Stephanie moved forward, throwing her blades at him as she slid between his legs, doubling around and leaping onto him piggyback-style, linking her arms around his neck tightly. "Checkmate!" As she focused her own strength and power, the mark of Control pulsated, flashing, before rising from her arm, and dying out like a wisp of smoke.
Cambyses watched from atop a building nearby, shrouded in a silver cloak. Odio knelt at his side like a beast, clad in black chains, his skin now a silvery luster. Cambyses spoke directly out of his mind, with a boyish, yet ominous voice, as the mark of Control appeared on his arm "The Pillar of Control has returned to it's original state. So it shall come to pass, the remaining six will flicker out, like the dying flames of menorah candles, as they too, return to us."

Kyosuke reached around prying her from the bulky armor with ease. "There is no checkmate against me." He began applying pressure to her with the massive relic power fist. A melee weapon used for tearing tanks apart.

Stephanie struggled against Kyosuke I won't lose.....I can't lose......"GEROFF ME!" She burst forth from his grip, and landed in front of him, her aura blazing wildly. Her swords rematerialized in her hands, now black and silver, and she looked herself over, taking note of her increase in power "I see now, my power.....was not His. I accept your offer, Konno Kyosuke, my power is yours to command"
Cambyses continued to watch from afar"How unexpected. The Child of Cataclysm has awakened....as a weapon for the Prince of Chaos....."

"Luckily, fighting is what we do best..." Despite trying to sound optimistic, it was clear he had his doubts in his mind.
"Only problem is that this time, we can't be as reckless as we're used to being; we're all out of spare chances at life with every. necromancer powerful enough to bring us back being dead."
"Not to mention, if Kyosuke is indeed even more powerful than before, we're in big trouble; he's not one to waste it all in one go. But still, how has he come back?"
"I'll take a look into it," Elise volunteered as she got up from her seat "it could be a key to beating him."
Izumi stood up as well. "I'll go with you; staying in groups may be the best course of action for us to take for the time being." The two headed out, off to meet with various contacts, leaving Vain and Bardok behind.
"So, has he made a move on any of you yet?"
"Not that I know of..."

Odio growled and grunted like a wild beast, looking down toward Stephanie and Kyosuke with a hungry expression
Marcus grinned as he finished his lunch and got up "That was fun, you guys are pretty cool. I'll see you later then?" He nodded, then went and paid for the food, and left the cafe. He headed back to school and made his way to the gymnasium, for Basic Combat.
Ashley smiled and nodded to Okako "Yes, I suppose you are right, though I just don't get either of them. Kinda funny, considering Annabeth is my sister" He stood up and grabbed his satchel "Well, I think I should get going, I have Physical Education next. See you around?"
Lumineria looked to Shizue with concern "It isn't your fault though, s**t happens. If you need support, I'll always be there for you" She turned away as she blushed, not realizing what she had just implied. She stood up, looking to the clock "It's almost time for the next class. Wanna walk back to the gym with me?"

"As your first order... Kill the one above us. Your second is infiltration. You must keep your wits about you. Keep your head. You will by our spy within their ranks. If you fail to hold their trust, I will kill you. Remember the punishment for failure is death and eternal torment in the Warp. No matter how strong you are now, without proving your worth to the Chaos Gods you won't become an immortal, eternal warrior such as myself. That is your goal before this is over. I will see you in the flesh... Possibly this evening." He opened a warp hole and threw Karura through. It immediately closed after she passed through. As his apparition melted away he said, "You are but a pawn at this point. Your mission is to prove your worth in order to survive the end of days I will bring about."
He awoke in his chambers. The day's ceremony and days worth of preparations had exhausted him. He walked through the halls of the ship until he came upon his mother laying unconscious surrounded by warp spawn and daemons. He kicked past them as they made way for him. He lifted her up and walked through the ship until he reached the prison. By this time she had woken up.
He entered the prison chamber. The walls were lined with dismembered bodies impaled on spikes. The interrogator was busily sharpening his tools of torture. He turned to Kyosuke as he entered. On the right pauldron of his Terminator armor was a woman, cut in two and impaled through the heart on a large spike. Her feint breathing could be heard. He had a plethora of tubes running from within his armor pumping into her dangling intestines, keeping her alive. The man smelled of rot. He was a warrior of Nurgle. "Place her in the room with the other." Kyosuke said to him. "Yes m'lord." He replied. Kyosuke placed Karura on the interrogation table and left.
The Interrogator picked her up with one hand and went into the brig. He chained her naked to the wall next to Shlag. She was breathing heavily and on the brink of madness. The Interrogator quickly left and the door locked behind him. Warp energy began to flow into the room once more.

"No. I don't believe he has yet." Kouri replied along with Asuka. "I also think we'll find out how he came back shortly."
"I guess so." Shizue replied getting up.

Stephanie grinned, with actual sincere happiness in her eyes. "I understand, I am happy to be of use, my Prince" she turned as he left, and focused her power "That's right, we have uninvited spectators!"
She leaped up onto the building, and faced Cambyses "Your stupidity will cost you your life!" She rushed him, intending to kill both of them with one attack
Cambyses vanished with his vassal, appearing on a building nearby. His voice rang out, as he spoke directly with his mind "My my, the Child of Cataclysm wants to play. Very well. Nihilum, go forth and give the child what she wants!"

Odio roared with delight, rushing the girl, talons outstretched and fangs dripping with frothy saliva. He ducked to the left as she attacked, rolling behind her before pouncing in her direction, a beastly grin on his face

Stephanie turned and blocked the attack with her blades, then slid underneath her opponent. She twirled around, slicing him into thirds swiftly. He burst into a puff of silver smoke, and vanished, and she continued, rushing Cambyses. "Idiot! You're not even going to dodge!?" She sliced his head off
"My my, such ferocity, you truly are the Child of Cataclysm, a true spawn of Chaos. But we cannot be destroyed, for we are naught but an illusion, we do not exist" His voice rang out with a demonic laugh, and Stephanie stabbed it through. She growled as it burst into silver smoke along with the body, and vanished.

"At least that gives us a chance to further bolster our forces. Safe to say the others are pulling together as well. Is there a planed meet up, or are we suppose to tackle this problem in cells?"

"I think there was a planned meet up. Hopefully nothing will occur to make this situation any worse." Kouri sighed. "Killing him once was hard enough... A second time... It took three of us last time and we almost failed..."

Xiaeriene entered the cafe, escorted by her husband, and she immediately spotted two of her former comrades. She motioned to Nergal, and they made their way over to the duo "Elise, Izumi, it has been ages. How are the two of you?" She was slightly nervous, as she had not seen them since returning from Fortis, and she was unsure how they would react to her paraplegia.

Asuka draped an arm around Kouri and gave her a hug. "Don't worry, we'll take care of that when the time comes."

"Well, I make dresses now, I run a boutique down the road. And Nergal and I have been happily married for sixteen years, and we have two beautiful children." She smiled, as she slid out of her powerchair into an empty seat After we arrived back in earth realm, we discovered we had ended up ten years in the past. Also, unleashing the full power of the Pillar left me in a paraplegic state. I do not regret it though, it has given me a whole new perspective on life."
