Focht was still in a half asleep state, a fair distance off but easily within hearing distance for him. By now, the wind had carried his scent enough she could tell he was somewhere close by but how close was questionable. The smell of fish was gone though, taken care of by a quick clothes change from a stash of his out here in the woods almost long forgotten.

*Yotsuba sighed lightly in no hurry to really do anything, since the only thing she hated most about her eyes being bad at times like this was the fact that if others knew about it, it was terrible. So on days like this she tended to try and stay hidden from people she knew. She shook her head in disbelief*
"Of all days, why couldnt I have just learned to overcome this problem"
*She muttered quietly to herself as she leaned forward and tried to remeber how much distance was between herself and the ground. She thought for a moment and really couldnt seem to remeber which tree she was in, so she took her chances and just dropped from the tree hopeing that she wasnt falling too far and that she wouldnt hurt herself to badly*

Focht remained asleep and would probably continue to rest until something caught his attention. His tail was swaying off to the side as he sat underneath an old oak. What he was dreaming about was anyone's guess.

*Having decided to take the chance dropping from the tree probably wasnt a good idea at that time. Once she'd fallen from the branch she slept on she fell and landed on another branch that was closer to the ground, hitting it with her stomach. The force her body had gathered from the fall caused the unsturdy branch to crack and tumble to the ground with Yotsuba intact*

Focht's ears twitch at the sound of the breaking branch. Opening his good eye he looked around, waiting to see what caused the noise. For the most part he was ready to disreguard it as a natural occurance. His ears rotated listening for any more sounds that might accompany the falling branch. It was in the direction of Yotsuba but that was a large area.

*Yotsuba made a little noise when she hit the ground, she just kind of sat up and muttered an "owwie" and stumbled to her feet. Upon standing up she dusted herself off and made her way over to another tree to brace herself up as she blinked a few times and her sight was a bit better. She still couldnt see too well, but it was less blurr'd and she could make out her surroundings. She finally stopped and realized that she had fallen a good length and hit the branch. She placed her hand over her stomach and felt a sharp pain but did her best to ignore it. At most she thought she'd bruized something like she always did*

Focht chuckled to himself guessing she had a rude awakening. He shook his head and figured she would find him if she wanted to. Resting like this was nice to a point; he felt restless since there wasn't much for him to do. His tail continued to sway gently among the fallen leaves of the tree.

*Yotsuba sighed heavily her stomach hurt a little more then she'd expected it would. She leaned her back completely against the tree and slowly lowered herself onto the ground so she could be sitting on level ground and not be clumsy and topple over. She felt more then a little uneasy and had to much pride to tell herself or anyone around her that she was hurting. She shut her eyes tight and lifted her legs up so she could reach her knee's and hide her stomach, she curled over my knee's a little and layed her head on her arms ontop of her knee's. She let out a small sigh of relieif as her stomach pains slowly subsided from the pressure she was placing on it*
"Oh yeah . . . This is really what I wanted to be doing right now . . . How embarrassing"

Focht looked up and decided to get up off the ground and see if there was anything else out here. With a quick jump, Focht reached a branch about 10 feet up and sat down, leaning back against the tree. His leg was dangling down as he sighed.
"Things have changed around here......"

*Yotsuba felt the need to just sit for awhile since she was still in quite some pain. She lifted her head up some and tried to look around, having a little trouble making out exactly what everything was. She was utterly hating this, she knew better and still wore herself out. She reached her hand up to her nose and rubbed it a little, trying to hold back a sneeze. Having no luck with it she just moved her hand and let it go, her head shot back a little and instead of just a normal sneeze, once she sneezed she set the tree across from her on fire. Her head seemed to get really tight once she sneezed though when she finished it was like everything was clear again. Almost like a magik head cold, out with the sneeze went her eye sight problem, but sadly this was the first this had ever happened and she freaked a little when she opened her eyes to see the tree on fire*

Focht saw the smoke starting to rise from Yotsuba's general area and decided to go look. It wouldn't take him long to reach her since he was in a familiar area. He hoped he could get there in time to make sure the fire didn't spread. Jumping down, he headed towards Yotsy to make sure everything was ok.

*She blinked a couple times to make sure that she wasnt seeing things and that the tree really was on fire. She just stared for a moment before she realized that she could see fine again. Her attention quickly went back to the tree that was on fire, she wondered exactly how that happened because she would''ve felt the heat had it been on fire before her sight came back to her. Then upon giving it more thought it dawned on her what must''ve happened. She shook her head and sighed a little, that too was rather embarrassing, something she didnt want to have to share with others. The tree still burning while she thought turned a bit brighter catching her attention once more. She knew she had to put the tree out but the only way she knew she could do it without hurting herself too much would be to place her hand on the bark of the tree itself. Normally any fires created by her could be put out just by her touch. She struggled to brace herself against the tree she was sitting under, trying to get to her feet. She clutched her teeth together as her pain became real again, perhaps it wasnt just a bruise*

Focht walked up and saw her sitting and leaning against the tree. He walked over and knelt down next to her, a questioning look on his face. The tree wasn't an immediate concern to him since the forest would always grow back. His gauntlet was still hanging out of his pocket, like it had grasp the edge. He felt alittle sheepish asking her, his ears flattening alittle; but it was the only way to know for sure.
"You ok Yotsuba?"

*Yotsuba managed to get to her feet without too much strain. She looked at Focht, trying to mask her concern for herself*
"I'm Fine"
*She managed to get out before she was hit with another wave of pain. She ignored this barrage and again masked herself as she walked over to the tree. Since she could see well enough now she didnt stumble or fall, she just hurt everytime she took a step. She stopped close enough to the tree and looked at it hopeing at she could indeed put out this fire she started, even if she didnt intentionally start it*

Focht rose and watched. He didn't know what was going on but he was pretty sure she wasn't ok. Even if she hid it, he still could guess she was hurting from how he had found her.
"If you say so......."
Focht didn't sound convinced at all but there wasn't a sign he was going to force her to accept his help.
