[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]

The little agromancer nodded and let out a breath, trying to concentrate and relax. She replayed what Riku had to say in her mind, trying to stay confident. So long as she didn't doubt herself or get scared she should be okay. It just had to be like before. She was so sure of herself then. And very angry. Noelle closed her eyes, trying to feel the stain of Darkness left on her heart. Her eyebrows pulled together as she tried to recreate what she felt back in Agrabah. The despair she felt, the sorrow of losing everything that was dear to her, the anger of not being able to do anything about it. She wasn't strong enough to do anything about it, not even now with a new magic ability. But the Darkness could get her what she wanted. What did she want now? She had a new goal. To protect. She had a new family to protect, and this new family would help her get her old family back.

Noelle focused on the feeling of control she was gaining. It gave her some confidence, enough to overcome her fear but not to suppress it. She began drawing on that ability to summon. It almost felt similar to how she summoned Titan--it just came from a different source. Small coagulations of darkness began to form on the ground. They came two at a time, and slowly pulled up into little Shadows. By the time she was done there were six in all. The blonde dared not go any further. Six seemed like a low number but it was plenty enough for her. Once satisfied she looked between the heartless and Riku, her feeling of control never wavering.

"Okay . . . now what?"

[Kyla: Shipwreck Cove: Underwater]

The mer-girl turned upside down to observe the last minute addition to their team.
“John! Glad you can join us.” She replied as she righted herself again, this weightless movement felt so freeing, like being in space!
It was like they were flying over a massive canyon- everything about the sea was revealed with their new mer-people vision. To think the world was so deep and vast beneath the waves- honestly.. humans were missing out on one heck of a sight.

She would have to – why not?

Kyla summoned her book, might as well try and see. As she pressed her quill to the pages she was absolutely delighted to see the pages seemed to be protected somehow. A magical lamination that kept them from being water logged-which included the quill! When she pressed the tip to the paper it worked just fine and she began to happily sketch the sight of the underwater world around them into her visual journal.
She draw the sight of Kyle swimming backwards into the open expanse as they exited the cove and she followed him over. As John chatted she could see he too eventually was taken aback by the sight of the underwater world that was now in sight beyond the confinements of the cove.
Just like being on land, there was a horizon, with a vast blue film canopy which was the surface. It was a wavering blue- like a whole new sky, overlooking a world of deep cassums that seemed to go down into massive valleys below.

“Oh my… it’s so deep! Like flying down a mountain range! I wonder if birds feel this way… without the wind blast of course.”

[ Ajora : Paris : Beauvais Manor Ballroom ]

"You flatter me," he responded, and as the song came to a close, he stepped back and formally bowed, as he'd seen others due at the end of a dance. "I think, if you don't mind my gluttony, I'll finish dinner before doing anything else. I actually haven't eaten since lunch, and that seems like ages ago. My stomach is attempting to digest my liver, and I'll need that for the wine and champagne."

Chuckling, he motioned toward their table with one hand, as if to allow the lady first. If she preferred to go elsewhere, he would have simply moved on to his dinner.

[ ??? : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]

"Welcome back, Nicholas."

The familiar, feminine voice traveled from the cold throne at the end of the hall. While everything still seemed identical, such as the hall's lack of decoration and her completely hidden form, one thing was different-- missing. The spherical machina and its two powering towers were gone, having been removed and transferred.

"So you've made your decision to stick with the Replicas," she called, more a statement than a question. "Did you enjoy yourself in the Pharos?"

[Nick :: Narnia :: Jadis' Castle]

Nick looked up towards where he thought the voice was coming from, forming what appeared to be a sincere smile. "Thank you very much, Teacher. Unfortunately, I have chosen to stay with the Replicas. I wasn't quite cut out to be a full time spy, I'm afraid. I do believe Louis can handle that position much better than I was able to." The Pharos? That's an interesting name... He scratched his chin, then gazed around the hall.

"Teacher, I'm sorry to cut this discussion so short, but would you like to join me for a meal? I haven't eaten all day, so I need to eat something. But I wouldn't mind continuing our conversation." Letting out a deep breath, Nick shifting his gaze upwards towards the ceiling. I wonder what food I can actually eat here. Hopefully something with meat in it. I always did like the taste of murder. He snickered to himself at his 'joke', wondering why the castle felt so quiet.

[ ??? : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]

"I... am not hungry, but I'll have the others prepare a meal for you," she responded, her forlorn tone the same as earlier in the day. She looked off to the side for a moment, hesitating.

"Tromell?"

An elderly guado appeared in the doorway to the side, looking all too eager to please, even in his old age. "Yes, mistress?"

"Dinner for Sir Nicholas, please," she requested, motioning toward the young man. The guado looked toward Nicholas and nodded.

"Of course, madam. Does Sir Nicholas have any preferences?" he asked. The moment Nicholas responded, he would have vanished beyond the doorway once again, but not without first lightly waving a hand; a medium-sized table appeared in the center of the room, in front of young man, with a chair out and waiting for him to take a seat.

