"You could have it right now," she suggested, pointing to her right arm. "Punch me right there. Then we'll have hit eachothers' weak spots," she nodded.

Cody appeared in a small poof, falling a couple feet and hitting his back on the ground. "I can never land on the ground..." he told Uxie who floated next to him, giggling. "Seems that way, huh?" it said in between giggles.

MISSION- Flame on! Go find a fire pokemon!
Pokemon: Any non evolved, non legendary fire pokemon
Money: 600
The day was young, and the group was heading toward the park. Today there was a huge event going on over there, and the girl had wanted a chance to relax a little. Besides, entering this event would mean that she was training her pokemon and still relaxing a little at the same time. A huge crowd of people had already gathered, and so she had to push through the crowd.
“Excuse me, pardon..sorry!” she said, before finally reaching the stage. There were five other trainers entered in this contest, making this a total of six. Three males and three females, making the genders evenly matched.
The announcer stood, microphone in hand and smiled at the crowd. “Well, are we ready to get our yearly Relay Tournament started?!”
The crowd roared happily, with agreement and excitement.
Kisumi was a little nervous, after all it seemed that she was the youngest entered in this contest. But they could do this…hopefully.
“Alright, our first event will be the relay race! So ready your pokemon!”
The trainers quickly strapped their pokemon to sleds that were weighed down with rocks.
Kisumi grabbed the harness and gently but quickly strapped it around Kage’s body. “Okay, this is it. We need to show them whose the best!” she whispered softly to him. “I’ll be waiting at the finish line.”
Kage let out a bark of agreement, glancing at his opponents. He stared straight ahead, preparing to leap forward.
“Alright….on your marks…get set….GO!” the announcer shouted before shooting off the starting gun.
All the teams surged forward, Kage in the lead along with three other pokemon. As they raced in circles, dodging what they could and running the whole while, the race continued. There were really no rules, so pokemon were using certain moves they knew to their advantage.
Slowly one by one, pokemon started to drop out. Kage watched as a Pikachu got hit by a particularly strong blast of solar energy. Then a Bulbasaur got hit by a strong shower of stars that had been launched by a Rattata. The group narrowed until it was only three pokemon left. The race was close but this was the final lap. The two pokemon in front of him were a Houndour and an Eevee. But the Houndour latched his teeth onto the harness, snarling angrily and the Eevee’s sled went flying.
Kage gathered his remaining energy, and growled annoyance at the Houndour.
The Houndour shot a powerful flame at the other dog pokemon.
Kage snarled angrily, his fur burning feeling the scorching heat. Shaking his head, he realized that he felt a new power within him. They were less then a yard away from the finish line, when he built up the energy. A huge black ball shot from his mouth and hit the Houndour squarely in the chest sending him flying back far enough so that Kage crossed the line first.
“The winner is this Poochyena!” The announcer said, stepping up to Kage and placing a medal around the dog pokemon.
“On to the next event!”
Kisumi rushed up to Kage, picking him up and hugging tightly. “Awesome job! I knew you could do it!”
Kage yipped excitement, before settling down. His fur still stung from the flame attack, but he was alright.
“Trainers line up your pokemon!”
This time Akito, the Hoothoot lined up with the other pokemon. The purpose of this event was basically a battle to the end while avoiding the attacks that were aimed at all of them.
This event was a mixture of paired pokemon and single, depending on who you decided to enter with.
The whistle blew and the games began.
Akito flew immediately into the air, eyes narrowed against the sun. He perched against one of the nearby trees, and just watched the battles unfold. Already one of the pokemon, a loner Wingull had dropped. He had been hit by one of the random attacks aimed up towards the gathered bird pokemon.
Now, as he watched curiously, everyone was preoccupied with each other to notice him just sitting there. The bird tucked his wings in, and gazed calmly. There were two other groups left. A Taillow with a Pichu on his back, and a Pidgey partnered with a Castform. Akito watched as the Pichu leapt into the air, surprising everyone with a Thunderbolt attack. It was a direct hit, and the Pidgey pair dropped to the ground.
Suddenly the Pichu’s gaze turned to focus on him, and then smirked.
Akito let out a hoot of surprise! It was that stupid Pichu that he had lost to a battle last time! Flapping his wings swiftly, the bird rose into the air. The Taillow and Pichu were already on their way rapidly towards him. He had to think of something fast, so that he could have the first attack. Not really thinking, he used the only attack he could think of. The bird flew up high, then tucked in his wings for a Tackle attack.
The Pichu smirked, this was gonna go just as planned. The pokemon gathered her stored energy, before preparing to completely shoot her enemy out of the sky! He was getting close…closer…just a little bit…there! Without a second’s hesitation, she leapt off of the Taillow and leapt directly onto the Hoothoot’s back. “Piiii…chuuu (Now isn’t this familiar?)” she said cruelly, before releasing her Thunderbolt!
The bird struggled unhappily, but could feel the numb paralyzing effect from the shock. The sheer power was immense, and he had fainted even before he hit the ground.
Kisumi had been watching, and caught Akito before he hit the ground. She shook her head, because so far he hadn’t been able to win any battles. Maybe she should train him some more, like with extra hard work so he could get better. “It’s okay Akito, you did your best.”
The announcer crowned the winners, before gathering before the crowd. “Alright! Time for our last event of the day! So far, we have two people tied for first place! Team Aqua’s Kisumi!”
The crowd roared and clapped.
“And Team Magma’s Bryan!”
The other half of the crowd shouted and clapped.
The male from their previous battle smiled happily.
Kisumi shook her head, but instead turned to Kai. “Okay this is the last event for the day. Let’s make it count and do our best!”
