"Hmm.." Xavier gave a bit of a mischevious smile as he lightly rubbed his chin. "Why indeed." he said before stretching until his back popped. "Perhaps it's because I'm intregued." he said before laying down again with his hands behind his head.

"Now that I haven't figured out yet." he said, his eyebrows pullling together as he thought for a few moments. "Now, my turn for a question." he said as he rolled to lay on his side, facing the two beside him. "Why is it that you keep the girl around?" he asked as he reached out to brush some hair away from Hope's face as he carefully watched her. "It seems she can't remember anything, wouldn't that make her quite worthless? Pardon my rudeness." he said as he lightly twirled a piece of his own hair around one of his fingers.

"Hm." Xavier thought that over for a moment or so. "Then what do you plan to do with her when she's recovered?" he asked curiously, turning his head to look at Hope and Shade again.

"Once she is recovered she will be capable of making her own decision. Personally I hope she chooses to stay. In which case I will do what I am doing now."

"Hmm...I see." he said while rolling onto his back again, staring up. "But until then, I have decided to stay with you two." he said while nodding, not bothering to ask for Shade's permission.

She crossed her arms and tilted her head slightly, "So where are we going?" Her voice was no longer horse, but clear as a bell, seeming to find the slightest wind to carry it on to everyones ear.

A look of concern comes over her for a moment, "And no demon can go there?" Her eyes uncross and hang loosely by her side. The woman moves forward slowly, the blindfold not seeming to impeed her.

Taking her concern to be worry about moving across lands infested with demon, the captian replies reassuringly. "None whatsoever. It is completely safe."

A shiver runs down her spin and she hangs her head muttering, "How am I to see my way then," her voice was bearly a whisper. She shook this off and offered a smile, "Shall we then?"

Captian Steel nods in agreement then turns to his men. "Let's pack up camp, men. Time to move, we're going home." A cheer goes up as the men gather up their equipment and prepare to march.

"What would you have me do?" Slowly she pulls the blindfold from around her head just enough so that it hangs around her neck like a scarf. Her white eyes stare forward blindly. She wants to summon, needs to, but she will not risk it in sight of these men. They would likely destroy her and what she calls forth.
