He was back in his body, in a cave somewhere. It was empty except for some wolves. They didn't seem to mind him being there, so he figured it would be better to leave them alone. He glanced around, and noticed the paper laying on the floor.

*What's this?*

He read the note, and slowly stood up.

*This damn Mage, I hope they didn't do anything rash to find him.*

"sit down." Neoxis said. "you can't break these bars, and even if you did I'm right here to put you back in." he then walked closer to the bars. "if you really want to know why you are here, I don't know. You are probably the bait for your friend, Shaydra."

Neoxis frowned but decided to bluff. "how do you know of my little brother? He stays in that tree all day pretending to guard the town."

"Hmm thats interesting.. and why would you think that he would shift into me and work for an evil guy." Neoxis said, trying not to lose his cool

Shaydra, now back on the ground, cast around, suspicious yet anxious. "The trace of the spell is clear," Shaydra said, rustling her wings, "But why would the shapeshifter Mage leave such a clear imprint? Maybe...no, that's not right."
Shaydra had drawn and brought to life a strange instrument. It was a perfect sphere, but it had an arrow on the top that would swivel and move every few seconds. It also had a small hole near the bottom, and it seemed to be sucking in sparks through it.
"There!" Shaydra exclaimed as the arrow twitched and pointed straight, quivering, to the southeast. "They went that way. But," she contradicted herself, "Let's think befor persuing this red dragon."

Neoxis felt a pain in his chest and looked Northwest. "damn it, they can track me." he said to himself. Then, talking to luxran he said "we will finish our conversation later, but i can assure you, I am not Neoxis, nor am I dead." He went out of the cell block, commanding ten of the lower followers to guard luxran. Once out of the castle Neoxis flew back to the ground, making sure that no one could see him. He turned back to his normal self then flew to Shaydra and the rest of the group. "hello guys, I felt something wierd in the air and came to check it out. Is everything ok?"

Luxran went over to the bed in the cell. "like ten guards can keep me in here." he said to himself. "They don't even care to put shackles on me." he walked over to the cell door and irrated the guards. "You guards seem stupid, not putting any shackles on me."

one of the guards looked back and started talking. "What do you mean, you want them on" he asked.

"no i would just expect that if im in a jail cell, shackles would be expected." luxran said. "who was that guy who just left?"

"that was..." the guard studdered. "Im not too sure."

"Okay." luxran said walking over to the bed. he laid down and said one last sentence. "I would like some food at least."

the guard left and gathers some food for luxran.

Shaydra sniffed Neoxis suspiciously, then turned away as if he was something unpleasant between her claws.
"No, the spell is not too strong," Shaydra told Lex. "I'm confused. What's going on? If the red did not want to be tracked, why did he send this...white dragon from the same direction he came from and, furthermore, carries the same scent as him?" Shaydra spoke as if Neoxis was not there, ignoring him completely.