“Pachiii (Of course!)” the squirrel pokemon retorted happily.
“And it begins!” the announcer cried. “Our last event is the obstacle course!”
Kai lined up against the other pokemon, his face completely serious. There was no time to mess around, and everything was as it should be.
“GO!” the announcer shouted.
The pokemon took off, Kai in the lead. The first part of the obstacle course was jumping over hurtles. This was no problem for the squirrel pokemon who had been raised jumping and leaping all over everything. A Skitty managed to knock over some, startling other pokemon. But there was still a Shinx and another pokemon behind it still following on the squirrel’s tail.
The second part of the obstacle course was a huge lake, with several ropes hanging from the trees. The squirrel pokemon took a leap, but almost didn’t make it. He had misjudged his aim, and almost fell into the water.
“Pachiii! (Stupid mistakes.)” he growled to himself. He flew through the ropes and landed safely on the other side. Glancing back over his shoulder, he saw that the Shinx was attempting to swim but it would take a long time. Not caring who else was in the race, the Pachirisu headed toward the last obstacle.
It was basically a bunch of different level square wood pieces, sharpened on certain sides. Piece of cake. The squirrel began, and when he was half-way through, his opponent appeared.
“Chimchar! (So you are my opponent.)” the monkey pokemon said, smugly. He closed his eyes and then shot forward, rolling into a flame wheel. Instead of heading towards the finish line which was close by, he ended up trying to roll over the Pachirisu. Kai leapt from side to side, barely able to dodge every attack.
“Quit fooling around!” Bryan called to his pokemon angrily.
The Chimchar muttered under his breath, but rolled instead toward the finish line.
The squirrel struggled to catch up, but gathered his remaining energy. This was it…Running as fast as he could, he managed to leap directly onto the rolling Chimchar. Fire scorched his fur, but he let loose a huge discharge of electricity!
The monkey squealed and paused, rolling on the ground, more surprised then in actual pain.
With one last painful leap, the squirrel leapt off the monkey before he stopped spinning and leapt through the finish line. He had managed to win!
“Looks like we have our winners for the day!” the announcer yelled. “Team Aqua’s Kisumi! Congratulations! You have won our tournament. The prize you receive for today is this poke ball which contains a Growlithe and this basket of stuff. The basket contained one potion, five poke balls, and $100 PD. Congratulations again, and this concludes this year’s Relay Tournament!”
The crowd came and congratulated Kisumi and her team. A medical team in the area healed her pokemon to full health.
Bryan glared at Kisumi and strode up to her. “You may have won this time. But just wait until next time!” The pokemon that were with him was his Pichu, the Houndour whom Kage defeated, and the Chimchar that Kai had beaten. With that said, he walked off.
“Team Aqua is the better team!” she said, childishly. Turning to her team, she gave them a hug and smiled happily. Today’s adventures were now over.
“Oh well, another day has passed…better go turn in our mission report.” Kisumi said, heading back to HQ.
[EDITTED: AFTERWARD...The TRUE capture of the Growlithe]
Kisumi glanced at the pokeball, and shrugged. "Guess we should see what he's like."
Kage glanced at the pokeball, wearily.
The young girl tossed the pokeball and the red light flashed blindingly. When it faded, the Growlithe stood lips curled back and bared his fangs.
"Growwlll! (Who the heck are you?!)" he growled angrily, neck fur bristling. The fiery dog pokemon's claws slid out, and he bared his lethal white fangs.
Kage stood protectively in front of Kisumi, maw spread in a snarl. "Poo..ch..yee..na... (Leave her alone.)"
Kisumi gazed puzzled at the Growlithe. "I wanted you to join our team." she said.
The Growlithe growled amused, his fiery eyes mocking. "Grow...lit..he...(Defeat me in battle, and I'll join your team.)"
"Pooch..(Gladly!)" Kage snapped angrily. The grey dog pokemon stepped forward, his eyes narrowed. With a snarl, he lunged forward slamming directly into the red dog pokemon.
The Growlithe staggered backward, hurt but pretending not to be. "Growlithe! (That was nothing.)" he retorted, trying to regain his balance. Stepping backward for a second, he then leapt forward pouncing on the Poochyena and then pinning him down. Taking a breath, he then opened his mouth and a flaming ember shot out!
The flames completely consumed the Poochyena. He growled angrily, and in pain. The flames faded, but they had already done enough damage. The Poochyena had been burned. Pain pulsed through his body, and he was moving at a slower rate. "Poochyena! (I won't give up!)" he growled to himself, before rising to his paws.
Both were close to fainting point. However they were being stubborn, and refused to give an inch. It was now up to whoever managed to deliver the last hit. The Poochyena's attack was up, so if he managed to hit the Growlithe, he would win.
Kage shook his head, ignoring the pain. Concentrating, he decided to use his newest move. Rushing in, he managed to stand directly in front of the Growlithe, and a large black ball rose from his jaws and shot directly at the fire dog before hitting him smack in the chest.
The Growlithe was fast, but not fast enough to dodge this attack. He had taken a lot of damage, and now he was out of energy. The fire pokemon collapsed to his knees, the fight gone from his eyes. "Growlll..(You win.)"
Kisumi grabbed one of her own pokeballs, tossing aside the one she had gotten to contain the Growlithe. In order for him to officially be a part of this team, he would have to be caught by the work of her pokemon. Swinging back her arm, she tossed it directly at the Growlithe. Her aim flew neatly through the air, to hit the Growlithe squarely on his back.
The red light completely consumed the fire dog pokemon, and it faded with the pokeball rolling on the ground. The ball rolled twice, before settling down as the center faded to white.
Going to pick up the ball, the girl smiled happily. "Welcome to the team, Kasai."
With all arguments settled, she rushed to the nearest pokemon center to heal everyone. It didn't take long, and they finished quickly. After giving a quick 'thanks', she left and headed back to HQ.

