Aaaaand for those interested, here's a crappy photo report of the new codex, the Spanish version. Don't shout at me if the link is dead, it could be pulled at any time.

Mat Mac you've created a monster. Im going to leave Iraq with two full armys. Focus on the woofs, don't do Guard. You could just get a small squad of Guardsmen for combat patrol and kill team if the cravings are that bad. I placed my own birthday order just now at a non-GW site, those discounts are really good for something other than just saving money, I managed to cram more into my budget than GW would ever allow. I might not get my Guard swag in advance but I will get it with a nice 10%+ discount. And free shipping. pirate

I think that this is the first time that I've ever found a good external use of reading Spanish. ^^
Also, Winnie, your sig makes me laugh.

Double post, sorry.
Looking through the Codex, some things strike me as badass/ridiculous. Straken is a Monstrous Creature in CC? AND grants Fearless and Furious Assault? Man, I like the guy, but that's a bit over the top.
Sly Marbo's rules look pretty slick and straightforward, and fit his fluff really well. I can really see why the guy takes up a full Elites choice.
Bastonne looks to be even more of a pimp with the inclusion of his ability to give orders. Harker...wasn't enough in focus.
Al'Rahem gives Outflank. Pimping. AND he causes Instant Death. Crazy, man. It would appear that Chenkov has Conscripts Without Number.
Kamir looks to be a pretty good newcomer, though the page with Rough Riders was blurry so I don't really have comparison. Putting the Rage special rule on him is interesting as well.
Nork has some pretty cool rules, along with his flurry of death strikes (provided that I read it correctly).
For points, Creed/Kell is a steal, especially given the Orders that the two of them can put out. Straken looks decently priced, though a bit on the cheap side given his buffs. Nork looks priced about right. Yarrick is spendy. Good.
The Punisher and Executioner are notably more spendy than other Lemans, and that is definitely a good thing.

Something that do sicken me is the wide amount of new tanks they're getting...
All this talk about space marines being the Emperor's finest getting the finest equipment and best weapons the imperium can offer? BAH! BULLSHIT! XD
The imps are even getting the valkyrie for heavens sake!
But this is yet something fun... Now I'm really looking forward to see what the new codex is capable of.

Kaori will pay you 10k gold if you can translate that thing for me, the lack of a leaked English copy is killing me.

Marines are the specialists who don't need a tank for every situation, not unless GW decides to pull something out of their collective arses again. Besides, the marine army revolves around the tactical marine, not the Land Raider peen-crusher. However, the Imperial Guard is known for its tanks. We lost a LOT with the previous codex so it is only fair that we get them back along with a pile of others to make up for what that meanie Pete had done back then. 18 different types and patterns of tank, now we're cooking with gas. burning_eyes Hey Shin, I'll give you a cookie if you build a Death Strike! wink

Mat Van Evok http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r45/ewok40k/tochka-u_3.jpg deathstrike in RL smile and in 1-72 scale: Needs a bigger Missile, and I would build mine on tracks In all the pictures I've seen of them, with a Chimera chassis, the missile is longer than the tank, nearly the same height, and about half the breadth.