[Nick :: Narnia :: Jadis' Castle]

"Thank you, Teacher. Are you going to join me or do you have a previous engagement?" The Dark Knight inquired, looking briefly at the elderly Guado with a blank stare. His lips formed into a small pout, as if he was seriously contemplating a complex puzzle.

"...Steak and potatoes. And maybe some fresh bread if you can make it." He called to Tromell before whispering to himself, "Steak and potato sandwiches are awesome." His grin widened before turning towards the cloaked woman. He didn't mind eating alone, but having someone to converse with would be a lot better. Not that he would say it aloud, but since he had been here, Nick had felt pretty lonely. Teacher was distant, Seymour was pretty much a sociopath, Chaos was annoying as f*ck, Ajora and the other Replicas were more likely to think of him as a tool than an actual person, and Louis, the only other Earthling who wouldn't try to kill him on sight...would likely kill him on sight.

So yes, he was a bit lonesome, but he couldn't let that stop him from his journey. He needed power. He needed strength. He needed the knowledge to help him create the world how he saw it. The perfect utopia.

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cove ~.~ Uppermost Balcony -> Secluded Balcony]

Louis' words surprised Anthony. He hadn't thought about their conversation for awhile, with all the bathroom shenanigans and whatnot. He watched him walk away. When the knight couldn't see the Ivalician anymore, he shied away from the others and followed.

The young man found Louis on another balcony. He kept a small distance. He cleared his throat to make his presence known, then remained quiet for a moment. "I've made my decision," Anthony finally said. Another pause. "I want to learn."

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]

Riku nodded, seemingly impressed. "Six. Not bad for your first time while in the Light. Probably due to that Corridor," he explained, looking between the six creatures and Noelle. She didn't seem to feel weary or strained, which was definitely a good sign. She was handling the pressure well.

"Hmm... now, try to let them go, and then recapture them, so to speak," he suggested, keeping his blade at his side. "It will give you an idea for what a free Heartless feels like, which is handy for two reasons. First, if we come across any free-roaming Heartless, we can turn them to our side instead of having more enemies to fight. Second, and arguably more important, if we come across Heartless and you can't command them..."

His eyes narrowed somewhat, though not in suspicion-- in emphasis. "Then we'll know that someone else already is. And that little head's-up can make all the difference."

[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]

Elleon smiled at Ajora’s charm, tucking one foot behind the other and curtsying before accompanying him back to the table. She sat back in her large chair and resumed drinking her tea. The cup had grown a little cold in her absence, so she motioned for one of the servers to bring her more. They returned with a tea tray with two porcelain cups and saucers, a beautifully crafted teapot of hot water, tea infusers, and cream and sugar cubes. The Replica fixed herself a fresh cup and left the second for Ajora should he want any. Settling back into her chair, she watched her guests dance again, only looking over to the ballroom entrance at the heralder’s announcement of another guest. A look of impatience crossed her masked face. The newest arrival was none other than Claude Frollo.

“Figures,” the petite blonde hissed under her breath, “I knew he’d come snoop.”

The judge took little time in making his way over to the table where the ball’s hostess and esteemed guests sat, though seemed leisurely in his approach. Each guest he passed acknowledged him graciously and made a hard-to-read face at his leave. Elleon was all smiles at his arrival. She was an interesting character.

“Good evening, my fair Lady.” Frollo greeted her, his deep rolling voice sinking below the merry tones of the orchestra. “This is quite the celebration.”

“Good evening, Judge Frollo.” Elleon replied lightly, “I was hoping you would stop by. Could I interest you in a cup of tea?”

“Oh no, my Lady. I was merely coming by to be sure that this celebration of your dear Aunt’s life wasn’t leading to impurities.” He said in a very heavily implied manner.

Elleon brushed off the comment like it wasn’t as threatening as it was intended to be. “You’ll find nothing but piety here, good Sir, and I would have it no other way. Waiter, could you please bring me the box we spoke about?”

The young servant she called to responded with a quick nod and stepped away. He was back within seconds, holding a modest-looking carved wooden box. The waiter handed the box to her, which she then presented to Frollo.

“I pulled out a little something as a church contribution after the service for my Auntie Beauvais—it was beautiful. Consider this my thanks.”

Frollo took the box with a skeletal hand and pocketed it in a manner that seemed very natural, as if he’d performed the same action many times before. Once done he turned his cold gaze to Ajora, “And who, may I ask, is your charming escort this evening?

