((Hasn't Rio been inside Morrigan's before? Or is his memory as short as the rest of him?))

((Long story short, same body, different soul. And if his memory was as short as the rest of his body, he'd have a better memory than an elephant xd ))

"Shouldn't you be with that freak?" Rioushu asked, then shook his head. "Nevermind, actually I have a question for you. Who owns this place? And are they currently here? If so I'll need you to point them out to me." Rioushu requested.

"Freak?" Quint asked, looking off to the side, shaking it off at Rioushu's next set of questions. "Uh, the owner of the mansion is out at the moment, and has been for a long time now.." His voice lowered at the thought.

"Though, I feel I am capable of handling anything that the owner could. So please, tell me how I can help you." Quint got up, now sitting on his behind, arms relaxed behind his head.

Rioushu very much doubted Quint would in fact help him with his goals for this place, but decided he'd ask anyway, if Quint caused trouble he'd simply do away with him. "Alright then, I'm looking to make this place my own. Now, I understand if you have a bit of trouble giving this place to me, so I'm willing to pay for this place, rather than just kill you and take it for myself. Consider yourself lucky, I would normally never make that offer." Rioushu said, looking at Quint curiously, wondering what his reaction would be.

Flat in the eyes, Quint tsked, "Too many blows to the head.."

"This illustrious building is Morrigan's, and I'm afraid it's not for sale.:

After placing a hand on his knee to aid standing, Quint straightened himself a bit, now looking at Rioushu in the eyes a bit more intently.

"So, unless you have other business.."

He gave a nod to the door.

Rioushu looked up at the ceiling and back at Quint, shaking his head. "No thanks, I do have some business left here, and that is to clear it of all other people so I can claim it my own. First, I'll start with the two people upstairs. After they're gone, I'm coming after you, I hope you'll be ready by then." Rioushu said, looking around for some stairs upstairs.

"Upstairs?" Quint questioned, looking up 'through' the ceiling. "Have fun with that, and don't forget that I'm still here! Would hate for you to tire yourself out before the finish line, eh?"

Of course, Rioushu getting what he wanted wasn't an option, but Quint yearned for their score to be settled. Add that to the fact Rio requested the home, Morrigan's home, for himself, and Quint swelled with anticipation for their fight.

Dante entered the room he looked around, his boots echoing on the hardwood flooring beneath him. Spying an ornate wooden chair in the far corner of the room, he moved towards it and took it in hand. He walked back towards the bed, set the chair down, and sat himself in it. He motioned Jeshia towards the bed with his hand, as though offering it to her as a seat, and then folded his hands behind his head in a very relaxed manner. If she did take his invitation to sit, she would have noticed that, despite the average appearing mattress which was covered in plain white sheeting, it was far more comfortable than at least three fourths of the beds that she had ever slept in. He looked towards the ceiling for but a moment, as though gathering his thoughts before speaking.

“Technically, this isn’t my place. It really belongs to Loki’s sister, Morrigan.”

His eyes widened slightly as though he had just recalled something that he should add for the safety of himself and others, and he quickly completed the thought.

“Loki Ravensgale, not your dear uncle.”

The word ‘dear’ seemed to drip with sarcasm, yet the thought was not lingered on for too long before he continued.

“More or less, I was sent here to play bodyguard. Apparently there were too many people wanting to relieve her of her head, and not enough wanting to take her to bed. So it became my job to ‘trim the fat’ so to speak, and make certain that the only ones who ever fought her were ones who had made it past me.”

This was followed by yet another pause, though this one was slightly longer than the rest. Almost as though it served as a sort of verbal changing of the scene.

“Before long she decided to have a contest. I always joked about it being ‘The Bachelorette: Gaia Edition’. I suppose that’s what it was, for her idea was to pick a suitor out of all those who ever interested her. Despite, or perhaps in spite of, the fact that I had not been her bodyguard for more than but a couple of months, she decided to add me to the list as well. Come to think of it, I might be the only person still alive who hasn’t yet disqualified himself. At most, there is still one more involved …”

His thoughts now shifted to Quint. How just moments ago, had he not been interrupted by either Roan or Jeshia, he could have said that he was the only one left will all certainty. Oh, well.

“We still haven’t yet found out who the victor is though. She went on an apparent vacation without a single word to anyone, and she has yet to come back. So I find myself now being more of a caretaker to her things and keeping her bats company, on an island full of people who, for the most part, I can’t really stand.”

It was at this moment that he was disturbed from story telling time by the presence of one of the bats he had just been talking about. The small creature had managed to slide it’s body under the door and into the room. It alighted on his shoulder and began chirping in his ear, almost as though it were talking to him. Even though that’s exactly what it was doing, it still looked rather comical to one who had never seen such a thing before.

