Akimbo Streamjumper Well, going roughly by her behavior past and present, she is a drama whore. She decided that since she wasn't getting enough attention when she was here that she'd manufacture some by going away. When people didn't go running after her frantically enough to satisfy her need for attention, she decided to flatter herself by inventing a war. The amusing thing about this "war" is that while she is declaring it for the sake of getting attention, it would have gone completely unnoticed but for that journal entry being linked here. Sadly, this is what comes to my mind 90% of the time when people mention online journals.
Although, what Stream says is the harsh truth, it is a bit harsh, and personally, I'd like her to come back. I know I was a bit intimidated when I started out, but that was [quickly] ironed out as I began to hang out here more often.
This is just my two cents on the issue but, I think Lily might be just a bit confused about who the real "elitists" are in this gig. In my opinion, that would be people like the prior SJL who liked to treat other people (yes, fangirls are people) like they were lepers, as if they weren't worth his time. Also, the mullions of people who like to use nasty images saying things like "WTF?!" "N00B!" "STFU!!" on them to flame others, or "picto-flaming".
AG-ers on the other hand don't normally flame others, but instead use big words and even bigger and more detailed debates to counter opposing arguments. Take for example Stream's arguments in the Goku v. Superman thread. Clearly, when the average Gaia-er reads that, they probably run off to dictionary.com to look up meanings and pull out their decoder rings. That's a talent and that's how debate is done. Debate isn't about throwing insults up the whazoo and ganging up on people. And I know that the whole SJL crew seems to have their own group that goes around in packs and flames threads. Where there is one, there will be more, sort of thing. I don't think they can handle real debates going solo, and Mireo demonstrated that.
Right now, I think we should just let it be. If she comes back to AG, then we'll be the ones with more dignity to welcome her back with open arms. biggrin How does that sound?

Also, starting Thursday, I'm going away on my band trip to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and coming back on Sunday. If I haven't said before, I heart you all and I hope everything goes well(/safe) on the trip so I can come back and talk to you guys Sunday night. xd
I'm just going to do a mini contest here:
Whoever can post the most amount of stuff in my quest thread will get a picture of one of my panties, I don't know. Something like that.
