"So I heard." Alex sighed before the quakes.
"...Guess the Barons are making fast progress.." He nervously laughed.
"Oh come on!" The doctor growled, glaring at one window in his office, watching the Barons outside. "Damn pirates.." He grumbled, turning back around. "Continue."
Demi blinked. On her face, what appeared to be a gas face was strapped on, connected directly to an oxygen tank. Her body was tired and aching. She had been told to run and up until the quakes she had been doing it non-stop, despite the fact her body wanted to quit. But she had orders to not stop, so she just continued running on the tredmill while the doctor penciled away observations.
