((sorry my dad unplugged the computer))
Abel was in shock at the song she sang. It had to do with her father and making him a 'playmate'. Why did her father think he was pretty?He leaned against the wall as another girl entered and Cassidy trying to feed off of another girl. " What is a playmate? Why does he think I am pretty?" he pondered out loud hoping for an answer.

Before they left Cassidy heard Abel's questions.
"Find me pretty playmate, I tell," she whispered to him.
Once they were settled down Cassidy did as she was told opened a bottle poured a glass and quickly drained it, followed by a second. She poured a third and could finnally speak. "I'll tell, but first, you tell. Tell about Felecity, and Alexia, tell all."

Shadow sighed. "There isn't much to tell. I met Felicity about a week or so after you disapeared. We started talking and got close. Eventualy we married and had a child, my little Alexia." he smiled as he said her name. "But now things are getting more difficult. She has been avoiding me ever since I got back from my journey to stop the transformation I was going through. She is a sweet person and all that but I don't know what is going on anymore." he said as he cracked open a bottle for himself.

Alice slowly looked over at Athuam as it walked over to her. She then looked back at Shadow and Cassidy as they left the room. She slowly opened her mouth to say something, "................." but the words wouldn't come out. She then slowly looked back up at the thing Shadow had called in to watch her. As she sat there a lot of things started wondering through her mind and after a few moments she couldn't take it anymore. She slowly fell to the floor, having fainted.

Athuam walked over to Alice and knelt down beside her. He nudged her a few times to see if she would come to. "Wake up little mortal." he said in a deep voice.

Cassidy sighed and said, "I see. So when do I get to meet her? Where is she?" Cassidy asked.
She drained her third glass and emptied the bottle for the fourth. Once those questions were answered it would be his turn to rapid fire.

"You will get to meet her as soon as she leave the our bloody bed room. She locked herself in there. The servents bring her food a few times a day but I haven't seen her in a while and I don't expect to." Shadow let out a heavy sigh and drank straigh from the bottle. "Now then, it is time for you to tell me what is going on." he said with concern in his voice.

Cassidy snuggled close to him so that she leaned against his body her head resting on one of his shoulders as she nestled into an arm. She took a sip of the blood and said, "Daddy's a Vampire now, and he's coming here. There's going to be a big battle, there were people scary Vampires I don't know, he was fighting with him, and they were killing us, all of us. Trixie, she's a red cap goul. She has this hat, and she eats peoples flesh, and soaks her hat in blood hence the red. Daddy drinks the blood she eats the flesh, buzzards eat the organs, then there's nothing left." she said the last bit in a sing song voice. "Daddy and Valatrix have been together forever, they made me play with them. Daddy wants Abel, he thinks he's pretty, wants to take him as a playmate. Daddy loves to play, with boys and girls. Daddy and Trixie want to play with him, adopt him, but play with him. They think he can be usefull, bring him over, make him bad. Daddy want's to kill me for being a bad girl for running away. Wants to destroy this place, and take the powerfull to start a new coven."
Cassidy wanted to cry as she said, "But first, Daddy wants to play..."

Alice slowly opened her eyes to see Athuam leaning over her. As she laid there she her head kept spinning and she suddenly fainted again.

Shadow put his arm around Cassidy and pulled her close as he listened to what she was saying. He sit quietly after she finished to absorb what was said. "I won't let any of that happen Cassidy. Not to you or to this covan." he said before pausing. "What do you mean by play?" he asked.

"I mean what I said, play." Cassidy had no idea that what she was referring to had a differant name. Her father had always called it playtime said it was 'time to play' and that he would play nice if she had behaved. He never played nice. When he brought Trixie in to play, he said it was a 'play date'. "I never wanted to play," she whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Did Felicity want to play with you? Or did you make her play? Are you going to play with Alexia? Daddy said a father should always play with his daughter, to break her in... but Daddy said he would always keep me to himself, and only share with Trixie. Daddy said only people who love you, make you play. He made me play every night..."
She shuddred and snuggled closer to Shadow remembering the pain. She slowly repetead her questions and asked, "Did you make Felicity play? Or did she want to play? Will you play with Alexia?"
"Thank goodness Daddy couldn't have kids anymore after me...." Cassidy shuddered at the thought.

Shadow finaly clicked onto what she was saying. 'Play... what a sick b*****d.' he thought. He started to get angry at the thought of Cassidy's father doing such things to his own daughter. "Felicity wanted to 'play' with me. I would never force such a thing on anybody and as for Alexia, I would never do such a thing to her. It is just wrong." shadow let out a heavy sigh and tried to calm himself. "Your father has twisted the word and turned it into something else. Play was never ment to describe such a thing." Shadow kissed the to of her head "I'm sorry that you have been through such hardship in your life. I will protect you from him and Trixie."

"Why would anyone want to play? Playing hurts..." she said in a whimpery voice as she snuggled closer. She pressed herself to Shadow, she molded her body to his she wanted to be near him. "If you played with Felicity, then you must love her. And that means Daddy must love me, if I had to play with him..." Cassidy was fighting the urge to cry. "What's love Shadow?" She paused and then said, "Shadow, what's the word that describes, when you, you want to be with someone, forever? When you want to, belong to them?" She had so many questions that had left her so confused. "How come you didn't know what play was when you played with Felecity? Why won't you play with Alexia, don't you love her?"

Rajin sighed. She had never been good at finding thisgs inside buildings, and this mansion just plain turned her in circles. She once agian found the room where the comotion had ben earlier, there was a girl lying on the ground, and a few other people. She cleared her through quietly, "Uh.. Does anyone know where the Library is?"

"You 'play' with someone when you love them Cassidy. You see when you want to be closer to someone then just kissing them you do that, when it is not forced on you it can be enjoyable." shadow felt a little strange having to say thins to someone as old as Cassidy but he knew she wasn't granted the life of most people. "You just described love right there. That is love, when you want to be with someone forever and when you want to belong to them. That is love in so few words. Most peots can't cut it down into that." he explained. Shadow was taken aback by Cassidy's next question. He was sicken by the thought of doing such a thing to his daughter. "We call it something different Cassidy. Your father twisted an inoccent word into something so horrible. You are never ment to do such a thing with your own daughter. It is just horrid and for lack of a better word... evil."
Athuam turned to face Rajin. "Go out the door, turn right. It will be the first door you see past this one." he siad.
