Old Man KB I hope they let us add new gear and stuff by the time we have to fight, Haelstrom. KB will fight Omi using grappling hooks tethered to chains. They can wage a ranged-weapon melee war on one another. Time to get grappled, with style! Cheh! Soon as Vintrict's done making Omi's new look, I'm going to run it by the judges (considering it only changes one thing in regards to equipment, and it's about as mundane as you get) - so you may further understand..
GRAPPLE IS DEAD.
(GRAPPLE-IS-DEAD)
Now, this is all provided I win. It's entirely possible I've lost my first round, because I didn't get:
-Killed. -Paired with some f** who stands there shuffling his sword.
Striker. KB.

The Haelstrom Fist Just Naota Anyone who deducts points for grammar is a tool. To be fair, anyone who fails the basic elements of grammar unto the point they need points deducted is a larger tool.I doubt anyone in the tournament, not that I read all the fights, is that bad off with their grammar and/or writing. I'm pretty sure that all points deducted for grammar are just nit-picky. The incorrect use of a comma =/= a post being neither clear or concise. It's superficial. So... any judge who deducts points for it except under the most extreme circumstances is a ******** tool.

The Haelstrom Fist Sokoya Ramak I don't think that Sokoya or Hoshiko becoming a vampire would fare well for anyone. Anyone. Says you!
I'm not specific on the details of what vampirification does to the human body, but Omi already wants access to people's blood. Giving him extra incentive to do so would be equivalent to suicide.
Now that I think back, people've tried "converting" him in roleplays before.. one was blown up, the other got their fangs smashed out of their mouth and tried to summon their bodyguard/sex-slave to go chase Omi down while he bolted.
Ah, that s**t was great.Imagine, if you will, Sokoya as a vampire. Not only is she able to freely drain magic from magical attacks and people, but she now drains their very life energies and blood. But wait, there's more! She now has super strength and speed. Durable skin. Increased regeneration and limited ways to die. Couple this with her skeletal abilities. She wouldn't be fair for any sort of fighting.

I don't fully grasp the limits of Omi's blood, though, such things as burning blood seem to be popping up everywhere lately. It makes trying to eat people like that about as much fun as trying to eat a Xenomorph.
Still, as with Sey... the most obvious answer is to bleed them out conventionally and save the last litre for the dark arts of necromancy. It's a waste of course, but then since both Omi and Sey are mortal they'll always produce more blood, though perhaps in manageable quantities.
If Omi has a regular amount of blood though, and his fire power is exhausted once it is all used up... well, it won't be much of a challenge at all.

Sokoya Ramak She wouldn't be fair for any sort of fighting. Says YOU.
Omi's had to fight some pretty ridiculous s**t. And he did it with gusto. Super Sucking Vampire doesn't sound all that scary in comparison.
Also, PENDULUM STEP IS NOT MY WEAKNESS. It's happened 4x. The first time was iffy and I was really just ******** around when I joked about it. The second and third time were flat out retarded. The fourth time was me viewing it from a third person.
DON'T CURSE ME.KB I don't fully grasp the limits of Omi's blood, though, such things as burning blood seem to be popping up everywhere lately. It makes trying to eat people like that about as much fun as trying to eat a Xenomorph. If Omi has a regular amount of blood though, and his fire power is exhausted once it is all used up... well, it won't be much of a challenge at all. Ah, but he's not like the two fellows I've fought with ACIDIC FIRE BLOOD. Just going "oh I got blood. Touch." doesn't suddenly make you ********. That's the upside to trying and eat him.
The downside would be his ability to make trying to nomnom him do far worse than simple burns if he gets his way. I think the funniest example was someone who managed to take a finger of his once and swallowed it.
It was the best.Quote: The incorrect use of a comma =/= a post being neither clear or concise. It's superficial. So... any judge who deducts points for it except under the most extreme circumstances is a ******** tool. The thing is, if you can't put effort into using proper grammar a majority of the time, you're probably faltering elsewhere. Not always the case, but 9x/10 the truth. Plus, what point is a grammar/writing category if people aren't called on it at least to some mild extent?
Part of judging is as much telling people where to improve as who won. And if that area to improve is "hey, you misspelled like 38 things in one post and inadvertently made this and this unclear, what the ********?" - that's how it goes.
If it's "YOU MISSPELLED ONE WORD BY A CHARACTER, 4.97/5" - then it's nothing to complain about since such a minor error probably won't affect you in any significant manner. It's when you do it consistently however..

People should be held accountable for grammar and spelling to a point.
That point should be the commonly accepted quality of roleplay in the tournament, and not someone's interpretation of their English courses. If a full-time career editor or an English professor came in here and read our posts they would find tonnes of mistakes. Also, since we're not holding ourselves to novel writing it doesn't make any sense to hold anyone else to it.

Old Man KB Or choking him out like a woman, what with that long hair of his. s**t, you know, I've always thought "why don't people do this?"
Then I remember GTB II when someone -did- do that, and its aftermath.
