he wasn't listening to me. this would be tricky. i shoved togan back to a safe distance and rushed forward. i tucked my harms under his shoulders and grabbed the back of his head. i consentrated on the earth where vines grew out and held his feet still.
"if you want to live and continue to serve your emperor then i suggest you not fight her at the level you're currently at." i leaned in close to his ear. "now... i'd rather resolve this peacefully as not to destroy the forest. so please calm down and lets talk. this. out." i said. going slowely on talk this out so he'd get the picture.

With a growl Nebride pulled Gren away. "GREN! Get the villagers gone! Don't make me use my magic on you too! I want you and Togan to be safe." The halbrid that she had been holding in her hands still hovered above Gwendar. "Go now!"

Gwendar: he spat some of the blood out of his mouth. (cough) my beliefs are forfit. they only cause pain. he said with a tear.
he grabbed a necklase that he wore. and from the halberd struck a bolt of lighting through Nebride. she fell over surprised.
"(cough) a witch hunters weapon is his own only through death of its owner will it ever allow another to wield it"
he picked up his weapon. he walked over toward Nebride and placed the blade at her neck as she had done to him.
"one thrust and this whole ordeal is over" DO IT WHY WONT U DO IT "just ......one"

i stood back and watched on silently. by the way he hesitated, i knew he didn't really want to kill her. "gwendar" i said softly. . . "every species has feelings, they're very hard and painful to ignore. just take a second and realize your own"

Nebride looked up at Gwendar with surprise. Sighing she reached up and moved the halbrid over her heart. "If you're going to do it, then do it right. Aim for the heart. An elf can come back in another life, but if you stab them through the heart or ruin it any other way, they will not come back."
"Just promise me one thing witch hunter. Hunt down Eleclyo, my brother, and kill him."

Nebride lay there watching Gwendar. She couldn't sense what he was thinking, but his mind was in a whirlwind. "Please Gwendar--if you're going to do it...do it."

Nebride sat up slowly and watched as Gwendar broke down and cried before her. She looked down at the sais in her hands. With only a moments hesitation she made them disappear.
She inched her way closer to Gwendar still feeling the pain of the lightening bolt that had struck her chest. With a sigh of compassion Nebride pulled the crying witch hunter into her arms. She held him close and smoothed his hair as he sobbed.
"It's alright--it's going to be okay," she whispered in his ear. Nebride looked up at Gren, hoping that she got the hint that she wanted to be left alone. "Tell me what's wrong Gwendar---why did you stop?"

Gwendar:
he couldnt stop the memorys flooding back. the years of training of service all to help him forget. forget what his brother had done. what he had done to his brother.
what have i become
he turned around and vomited up blood. he was bleeding internally. probably after being hit into the tree by the dragon.
he looked up at nebride "i couldnt do it (cough) i just couldnt"
he collapsed everything started to go dark as he was slipping into a coma

Nebride looked at the blood on the ground in shock. "No," she whispered. She could feel Gwendar's life force begin to fade away. "NO!" Nebride placed her hands over his stomach. She could feel the blood rushing.
"I will not let another die!" With a waive of her hand the shadow dragon appeared next to her. Quickly she scooped a handful of the fire out of it. "This is the only way I can help you. Shadow magic can cure anything--especially if it is the thing that caused the damage."
Nebride forced the fire into Gwendar's stomach and he shuddered. Almost instantly his breathing became normal. She could feel the blood going back to where it should be.
