 Nike's eyes were wide and then she closed them. "Forgive me Robert, but I cannot love you." She forced herself to look at him, even as the tears fell from her eyes.

She reached out as if she wanted to go to him. Robert had always been by her side and now she had hurt him. She put her hand down defeated. "I would have loved you...in time. Now I will never know." Her tears fell unchecked and she looked away unable to bear the weight of Robert's pain.

hana twitched as she slept. She still held on to Brago's hand as she laid on the bed asleep.
