I say go for it. Dragon Types are tough to take down if you aren't packing ice. And from the looks of many people.. they aren't packing much of it. Maybe one or two pokemon with an Ice move.
Plus you have Charizard to fall back on.. or Gyarados.. Aggron with Dragon Claw. I feel like doing a gym for every type xD lol
I'm making a Rock gym for my Soul Silver. I hope it ends up good.
Cradily is Rock Grass. :3

Aggron would fall too quickly to earthquake, and that happens to be a VERY popular move or so I've heard anyways.
Gyrados is a nice choice, but I fear the thunder moves which are also quite common. neutral
I was wondering, what the hell could Kingdra learn to kill an ice type? eek

If you get a Special Kingdra (Like mine) It learns Flash Cannon.
A special steel move that lowers special defense :3
Physical I'm not too sure.. EDIT: I loked it up. Iron Head. Physical attack that causes flinching :3
Combined with Dragon dance, it's not bad..

As for Aerodactyl, It's rock/fly Sounds good. Electric doesnt effect right? I have a feeling it does...even thoe its part rock. neutral

Iron Head is a move tutor move.
And oh yeah.. well.. I don't know how this guild works with gym pokemon rules.... MOST guilds allow one type that's different.. but this one might allow two.. talk with the mods.
Latias is an alternative... she's Psychic Dragon and Overused, not Uber. So you're good there.
And Aerodactyl takes heavy damage from electricity.

In Platinum, he's either close to Pastoria City, you know that house where it rains alot past the swampy area?
or close to the Rest Area. You'll need Rock Climb to get up there.
And in HG/SS they're all outside the Battle Frontier.