"Oh hai Cody!" Jack called out as he saw him fall. "Hah!" Jack looked back at Sammy and shook his head. "No I can't do that." He put on a Spanish accent and stood up. "For if a man beats someone with a weak spot, he has no honor at all." He sat back down and sighed. "And honor is all I have!"

Dark wakes up and sticks his head in the water. "Blar blar Tblahblablarh~" Talking underwater is hard. He sticks his head up for air and Gyarados surfaces. Dark recalls her. "KYYYYYLLE!" Dark shouts. His Charizard wakes up, flies out of the trees and scoops Dark up and they take off into the air. "How ya feelin' Dark?" Dark yawns. "A little better. I still think I need to straiten put my priorities." Kyle does a barrel roll. "Wheee~ Well have you told Whitney you're going back to Aqua yet?" Dark's stomach lurches. "Oh God... The ten year old walked wearily back into HQ. She was tired, today seemed like a long day... Holding back a yawn, she sat on the couch and chilled there for a second. "Hmm, sometime I should let all of you guys battle with other pokemon that have trainers. It should be an easy way for you to get experience." she muttered to Kai, who was closest.

Jack looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "No!" He said crossing his arms. He threw out his Wailmar's pokeball and hopped on him. He laid back on Wailmar and smiled. "Hey Wailmar, duck just below the surface so I can feel the water, please." The giant whale pokemon slowly ducked down and Jack sighed as he semi-floated on the water.

Donner sat in HQ, seeing someone enter. "Hmm? Hello there. Kisumi, right?" he asked, using his Lucario aura senses to make "magic", as some would call it.
