Angiemademe
Finally I'm able to log on. We are still without power at home so we are staying with the MIL. It's been out since thursday. But we are all doing good. Now we are safe, clean, and warm. I can only be on for a minute though. We've gotta get some food. I'll try to check in later.

Nopen I'm so glad your ok too. stare you have power, lucky!

I thought you might not still have power out in Puyallup.

That so stinks!

I'd say we definately got off easier than most. If ours was out (and consequently my parents' was too) My Grandma would have found her house invaded since All those new electric lines They put in during the last windstorm in Parkland seemd to stand up to the storm just fine. XD

Nic and Sarah, I'm glad you are okay. Sarah, I hope you get your power back soon!

Thank you ladies! The power came back last night so we are home now. Man am I glad. I guess so places aren't expected to have power until christmas eve. I am so thankful that we got ours back. I now realize I love electricity! xd

Glad it's getting worked out, I hope everyone gets their power back ASAP.

On a sad note, had a rough night. I was taking care of my neighbor's two kids, her baby died of SIDS last night (we went through our pregnancies together, her baby was a month younger than Liam), Tommy said there was nothing they could have done. Just a really sad thing.

While I am very glad to hear everyone made it through the storm okay I am very sorry to hear about your friends loss, Luna. It's so sad, I can't even fathom what they are going through! I know if I were in their position I would be destroyed! All my prayers and thoughts go out to them!

Wow glad to hear they got it back though. There are still thousands with out power. Some aren't expecting it back 'til after christmas. I feel so bad for them.

OMG! How excited is everyone?! Christmas eve xd . We've been having so much crazy christmas fun. On Friday we had a brunch/ornament exchange, then My best friend(who's visiting from Cali) and I took Sascha to see the Nutcracker, it was wonderful. Then my brother christmas party with tons of great old friends I never get to see. Yesterday we did zoo lights (they deck the zoo way out, and you go at night), it was so cool. Tonight is the big celebration with the in-law. blaugh This has been the best weekend!

So what is everyone else doing to celebrate?

Wow it sounds like you and your family had a great Christmas, Angie!!

I had to work Christmas Eve but my husband took Ethan to church with his family that night. Christmas morning we went to his parents house where we celebrated and opened gifts with them and his sisters and brothers. Ethan got spoiled rotten by all. That afternoon we went to my parents and celebrated and opened gifts with then my sister, brother, Grandma, Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. Again Ethan got spoiled rotten!!

He got some really cute stuff. He got the drop and roll dinosaur, the Fisher-Price animal train and the two extra pieces, books (Where the Wild Things Are and The Hungry Catapillar are two of them), Rattle and Ride Pooh, tons of really cute clothes, and that's just a small list of the all the stuff!! I have no idea where we are going to put it all! Needless to say he had a great first Christmas!

How was everybody elses Christmas? Dirge how was your Ethan's very first??

XD He made out like a bandit and still has more presents on the way. He seems to have enjoyed it.

We've had a great Christmas season. It started with a Christmas party on the 16th with friends from church. Then on Thursday we had FIL's side of the family get-together. Saturday was MIL's side of the family get-together. Then we spent Christmas Eve with just Tetravus's parents. Christmas Day we spent with my parents, siblings, and Tet's parents also came over. (We live with my parents so we tried to spend alot of time with ILs when Tet has time off.) It's all been very fun, but it's also been hectic...and it's still not over!

Tonight we're going over to friends' house to have dinner and play cards. Wednesday we're going to dinner with some more extended family from Tetravus's side. Then for New Years' Eve we're going to my sister's house for a party there. New Years' Day is our anniversary.

I don't think I've ever been this social in my life! sweatdrop

Man, I can't get over how fast time flies! I love reading about everyone's holiday shindigs.

I had my mom's night out party on the 16th, it was a well welcomed break (which turned out I still had schoolwork but eh). Even with the sad circumstances that weekend, I feel so blessed! I wanted to do a lot more for Logan, but seeing his face Christmas morning was priceless. The eaten cookies (he even let Santa drink out of his favorite cup), the stockings, oy the presents! He's been having a blast.

Liam seemed oblivious to the chaos, but his eyes were as big as saucers when I dangled all his toys for him.
