Felina nodded leading the group forward through the trees "We are going to the main city then onto the palace. We could always do some shopping on the way if you guys want or we could just go straight there" she told the group.

Satoshi rolled her eyes back at Alpha "Can't say it was the best joke I've ever heared but I won't say no to a good meal and a comfy bed to sleep in for once. No offence but it's hard to sleep in the airship while it moves"

Hayate hesitated following Felina through the forest "We need to be a little more to the left." he whispered to her then cleared his throat "When we get to the city I might leave you for a bit then join up with you in the palace later"

Seph thought about Felina's statement scratching her head "Let's just go to the palace and get the meeting new people thing out the way. We can do all the shopping before we leave" she decided moving around the tree.

Alpha waved his hand dismissively "Yeah, yeah I know be polite and don't curse or perv on anyone in the palace. Now stop lecturing me on how I should behave" he grumbled to Mari slowly changing into his human form.

Hebal frowned and shuffled over to Hayate "Why did you say you were going to leave us for a bit? Is something wrong or do you just have stuff to do?" she asked almost tripping over a tree branch

Mari giggled "Thats right Alpha I think your going to be nice and polite now" she looked at the elf outside Hayate's house "Is that your partner?" she asked.

Itaka grinned at the thought of the swimming pool to relax in "Well why don't ya introduce us first Hayate, it'd be nice to meet some of the locals this place looks friendly enough" he said looking at the other locals who had started whispering at the sight of the princess returning with this odd guard.

Oassu giggled "I can't wait to go there it sounds so nice but yea lets go meet Hayate's friend," he suggested eagerly.

Hayate shook his head rapidlly "No thats not my partner and that guy there is an old colleague. We weren't all that close but it would bad manners to completely ignore him. I guess I'll take you lot to my house." he added leading the group down a side street.

Satoshi rolled her eyes at Alpha "We do kinda stand and a princess who disappeared ages ago has suddenly reappeared so can you blame them for staring? Still you elves seem to be offended way too easily" she sighed looking down at the cobbles

Felina nodded at Seph with a small grin "We get a lot of important guests to entertain at the palace so we had to add a few things like an extra pool." She laughed at Oassu's enthusiasm keeping hold of Cid to stop him trying to wander off "It's hard to believe you were so nervous about meeting people before."

Seph looked around raising her eyebrow at some of the elves. "No doubt I would have turned a lot more heads if I put nothing on at all" she smirked making Chobi walk behind most of the group to allow more room. "So what sort of area is your house in Hayate?"

Alpha snickered staring back at "It would be somewhat strange if they had a fascination with my strength considering right now I look like a 60 year old man. Besides Anakuda was all flattery even if I have a strong firey aura" he laughed striking a pose.

Hebal couldn't help but look around at all the people and their houses but eventually managed to draw her attention back to the group. "I thought you had already met Felina's father" she told Oassu before leaning closer to Mari "so what do you think of this place?" she whispered

Itaka grunted in greeting to a few elves before leaning into Seph again "I gotta say...I'm a little jealous about the fact everyone's eyeing you up" he whispered to her glaring at a drooling elf sitting on a step, he sighed "And I thought all elves were dignified."

Mari giggled "It's still very nice for the poor district" she told Hebal trying not to notice a staggering drunken elf falling into an alley "Though maybe I'm speaking too soon." she laughed patting the fallen elf on the head as she passed.

Oassu nodded "I did meet Elorin once, but he didn't know me and Felina were a couple then and Hayate has kindly omitted that info from his reports for us so it's still gonna be completely new information for him, still I got on well with elves before" he said swiping the drunk's bottle of sherry and purse while he waved after Mari. He looked apologetically at Felina "Old instincts...it's been a long time since I've been in a back alley of a city" he shrugged taking a drink.

Felina tutted and wagged her finger before taking hold of both of Oassu's hands. "No stealing please. My parents will never approve of you if they find you with other people's purses" she sighed quickening her pace to avoid one or two drunks.

Hayate glared at the fallen elf gently kicking him into a recovery position "We can't all be dignified but this place is usually safe in daylight hours. There's the occasional scuffle but nothing that can't be quickly sorted out" he stretched his arms out and lead the group into one of the main streets. "Sorry but you're going to have to pass a lot of the shops to get to my house."

Satoshi laughed at the drunk elf fighting the urge to kick the drunk "I guess you're right. Not every city is perfect" she shrugged leaving the drunk be to follow the others to the main street "Now this is more like it, the shopping district." she grinned looking through some of the shop windows.

Seph looked around the street then rode a little closer to the shop window."Hmm... You elves have an interesting style of clothing" she remarked glancing through the window of the armor shop next door before riding back to the group. "Your armor looks better" she told Itaka.

Alpha sighed glancing briefly at a few windows "Come on you lot, we can split up and do shopping later on" he said gesturing to the girls to keep moving. "Don't worry about it Hayate we can always skip through"

Hebal sighed pulling herself away from the window "Even if we aren't shopping we can always look" she pouted making her way slowly back to the others "They are selling some really nice clothes there and at fairly good prices"
