*The battle had raged on for quite some time in a similar fashion. Than would often make a sluggish strike that Gabriel would simply counter or dodge all together before returning with a brutal punch or kick. So far, Gabriel only used his sword for defense. Nearly all of Than's strikes had started with him dragging the blade on the ground. It looked like the arm may have been too heavy for Than. Gabriel was growing tired of this routine, and he made it obvious. As Than stabbed straight at him. Gabriel responded with a slight turn to avoid the stab, while using that same momentum to send a vicious knee kick right to Than's ribs. A small crack would be heard as Than was thrown on his back. Gabriel re lit his sig and exhaled calmly* Kid.... you're really boring me. If you're going to give up this early then I have no reason to continue on with you..... you'll die here and now if you can't get up and hit me stare *Gabriel was serious, if Than, though he was injured as made apparent by his now tattered yukata, could not land a hit on Gabriel soon, then the archangel would just end the boy's life*

Gabriel stare twisted just finish the little fool off ! because if you don't, I might just have to do it for you, before I die of old age *Galette chuckles and leans back in his overly large chair, students would come and go making notes and yelling things to the fighters, but now it could be seen that only the younger members were around*

*Than lay panting and groaning on the floor. His ribs weren't broken but they were only one step up. After hearing the mini coversation between Galette and Gabriel, Than smirked, a little blood on his lips* You.... are the fool.... Galette-san. You and Gabriel-san both...... *Than trembled lightly as his sat up. At the same time, his left arm turned back to its hand form* Otherwise.... you'd both know that you've let me draw the trump card. *He grinned, beginning his effort to stand*

*Gabriel nodded* I guess you're right... if he-- *Gabriel stopped when Than began speaking. Needless to say, Gabriel was perplexed by the boy's implication of having victory in his grasp* Oh? You mean getting the crap beaten out of you gives you the power to win? Well if that is the case then maybe I am screwed *He laughed* course... I don't think that's the case... seeing as you can barely move.

*Than watched the students leave and grinned. Now he wouldn't have to worry about murdering any of them. Than made it to his feet* Oh no... .it's not that. I've just been setting a trap this entire fight. *Than raised his left arm to his right shoulder and tore off the entire top half of the yukata, throwing it aside. Than was turned enough so that part of the scar on his back was shown* you'll regret letting me get this chance Gabriel. *Suddenly, all of the scrapings Than had made on the floor came to life in a bright light, forming a symbol on the ground. It was the same as the one on Than's back* Don't even try to stop it... it'll only be worse..... *The symbols grew brighter and brighter until even the white walls of the dome seemed shadowed over by the brilliance of the shine*

*Gabriel looked as the scratches came to life, rather surprised he hadn't noticed their pattern before. He grabbed his sword. After another moment of observing, a sort of horror dawned in Gabriel's eyes. He'd made a clumsy mistake, and now he recognized both the symbol on Than's back and the floor*.....that seal..... where... how do you know of it, kid? *it was more a demand than a question. As the light grew, Gabriel had to squint just to keep sight of Than*

*Galette smirks* smart kid but just remember where you are *he snaps his fingers and a strip of aura forms over his eyes so he can see clearly, he wouldn't stop Than yet, he wanted to see more..Galette loved magic*

*Than glanced to Galette but just shook his head* If this works.... you're next. *A large amount of energy began to gather around Than's left hand. The energy was increasing in instability as it gathered, and its supply grew with it. Though Galette and Gabriel, probably, wouldn't know it..... this was a refined version of the attack that Than had used against Apollo in Kai's forest*

*Kaiori frowns as she lays in bed, she was tired and worried out of her mind, Than was fighting her father and no one would tell her anything about it, she didn't even know if he was alive or not*...next time I see Gabriel *kaiori rolls her hands into fists*

*Gabriel glared, teeth bared at Than* Good luck hitting me kid..... *Gabriel did his best to mask the sense of fear behind him. He knew what Than was and knew how dangerous he potentially was. Gabriel holds his sword out defensively and lets his aura flow through it. Together, Than and Gabriel were putting out a great amount of energy. The walls of the temple were most likely make to withstand magic, being the kind of place it was. Still, it would be tested if these walls could completely conceal the total energy being released*

Gladly.... *Than was only revealing half of his plan so far. He was Mastema's son..... and he was about to prove it. The white light suddenly turned to a brilliant violet/red and Than crouched close to the ground, seeming as if he were ready to lunge. Raising his right hand, Than throws it down on the symbol he'd carved...... summoning his father's most well known spell* Nightmare Circular! *Another hexagram appeared between Gabriel and Than. From this hexagram engraved in a circle, A large skull covered in the bloody sludge Mastema so often showed lunged towards Gabriel as a massive bloody claw came at Gabriel from the side*

What the!? *Than's complete change in technique and attack plan threw Gabriel off. Gabriel had nearly no time to react to the dark magic incarnation coming at him. Raising his golden blade over his head, he swung down in a powerful slash as the claw came at him. The spell put up quite a resistance, but so did Gabriel. Grunting while he had to push back the attack, Gabriel finally starts to win over the spell as it slowly deteriorates*