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]

Noelle nodded in understanding before cautiously turning her attention back to the Heartless she’d summoned. Give up control, that’s what she wanted to do—sounded easy enough . . . but how? She thought to put it in terms of how she summoned Titan again. The relation was pretty close, so she figured that giving up control of the Heartless would feel similar to dismissing Titan. It was merely a matter of no longer exerting her will over them. It seemed risky, but she didn’t want to quit now. Gradually she eased out of her control over them, watching as they seemed to become more aware of their freedom. They looked to Riku, naturally drawn to the keyblade bearer. Once she had completely released them she took a few steps back. The agromancer knew that Riku was in no real danger—should they attack he’d cut them down with one strike—and this made her feel a little less on edge. However, it was unfortunate that the Heartless wanted to attack so soon after she’d let them go. Noelle wanted to take a little time to try and get a sense for what Riku was talking about how free-roaming Heartless “felt” like. There wasn’t much time for that, because as soon as they got the chance, the Heartless began moving for Riku.

Taking a steady breath, Noelle concentrated on regaining control. It was like taking hold of a metaphorical leash. These Heartless were like walking little lap-dogs. If they were anything other than Shadows then, at this level, they’d probably feel like trying to walk a Great Dane; too much pull for her proficiency. Reclaiming the heartless was definitely not as easy as summoning them, though. It felt like they moved to fast for her to “catch their leash.” The blonde pulled four of them back in under her control, but the last two seemed too out of reach and jumped for Riku before she could capture them. She quietly cursed herself and watched with an apologetic look, feeling a little guilty despite knowing that taking out two Shadows was child's play for him.

[Lucian ~.~ Neverland ~.~ Skull Rock]

Lucian laid in the middle of Skull Rock with his arms and legs spread out. He, along with Nega-Amy, had managed to get away from Kuja, though not without obtaining a few souvenirs. He touched his side and winced. The burn from the Fiagra was still tender. "@#%$ing butt-caped pansy," the fallen knight cursed as he slowly rose to his feet. He walked over to the "mouth" of the cave and glanced at the water surrounding the island. "How 'bout we get the hell out of this cave and find us something to do?" he suggested to the other. "But first, let's give you a name. I'm tired of calling you 'Not-Amy' or 'Nega-Amy.'"

[ ??? : Neverland : Skull Rock ]

The broken arm snapped back into place as the Curaga did its job. Lucian's healing could wait; she came first. Always and first. Attentions toward others were always met with disregard anyway. Other sores and bruises on her body began to disappear as well.

"I don't have a name," Amy's replica snapped. "If I'm not Amy, I don't $#!$*ing deserve to exist." She shook her healed arm, testing its strength, opening and closing her fist. "I'm rejected... exiled. No hope of a Promise for one such as I, ha! Such as we. I know damn well what I ought to be, but all virtue is gone. I cannot summon it up; it doesn't exist. Now come 'er so I can heal you."

If he did come, which, by the by, wasn't actually required (she could heal from a distance), she would grab him roughly and place a hand over whatever area needed healing. If he complained she would snap, "quit your #!%*^in'", "don't be a pansy," or something similar.

[Dusk : Caribbean : Below Deck of the Flying Dutchman]

"Well f$^! you too, then," Dusk hissed to herself when Ajora didn't respond and she left him to his little fantasy world. She proceeded to walk through the ship. With the cloaked Yoko following her. She couldn't help, but cringe at the crew as she passed them by. The undead that had the moss and alge on them reminded her of something she would see in a lake. Where fish would take their craps, those disgusting creatures...

As she wandered the ship she soon came upon the sleeping quarters. The room seemed rather empty except for one person (Saint), who appeared to be sleeping in one of the cots. To her amazement, and relief, he didn't appear to be one of the normal crew.

"I have to say," she said in a smooth and collective voice, "For a place so disgusting, good to know there is at least one pearl hidden."

[Lucian ~.~ Neverland ~.~ Skull Rock]

"Words are coming through one ear, and out the other--FFF--KELLY CLARKSON!" Lucian cried out when Nega-Amy grabbed his side. "Holy crap, Dr. Kevorkian. Take it easy, yeah?" After she snapped at him, the Replica didn't make another peep until she had finished healing him. "Feels good as new."

The fallen knight skipped to the entrance of the cave and stepped out, beckoning his companion to join him. "C'mon, no-name, let's find us some Lost Boys!"

[Jenny :: Shipwreck Cove :: Uppermost Balcony (Rose Ramp)]

The mage jumped as she heard someone address her; and almost instantly she felt guilty for her ire against Kyle, as if her fatigue caused misplaced anger just because he was frustrated. Jenny frowned before she shook all ill thoughts from her head; well, she tried at least. Then she turned about to face Mathy, the blue mage that had called them to the training room. Her mood lightened a little as she tried to formulate a response.

"They're going down to Atlantica, to warn everyone. But I feel like it's kind of silly? Well no, it's a good cause, but I'm kind of worried... and well, I dunno. I feel like a bad mushroom, because I'm tired and well grumpy. Err, that doesn't really answer your question does it? Sorry for my input of feelings... fudge fizzling flamingos, yes, thay're going to Atlantica..." she responded, though by the end of her mini tirade, her voice had fallen to a whisper.
