to go to Flowing Rivers.. they are threating to diconnect from the capital.. all Llyr actually. Seems Lord Aldon thinks what i am endangers everyone.." She shook her head slightly. That man had struck a nerve in her and whatever she did she couldn't shake it. Most of all because he was right. She endangerd everyone.
