Air rubbed his head and sat up, as he had passed out from using Raiden's gift for too long. He reached for his sword next to him and shuddered as it shocked him lightly, then shook his head and yawned lightly. "Sheesh.....busy busy...." He muttered, hopping to his feet. He skated on the wind boredly, quickly catching up to the others. "Where to now, chief?" He asked the others, though no one in particular.

Chris looked at Air and said, " i think we should make camp here and rest up before going onward. Who knows what we might find and im not in the best condition to fight right now."

Chris looked at Jennifers wound that she got on her stomach. There was the sound of feet walking towards them and Chris became prepared for anything that was coming. A man wearing a white robe carrying a staff appeared before the groups eye's. The man with the staff said, " My name is Raiden and i have come to help." Chris couldnt believe his eye's at who was in front of them. Chris walked up to Raiden and said, " Raiden, It has been a long time since we last saw each other. Could you please help us?" Raiden noded his head and said, " Ah Chris, I see the elder god's have not failed you. Yes it has been a long time hasnt it. And yes i can help you guys since i was an elder god myslef i ccan only grant you the protection that i can give." Raiden looked around the area and saw everyone hurt in some way or another. Raiden walked over to Jennifer and said in a calm voice, " Jennifer, I knew your mother and she would have been proud that you stuck with Chris and the other's for this long time. What seems to be the problem, You look hurt?"

"i'm fine Raiden it's just this guy stabbed me in the stomach because i wouldn't tell him where my dad was. this little kid stopped the bleed but i need to let the wound heal."

Raiden pulled out a white towel and handed it to Jennifer. Chris walked besides Jennifer and said, " Raiden, Did the elder god's send you?" Raiden looked at Chris clamly and said, " Yes they did, Here Jennifer. This white cloth should stop the bleeding. It was made from the hide of Daviks dragon Corin who died after the victory over Blayze."

Chris looked at Raiden and said, " Thank god you showed up Raiden. If you wouldnt have shown up then who knows what would have happened to us." Chris walked up to Raiden and shook his hand. Raiden then looked at Chris and said, " Chris, I have heard from the other elder god's that you had weird blackouts recently." Chris remembered the last blackout that he had and said with a shudder, " Good thing i dont have them anymore. I felt scared whenever i felt a blackout coming on and i would turn expresionless and fall on the floor. Luckily Jen was there by my side the whole time."

Raiden smiled and said, " Do i hear wedding bell's in your future Chris?" Chris's face got so red that it would even beat a beet in a blushing contest. Chris replied, " Yeah, You do cause once this ordeal is over im gonna marry jennifer." Raiden just laughed and laughed until his sides hurt.

Raiden just kept on laughing. After a few minutes, Raiden got up and stopped laughing. He then looked at Chris and said, " Your family would have been proud of you. You became the new Kombat champion. You should feel happy, Not alone and brutalised." Chris looked at Raiden, His face back to it's normal color and said, " Your right Raiden, I am proud bet yet i dont feel like i am. Maybe i feel this way because Goro was never really evil. and what about that Meat character? He seemed like a good person but acted evil like. It makes me wonder sometimes wether anyone is really what they seem." Chris walked over to Jennifer and began to help her clean the blood from her shirt.
