She's pretty awesome and I wanna see her more lol
As for a recap~
The whole town is being overrun by zombies that are controlled by Lily.
Amos is trying to kill Lily.
During her path of destruction she killed many civilians including Katrina.
Katrina's emerald, which helps to keep the Veil down around the town has been taken by Matt.

There was recently an accident over her that took people four or five hours to get home, so they took the back roads and more accidents happened on the back roads, making it longer to get home.
