Star continued through the maze of trees reaching a small open aera before stoping in the middle of it. His back hunched slightly as he stood there. He moanbed before he fell over landing on his stomach his hands at his side. His eyes where half open as he looked off to the side his breathing a little slower then normal.

"What sort of mischief are you causing this time, Saphree?" a young voice yet stern asked.
Much like Reaper her younger brother, Jacob, had a tensisty to travel in the ways of shadows and the arms of old hagging trees. He was standing perfectly well balanced upon a twisted branch with the palm of his right hand pressed against the rough bark of the tree. A few dark strands of umber hair cascading over the boys' single blue eye. Ah, yes true that Jacob was actually quite a mute to nearly everyone in the entire clan of Black Amber. But, Jacob has known Saphree for quite some time and wasn't one to hesistate to state his opinions or thoughts when it came to Saphree.

Star turned his head and stared at jacob before slowing sitting up. He kept his eyes locked on Jacob for a bit as if trying to remember his anme before speaking.* ....Ah....Reapers little brother.........I remember you now...you've actually changed a bit since I last saw you little man. I take it you two are doing quite well?

Jacob's right eyebrow twitched rather noticably at the nickname in which Saphree chose for him. The boy was rather sensitive when it came to his height seeing how nearly everyone including the women were taller then him. In the back of his mind he knew for a fact that Saphree did it on purpose just to put him on edge. Fingers lightly rapping against the trunk of the tree to calm down his nerves before speaking once more.
"Our conditions are none of your concerns but I could foresee we are doin' better compared to you." the boy answered.

Star slwoly stood up before shaking his head letting the hair fall over his eyes*...Heh...still as rude to me as ever....I guess you never did truly trust me huh?......Cant say I blame you...Your trust is hard to earn Jacob.Star moved the hair from his eyes they had regained some of thier natural glow but still darker then usaul.*...So how have you truly been?

"Our status has been fair nothin' as of late has caused any change of any sort to our lives. I could say the opposite to your own. Don't hesistate to faint on me I'm sure it'll become a bitter sweet memory later on in my life time." Jacob answered with a michevious grin.
Unlike with others Jacob was actually fairly daring and outspoke when it came to Saphree as well. The manners he had learn from his eldest sister simply seem to vanish as he spoke to this man beneath him. His mix matched eyes baring down upon the man with dark peril eyes.

Star shook his head*Weary...battle fatigue if you will....I;ve been fighting him again...I dont know how but Carnage lives. I know he wont come here...somwthing about this place he fears......I;ve been in so many fights my strength hasn;t fully recovered at all*Star looked at the swaying grass then back up at the eyes the glared at him*

"Foolish human,' Jacob spoke head shaking softly from side to side as he gave a tsk tsk sound from his lips. "Always over exirting one self only to cause your conditions to grow worse. I truely wonder at times how the Humans ever manage to thrive in such a blood thirsty world."
That grin only broaden at that remark. "Then again..a blood thirsty race does suit a blood thirsty planet."

Stars face held a grimmace for second before he looekd at the young boy fromt he corner of his eye*....Dont get me started..I could say it was us weak humans who killed your race...but I'm not that blood thirsty..>i only mean to protect..I dont kill without reason Jacob......aBut i guess being human is why you never trusted me in the first place...thinking I would betray you?.....Please...I have been betrayed by my own people.......I dont need the survivor of powerful race to tell me we humans....are weak....pathetic creatures

Jacob was a bit disappoinited at the fact he didn't completely ignite the mans temper but he did hit the weak spot. That was good enough to let the boy continue to grin. Till Saphree brought up the past history of his own people and Reaper's. True their species might have been powerful and great but they lacked the numbers in which Humans spawn. They were like a disease that only continued to grow and grow over populating the planet. No matter how great one's powers may be in truth all things must come to an end. It was only a matter of time till Jacob's people and Reaper's met their true end and will vanish from the world that gave so little.
"Don't give yourself so much credit..' Jacob started his head tilting lightly to the left. "Like all beasts you will eventually meant the end of your own time. I can only pray that I will still be thriving when that day comes. I'm more complex then you think, Saphree, so don't get ahead of yourself. You may find yourself in a deeper pit then expected."

Star chuckled softly*...Please Jacob....You should know....even if we didnt come after your race...this land would be rid of all life.....we humans are destructive at heartt......a plague...that cant be stopped untiol we commit genocide of our own kind.....true there will be a few that liove...but it will be eons before humans ever reach even the thousands once again...and I have seen. it....the rise of a race....much like yours....from the ashes of this world

"All in due time we shall see now won't we?" Jacob continued. Taking not of the constant pauses during Saphree's statement. Showing him how worn out he truely was. How amusing it would be to see how long the man would be able to stand upon his own two feet. He had already managed such for several minutes but it seemed it was beginning to dwindle now. How many times have the two of them been intertwine in this constant arguement? More times then Jacob could count yet it seemed to never growing tiring to him.
"Now..what the hell are you doing here, Saphree? I know for a fact that trouble has a tendency of following you."

Star's arm twitched hearing Jacob tlk like that*.......................................Star closed his eyes then opened them again after taking in a deep breathe* Listen Here Jacob...I could have said the same for when I first met you and your sister.....Just cuase you dont like my race doesnt mean we all bring trouble...Tell me...How many other humans woh found out your past kept housing you? Not all of us are decietful cretins......though you wouldnt know it from the majority

"You idiot." Jacob simply stated. "I wasn't referring to all your people I was simply indicating your personal self. You better start to listen more carefully or that tongue of yours is going to get skewered. Which I'm sure no one would mind doing seeing how you may actually shut that mouth of yours for once."
The boy looked at him boredly now as his head slowly tilted to the other side causing the strands of his dark umber hair to cascade about. Revealing the other deep jungle brush eye which seemed to be more cold then the other.