The bat remained where it was as Dante turned back to Jeshia once again. His expression one of deep annoyance at the fact that this was the second time he had to defend what was Morrigan’s. Not only in one day, but in the very same hour at that. His next sentence to Jeshia reeked of this displeasure that he felt.

“Do you sense another untimely death about to occur? If not, then I’ll have no qualms about killing this one.”

*It wasnt often she found herself looking down at a building that matched her own abode in size, and it wasnt often she even thought about going to such places of her own free will.
But today... she was in search of something. Not to mention she needed some time away from 99, not thinking about him, to sort her own head out with regards to the surly and stubborn hitman.
To this end, a solid whump as she alighted on the drive out front of the mansion sounded, followed by the scrape of the metal plates on her boots.
The person... or persons... she sought would assumably know of her presence, so she didnt knock, nor enter, merely stood staring up at teh edifice, smoking one of her abominable cigars*

Having sat back down on the couch, Quint watched on at Morrigan's bats, who were still at work repairing parts of the floor he had blown small holes through. Their dilligent work was confusing however--Did they continue because of their concern and care for the woman, or were they simply puppets, doing what she would want?

Quint wasn't able to get too far into the subject because an unexpected, yet familar twinge ran through his head, he curious as to what it meant.

"Don't tell me its time already.." He asked, forming a plan to not only duck Roan, but to fight Rioushu as well. Hopping from the couch, Quint thought about Saturn and its moons while taking a stroll over to the stairs up. It was doubtful that she didn't know Quint was there, but Roan would have to come inside if she wanted him out, assuming that she was even there for him..

*In another one of the DeSeer's frequent bizarre outings, a flicker of light played alongside Roan for a moment, before a second horned figure showed itself, Yoachi standing next to his Sire as he tuned his own gaze upwards at the building*

You called, Lady? Nice place... and I smell one of yours...

*His voice was a sinister sussurus, indicating that for now at least, the personna known as 'Red' was in charge*

Mmm. Now you're home. I want to keep an eye on you kiddo. And for the record... TWO. Though I know which one you've cottoned on to...

*Smirking a little, she shuffled off her wings, nodding quietly to Take as the Daemon lord stood cowled next to her*

We have time.

The door shut behind her seemingly of its own accord when she entered. She paced across the room, her hands lifting to her braided hair, her fingers lacing into her silver locks. With a flick of her wrist, the long braid undid itself, the strands of silken hair flaring out elegantly for a moment before falling against her back, the effect that each strand was carefully wrought from the purest polished silver. As her hands lowered to her sides her dress would shift and alter itself into a more formal appearing attire, save for a badge and glasses.

Satisfied and much more relaxed, she would accept Dante's offer of taking leisure on the bed. Lying upon her side, her upper body supported by her elbow, she would listen to Dante's story, nodding along and, as he suspected, becoming just a little ruffled at the mention of Loki's name before the correction in Lokis was made.

However, she was intrigued by all this suitor business and was wondering if Dante actually had the fortitude to settle down with someone. That was something she would definitely have to keep an eye on once her full power had been restored.

Dante's comment would draw a sigh and a look of disappointment and slight concentration from her.

"No... there are no unplanned deaths in this vicinity, though that can also mean that no one dies. Besides, if it's a threat, then I will deal with it. I've been behind a desk and dealing with the inhabitants of the underworld, not to mention my mother, so I need something that'll calm me down a bit."

As she spoke she would slide from the bed and onto her feet, heading for the door and taking hold of the handle. She wouldn't open it till Dante agreed to allow her to have some fun, but she was certain that if he didn't allow her she would be able to persuade him with force or otherwise.

Rioushu nodded to Quint as he walked out of the front room. He took his sweet time exploring the manor, in no particular hurry to find the two other people in the manor. He sensed the murderous presence of two more people outside of the manor, but payed no attention to them, as long as neither of them were the owner, he had no problem with them. It was after a while of searching for a certain room that he was sure he had found it, noticing it from the extravagant doors. Ah yes, the master bedroom, just what I was looking for, this room is sure to tell me something of the owner of this place. Rioushu thought to himself, grabbing the handle and twisting it slowly, summoning his sword to his hand. He wasn't sure if anyone was in there, but he was cautious nonetheless. He tried pushing it open, but it wouldn't budge. "Oh great, I didn't want to have to cause so much damage to such an expensive door, but oh well." Rioushu said, reaching into his goodie bag (ninja bag). He pulled out and explosive note and placed it on the right door, backing away quickly as it lit up.
