At least those characters looked like they were meant to be there, it wasn't modern Spawn, its was a giant, axe-wielding Spawn.
Now two Force-Users? I dunno, how the hell are they supposed to improve? Soul-blade lightsabers? Don't make me laugh.

Incredibly crappy, those characters were fanservice just as much as these characters are. They are apocryphal and have no real bearing on the storyline so there is no reason to get upset,just go with the flow and be glad that Vader is finally in a good fighting game.

The game has a storyline? o,O... Yes it doess (A good one compared to most fighting games) I take it you never played 3, the entire single player experience was a story mode.

Everyone likes fan service. Seriously just think of them as fun side options to the game. And besides, Johnny and I need to have a whole nother batch of our epic Siegfried vs. Nightmare fights.

Again all fanservice, you can't reasonably put Spawn (who was the modern Al Simmons not the Medieval Spawn), Link, and Heihachi into the mythos either. In fact they ignore their inclusion in 2 with SC3, just like they will for the main storyline of 4. They are their jsut for the fans to have fun with, and I will certainly enjoy playing this game. (WIth or without Star Wars Characters.) I'm a bit of a fighting game fanatic.

Too me the best fighter are the two Namco ones, Soul Calibur and Tekken. I haven't played much of Virtua Fighter though.

Yeah, come on des. there's nothing wrong with it. The technology in the game is already spanning multiple eras and mythos. What's wrong with the addition of a cool character?

I did enjoy it (as well as finaly beating you and your damn Killik with Sophitia) I DID NOT enjoy you guys slamming my controllers down after every match though. (They still work but a lot of the buttons as well as the left analog stick have a habit of catching now.)

Of coarse I lost a multi tap and at least two controllers so I know you're pain.
