I was going to make this a thread, but I couldn't think of an actual discussion topic to associate it with. So I'm just going to relate the situation.
Kani wanders down the hallway from her room. She's heading for the kitchen. Up the stairs, comes her roommates boyfriend, holding a can of shaving cream. Alright, so Kani stands to the side and lets him make his way into the bathroom at the top of said stairs. A few paces behind him comes Kani's roommate; totally naked, in a white towel. Casual greetings are exchanged, Kani goes to the kitchen. Since having returned, there are conversational voices and the shower has started running.
I REALLY don't want to know. She's a nice girl. I hope she moves out.

I'm leaving to the airport in about seven hours or so and just wanted to tell you guys how much I'm going to miss you.
I wasn't on yesterday a lot because my internet connection was shaky (again) and then I went to the U2 concert (which was awesome by the way)

In twelve minutes, I shall focus myself entirely upon the six page research paper I have been procrastinating against for almost a week and have yet to begin.

Reading the what religion are you thread also raises a question: why are so many people here agnostics and atheists? What is it about Gaia that attracts large amounts of people that tend to be minorities in the real world? These questions aren't to criticize anybody; as a matter of fact I've been thinking about them for a while myself and couldn't come up with a good explanation.

They got old and just because you have enough money to buy talent doesn't mean you're a good baseball team. Edit: Oh, and then there's A-rod and his trying to smack the ball out of the glove. Heh.

I see the typical money argument is raised in question here and to that I have two responses. First money doesn't nessecary make a team (contrast the A's and Batimore's win verses total salary for example) and second the Yankee's earned their money (as did the Red Sox's, another big market team). You can't really hate a team for being succesful; the Red Sox themselves have had a really good record for a long time but were just never good enough to win the World Series before. Since New York is a big market naturally the Yankee's will have access to much capital.
