Rhed King well not giving a ******** turned out to be the message based equivalent of running through a mocking crowd with your head down stifling tears. Of course now that I'm "away" I feel much better, just have some things to address tomorrow.

I should have taken that key.
The RA from downstairs (who deals with the guys, mind you)
came up two nights ago with a key that supposedly could open my locker.
It did.
Fast forward to this morning, my money's gone.
Wtf.
Really?
That was my lunch money for the next week and a half.
I think this was planned, and I think that fat nasty fugly Raul had somehting to do with it.

Every time I step on my roommate's scale, the number gets smaller.
Looking at a scale used to terrify and appall me. Now it excites me.
I reached my goal, but I don't look the way I expected quite yet. I think my estimate was off because of my height.
Or more accurately, my lack of height. XD
Oh well. I'm damn fine right now, and only getting finer every day. cool

:D I think the fire's mostly died now.
People are being let back into most of the evacuation areas.
Some are returning to mere cinders, though.
And back when evacuations were first being organized, they didn't give enough notice for people to get livestock out, so they had horses and cows wandering all over the place. :I
Though that hiccup seemed to be taken care of after the first day or two.
I think there are still a few wandering animals, though. B:
But I'd like to think it's all better, now.
The fire destroyed some places I might've visited later, like the monument the fire was named after, and apparently there was a ruined mansion up in those hills. So uh, if there's something you want to do, or something you want to see, go do it. There are fires, rezoning, deaths, bankruptcies, and all the other s**t that can snatch the opportunity away. My mom said that when her first husband was alive, they planned on going on a cruise after the kids were moved out. Thing is, her husband died of cancer while my older brother was barely in middle school. "A lot of women take that cruise alone."
So uh... do things when you can.
You might not be able to do it later.

That's a good mentality to have, but it usually comes through an unfortunate experience. sad I'm glad it's over, though.
